During the investigation of recent hollers in the Complete Monster thread, it's become apparent to the staff that an insular, unfriendly culture has evolved in the Complete Monster and Magnificent Bastard threads that is causing problems.
Specific issues include:
- Overzealous hollers on tropers who come into the threads without being familiar with all the rules and traditions of the tropes. And when they are familiar with said rules and traditions, they get accused (with little evidence) of being ban evaders.
- A few tropers in the thread habitually engage in snotty, impolite mini-modding. There are also regular complaints about excessive, offtopic "socializing" posts.
- Many many thread regulars barely post/edit anywhere else, making the threads look like they are divorced from the rest of TV Tropes.
- Following that, there are often complaints about the threads and their regulars violating wiki rules, such as on indexing, crosswicking, example context and example categorization. Some folks are working on resolving the issues, but...
- Often moderator action against thread regulars leads to a lot of participants suddenly showing up in the moderation threads to protest and speak on their behalf, like a clique.
It is not a super high level problem, but it has been going on for years and we cannot ignore it any longer. There will be a thread in Wiki Talk
to discuss the problem; in the meantime there is a moratorium on further Complete Monster and Magnificent Bastard example discussion until we have gotten this sorted out.

Do they have any Mitigating Factors or Freudian Excuse?
Here you discuss any potential redeeming or sympathetic features the character has, the character's Freudian Excuse if they have one, as well as any other potential mitigating factors like Offscreen Villainy or questions of moral agency. Try to present these as objectively as possible by presenting any evidence that may support or refute the mitigating factors.
Do they meet the Heinousness Standard?
Here you compare the actions of the Candidate to other character actions in the story in order to determine if they stand out or not. Remember that all characters, not just other villains, contribute to the Heinousness Standard
Final Verdict?
Simply state whether or not you think the character counts or not.

He was referring to Warthog.
But Warthog was not the reason I wrote what I wrote. He was not the reason I started - or intended since Beast beat me to it - the discussion. I was planning to write about villains being cut and our reactions to that as far back as Faroul. I then decided that Myrrah was the best jumping off point for that since Lighty was kind enough to discuss her with me. Warthog just happened to make his own comment then, which I responded to because it was relevant - though I did predict some friction at her being cut.
Nothing was due to Warthog. I wanted to talk about this a long time ago.
I bring this up because I don't want people to think Warthog was the reason I did what I did. It was my decision alone. I even regret mentioning Warthog, but if I didn't mention him this situation would still have been mischaracterised. I should have explained my motives earlier I guess.
EDIT: I agree with Scraggle on the script treatment. I missed that. But it's good to have a precedent to know what to do with this in the future.

Acting as the seemingly loyal butler of the Kadoya family, Tsukikage's real identity is that of Shadow Moon from another reality where he lacks all of his original counterpart's sympathetic qualities. Keeping a close eye on Sayo Kadoya for possessing the source of Dai-Shocker's power, the Stone of the Earth, Tsukikage manipulates Tsukasa with the belief that he could stop the destruction of worlds by defeating the previous Riders, helping him in setting up the battle royal tournament, which doubles as a ritual to raise the Dai-Shocker Castle. After Tsukasa briefly resumes his role as the Great Leader of Dai-Shocker, Tsukikage takes advantage of Sayo's hatred towards her brother to organize a coup, swiftly overthrowing him to assume the throne for himself. Under his leadership, Dai-Shocker launches an ultimatum on the multiverse, ordering thousands of their own soldiers to perform kamikaze attacks and then releasing a legion of monsters to slaughter those who survived as part of their quest to assimilate all worlds into an interdimensional dictatorship.

Right King Arthur (called "King Artur" here) himself. So lighty got his boss/mentor Merlin up. So why not the man himself ? Now his mainline version is a good guy but not here
So whose the villain and what has he done?
Albion is controlled by the Artur family line hence Merlin sorta stirred him to the darkside since in order for all his atrocities to take place it requires Artur's permission. Artur and Merlin have turned Albion into a nightmareworld. The two commited geonicde on all magic inhabitants, turning the entire realam into a place of awful bloodshed and unleashing "wicker men" ( evil soliders /demons whose armour is powered by souls of the innocent kept in perpertaul torment) on the population, burning and killing anyone they come across. In one case, Artur even happily ate his own wife Guinevere for fun as well as decrating there castle with corpses that are still agonizingly alive.
Anyway Artur's bored. He's sick of being second fiddle to Merlin and know wants to be THE ruler of not just Albion but expand his reach to the normal world too. He needs Excalibur, the only weapon powerful to kill or control even Antichrist or the Betrayer. Thing is due to Artur being a douhce here, it was never given to him by the lady of the lake /Gaia/Mother Earth as it should be weilded by a good person. if your wondering, a pure hearted person like normal Artur and John Taylor can do anything with it even stop the powers of even the most powerful of monsters which is how John beat Merlin. So he comes for the noraml earth's Excalibur after disveing about the nightside after tortuing a resident from it to death.
After sneaking through a time crack, into the nightside where excalibur is, he allies with Queen Helena in the unnatural inquirer, the two start a war over the control of the nightside with the other residents. Unleashing Wicker men on the population and threatening the safety of the entire nightside as well as everyone in it. Walker eventually steps in and puts his foot down, killing Helena with Artur himself running away.
So he tries plan B, he contacts a member of the london knights, Stark whose wife has recently died and is desperate to bring her back and promises him that if he helps him find it, he'll bri g her back after its done. While leaving out that.... proper resurrection (unless you want to be a zombie or revenat or in one case ) isnt actually possible for real and wouldn't actually stick unless its done by Gaia and that his wife would instead be stuck in a constant cycle of being brought back and dying over and over again (dick). Anyway Stark steals it from John whose been sent it by Gaia in order for safe keeping. He takes it to Artur who reveals that he intends to use it to control Merlin and trasnform the nigfhtside into his own hedonistic monsteristy in order to enjoy himself for all off etenrity. Ruling over two realms. Anyway John defeats Artur and Suzie then kills him which causes Stark to rush into the portal hoping to conact Merlin instead (If your wondering he has a Heel Reliaztion and gives the sword to john there who finishes off Merlin. Gaia then helps resurrect his wife and two set about reforming Sinsiter Albion and bring peace to it at last as its new rulers. So happy ending).
Nah. Artur isnt actually bothered with Merlin stirring him to the darkside. In face he loves it and genunily doesnt care at all. He really enjoys being an evil, hedonistic scumbag and even plans to overthrow him to create an empire for himself. All of this evil is stuff that he choses to do.
Other redeeming qualities
Hahah no. Hes not loyal to Merlin. Hes not told Stark that Merlin cant actually resurrect his wife and plans to betary him. He even thanks for John for elping kill his compatriots in Queen Helena as it allows him the entire nightside for himself. He is a douchy peace of shit.
Heinous standard ?
I actually think so. Merlin's entire reign is only possible due to Artur. the torture, genoicde is only due to him which puts those two way above what most villains even dream of doing in either nightside or secret histories. That and on his own, he thretahen the entire population of the nightside during unnatural inquirer and plans to later convert the entire thing into a nightamreworld. So yeah I pass him.

Man, how many KR CM's have we missed? I guess it being Japanese contributes but it's still impressive we're still adding notable villains - like Shadow Moon is from a fairly well known KR movie. It's not like he's from some spin-off manga.
