A recurring question: When is it long enough to split off a subpage?
While answers varynote , we can usually tell when a subpage is not long enough. Bring any candidates here and we can discuss whether or not they were properly split off and agree on whether or not to merge them back.
Here's one to start off discussion: Pun-Based Title.Webcomics. Merge back to Pun-Based Title?
YouAreAlreadyDead.Five Nights At Freddys isn't linked nor split out from You Are Already Dead?
Do we merge it back into the work?
YamatoNadeshiko.Live Action TV: Short-looking from my scrollbar, and starts off with second-level or more bulleting??

For the Yamato Nadeshiko one it looks like someone just failed to copy over the top-level Super Sentai bullet point when copying over everything else. I would suggest adding a link to the FNAF subpage on You Are Already Dead but a) that page doesn't have any other subpages as it is so adding a subpage for one franchise seems like overkill when there isn't one for video games in general, and b) some, possibly most, of the examples on the subpage seem like they might be misuse.

Well, it's still weird to have a subpage but not have its contents cut out from both sides?
Same thing happening with MemeticMutation.Path Of Exile.

TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupLoveTriangle. The DCU and LoveTriangle.Marvel Universe are looking too short to be split from LoveTriangle.Comic Books.
LikeFatherUnlikeSon.After The Jungle Series
Merge back into work? How's the other work's subpages?
Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576^Those would be better split alphabetically
Bumping for input on ^^
I agree.
I think it's better to put all the subpages back and then split the work page into equal parts.
FandomSpecificPlot.Case Closed and FandomSpecificPlot.Moral Orel seems way too short to have its own subpage. Move back to main?
Meanwhile Fanfiction has a Star Wars entry with more than 10 sub-bullets. Is that enough to split into its own subpage?
4 and 6 first level bullet points are too short, IMO, so
IMO again only if the subpage is getting the page length warning...
Is BadassAdorable.Visual Novels too short compared to the other subpages ?
Well, it's 40 bullets tall. But that's less than two screens on my computer.

A lot of the other subpages could easily be merged back. Less a "Is this subpage too short?" question but rather "Is the parent page even long enough?"
Throughout last year, a troper called FoominBlue repeatedly made very short subpages. They were informed about this and stopped, but they never bothered to move the subpages back.
I've already merged several pages back (A Birthday, Not a Break, Accidental Murder, Dragged Off to Hell, Fatal Family Photo, Going for the Big Scoop) but their edit history shows far many subpages made with very short lengths for tropes (will get to work on these) such as:
- Jade-Colored Glasses
- Burning the Ships
- Wants a Prize for Basic Decency
- Poison and Cure Gambit
- Cornered Rattlesnake
- Betrayal by Inaction
- The Dutiful Son
- Hidden Disdain Reveal
- Silly Rabbit, Idealism Is for Kids!
- Bad Guys Do the Dirty Work
- Beat Them at Their Own Game
- Operation: Jealousy
The list goes on, but there are much more subpages in need of re-merging back to the main pages. Any help would be appreciated.

Your receipt. You can keep the freakin' change.ShoutOut.Warhammer: Why is it so short?
And just noting that After the Jungle Series's still unresolved.

I moved back the shortest subpages of Jade-Colored Glasses and Wants a Prize for Basic Decency. The other subpages of those were enough effort to scroll through that I didn't bother.

The Dutiful Son and Poison and Cure Gambit's example subpages are both merged back.

Yes, that's way too short.
ReferencedBy.Blue Screen Of Death has only 6 examples, which easily fit into a wide load page if defolderized. That being said, the main page is a Useful Notes page rather than a work or trope page, so what I do with that? Do I merge it back into a section showing how the BSOD is used in media, or do I just leave it alone?

Yes, you should place it on Blue Screen of Death in a Depictions in media/Examples section.
Done and cutlisted.
Is EyeScream.Web Animation short compared to other subpages ?
