This thread is for requesting edits or unlocks to Locked Pages or for requesting locks. It can also be used for technical requests to moderators such as:
- creating new pages in the Main/ and other restricted namespaces without going through Trope Launch Pad
- moving discussion pages
- moving reviews
Please keep the following guidelines in mind:
- Check Locked Pages and Permanent Red Link Club first. They can provide guidance on what are good and bad requests.
- Include working links in your request to the page(s) in question.
- If asking for edits, state your changes exactly as they should appear on the page, including proper Example Indentation, namespacing, and pothole and quote formatting. And make sure that what you want to add is actually a valid example.
- We do not edit archived articles, even to correct links.
- If you need to have the capitalization of a page title or namespace of a work fixed, ask here
.
- If you need to remove a ghost wick, go here.
- To request a page to be moved along with its history, go here.
- Some locked pages have ongoing cleanup threads, like Complete Monster (Thread), Five-Man Band (Thread), and Magnificent Bastard (Thread). Other than purely technical requests, edits to these pages ought to be discussed in these threads first.
- Also, we do not do direct edits (other than changing wicks) to Magnificent Bastard or Complete Monster example lists. Rather, you need to do the edit to a sandbox page that follows the format Sandbox.Magnificent Bastard<Name of the example subpage> and Sandbox.Monster<Name of the example subpage> (e.g for Monster.Disney it's Sandbox.Monster Disney) and ask for it to be swapped in on Saturday for Magnificent Bastard and on Monday for Complete Monster.
- Inappropriate pages that keep being recreated, pages banned under The Content Policy and subpages that are disallowed (like Headscratchers pages for tropes) are valid reasons for requesting page locks.

My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic S8 E18 "Yakity-Sax" should be unlocked. I don't understand why it is locked at all. I can find no reference to it in this thread.
It's unlocked.
Still appears locked to me. The episode aired today and this show is pretty popular, so the lack of any recent edits suggests it's locked for others as well.

I've noticed that at least a few of the Fridge pages are locked (a few of them being The Little Mermaid, Coco, and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom) and, in some cases, so were some of the Headscratcher pages (those have been fixed, though), along with the Nightmare Fuel for A Quiet Place.

Please remove the entire entry on Matt Hardy from Fallen Creator.
Matt was a whipping boy for internet wrestling fans for most of the 2000s and the early 2010s. As of 2018, it's been years since Matt's had issues with "personal demons" as they're called in the wrestling fandom. Also, since that entry was written, he started a new gimmick called BROKEN Matt Hardy that became incredibly popular - as in, it received positive media attention outside pro wrestling. So basically the whole entry is obsolete and better deleted.

The Pages In Accidentally Miscapitalised Namespaces page says "Since only moderators can create pages in Main/, changes to trope titles and trope redirects with a wrong capitalization must be submitted directly to the Lock, UnLock and Edit requests thread."
So what's the proper protocol for this? For a Main/ page, do I follow the usual procedure of adding the page's source to the appropriate sandbox and then submitting it to the cut list? Do I ask you guys to recreate the page before it gets cut, or after? (Obviously you can't recreate it before it gets cut, but I assume we want to avoid a Main/ page being down for too long, so I would think I should submit the request before the page actually gets cut, to avoid delays.)
Or do I just name the page and let you guys handle the entire moving procedure?
