It's been discussed a lot at the Video Uploading
thread that a lot of poor videos are slipping through the cracks, and that a clean-up effort is necessary if we are to combat the problem.
Common issues are:
- Videos spoiling major events from a work
- Videos not actually fitting the trope they're attached to
- Videos in which the important part doesn't happen until halfway through, with the length being ultimately pointless
- Videos that use the entire work, breaking copyright; this can be done either with one video showcasing an entire short video, or multiple videos that add up to using the entire work in piecemeal.
- Videos lacking the proper media source, or any media source at all.
- General quality problems, like audio issues or artifacting.
So, we've got our work cut out for us; but this is at least a place to discuss problems and come to solutions.

~nombretomado You denied the new video I uploaded; you should restore that one and deny the old one which had some irrelevant stuff at the beginning and wasn't properly cropped. Also deny the Blueberry Pie song on Ear Worm since it's the whole video and the trope is IUEO.

The Big "NO!" Star Wars video example is from Revenge of the Sith, not A New Hope.
The Curb-Stomp Cushion video example "Mario vs Steve part 1" should have Nukazooka listed as its media source, since I just created that page.
The Boondocks example on Strictly Formula is really blurry.

I just got through watching Daffy Duck on the Non Sequitur, *Thud* page, and the clip doesn't show the "thud" part of the trope.
If not for this anchor I'd be dancing between the stars. At least I can try to write better vampire stories than Twilight.

A note about Potty Failure.
This trope has had an IP discussion. It went from no pic to has a pic but don't change it and absolutely don't start an Image Links subpage due to the trope's squicky nature. See here for reference.
I find it strange that pics are absolutely forbidden yet the page has so many video examples. I actually haven't seen any because I don't really need (or want) to watch it.
ETA: So I've watched one video example. It's nothing graphic, but it's still kinda gross. It was the one with the barbie dolls.
I just thought I should mention it. I'm not saying the videos should be deleted en masse but 6 video examples of this trope seems too much, considering an image links page is forbidden.
ETA: A link to the index: Administrivia.Image Pickin Special Cases. Hollering this post, because I'd like an answer from a mod. I don't have any strong feelings about this, only I find it contradictory — videos are allowed, pictures are forbidden.

We decide in ATT that Epileptic Flashing Lights could possibly be hazardous with autoplaying videos. Thoughts?

On a related note, a video I uploaded to Chest Burster, from Covetous, also contains flashing lights (the title explicitly says ("MAJOR EPILEPSY WARNING!") as such, but still). Should that be removed too?

Okay, so, this ATT thread from yesterday was talking about the possibility of making a "No video examples, please!" sort of index, and we've already narrowed one definite trope that should not have any videos whatsoever for viewer safety:
What other tropes have problematic videos that should probably be removed and/or have zero videos there in the first place?

Any trope that doesn't have on-page examples, like Jump Scare. Most pages on the "no pic" list or which had an image chosen to move them off that list, like Naked Apron and Potty Failure.

Keet cleanup
The video load system is really, incredibly basic. It's missing a lot of features that would make all of our lives better, including tracking rejections, and showing things like length limits.
I'm asking you to keep this in mind and give us a break, alright? We are working with the bare minimum and forced to compensate with manual management that takes up a lot more time and attention to detail we can't always spare. Because we're human and make mistakes that often don't have systems in place to catch unthinking errors.
I'll reject it again later and note this instance to the other mods.
