I don't see three valid examples for Crisis.

My main reason for saying I think it should be cut was that it's a stub, but I didn't word that clearly. The "especially" part was regarding how there could potentially be even less to trope than before due to development starting over.

The series has not been officially announced. The project is only known because of a freaking leak, the production is currently on hold and it's even possible that the show isn't going be picked up.

There was no indication that it ever was even entering filming stage in the first place, especially since HBO claimed that it was a completely unrelated pitch (which GRRM nicknamed "The Long Night") that is being focused on right now. Cut it away.

Hello, I'd like to speak about the trope page for The Clone Wars Season 7.

I made a new page for the new season since shows like Samurai Jack and Young Justice have their own revival season pages, and I wanted to separate the past seasons with the current one. There's also the SDCC 18 trailer that came out last summer, so i'll move the work over to the trailer section.

I keep tabs on it constantly, so i'll make sure it doesn't have any Speculative Troping.

It's already full of Speculative Troping:

• The Bus Came Back: Ahsoka makes her return after previously leaving the Jedi Order during the Fugitive arc. This is based on the trailer, I assume? If so, it needs to specify that she returns in the trailer. Trailers Always Lie.
• Costume Evolution:
  • Anakin and Obi-Wan's designs are now in line with how they will look in Revenge of the Sith, with Anakin sporting a mullet and Obi-Wan wearing a Jedi robe. Speculation based on trailer.
  • Ahsoka changed from her previous outfit to a blue short dress with a metallic headpiece^note which replaces the akul teeth she wore as a cultural trophy from Shili and a pair of wrist gauntlets. Speculation based on trailer.
• Enemy Mine: The first time Ahsoka and Bo-Katan met, the two were fighting each other on Carlac. Now, they're standing side-by-side in a holocall. Speculation.
• Flaunting Your Fleets: An enormous Republic fleet is seen above Fort Anaxes. Speculation, passive voice, Zero-Context Example. Who's doing the flaunting? Who is witnessing the flaunting?
• Late-Arrival Spoiler: Ahsoka standing next to Bo-Katan gives away the latter's Heel–Face Turn that occurred during the Shadow Collective arc. Speculation based on trailer.
• Leaning on the Fourth Wall: Ahsoka greeting Anakin with "It's been a while" is two-fold; the announcement of The Clone Wars renewal marks the installment's return after five years since it's initial cancellation and also marks it as the first major Prequel era installment (minus any canonical novels and comics) in the new Disney era. This line happens in the trailer, I assume? It needs to say so; there's no guarantee the line will happen in the work proper.
• The Oner: In the SDCC 18 trailer, the camera follows an LA-AT flying to Fort Anaxes, then shows Anakin, Rex, and Hunter walking outside the base, and finally pans to a humongous Republic fleet above them. This might be the only good entry so far.
• Recycled Trailer Music: The SDCC 18 trailer uses the same music from The Force Awakens second teaser. This is fine.'
• Role Reprisal: Matt Lanter, Ashley Eckstein, James Arnold Taylor, and Dee Bradley Baker will all return as Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and the Clone Troopers respectively. Do all of these actors reprise their roles in the trailer? If so, it needs to say so. If not, it's speculation.
• Saved by Canon: With the seventh season being produced after the conclusion of Rebels, characters such as Ahsoka, Rex, and Bo-Katan are guaranteed to survive. Speculation.
• Wham Line: A meta example in the SDCC 18 trailer: Misuse. As a rule of thumb, "a meta example" is code for "blatant shoehorning."
  A war left unfinished....until now.
• Wham Shot: Anakin asks Rex why he was called over before the camera shows Ahsoka in a holographic transmission, who was last seen leaving the Jedi Order. Is this in the trailer? If so, it needs to say so.

Edit: Some of the above might be salvageable, so I've commented them out as opposed to deleting them. As of right now, the only two valid entries are The Oner and Recycled Trailer Music.

Unless at least one of the commented-out entries can be rehabilitated so that the page meets the three-example minimum, I'd call for merging this back into the main Clone Wars page.

That might be warranted anyway, but as I'm not part of the Clone Wars fandom, I'll leave the decision of whether this revival warrants a separate page to others.

Wasn't the Young Justice page merged back because people found splitting it unnecessary?

Young Justice still has a separate page for Season 3.

Regarding TCW, i'll request a page delete since there is less than three tropes. I guess this also means no tropes from any trailers until it releases?

Not necessarily. Characters die and come back in fiction all the time, either through sci-fi or magical macguffinry or because they were Actually a Doombot.

Technically speaking, Ahsoka, Rex and Bo-Katan are still alive post-Rebels. Bo-Katan is still alive, Rex was at the Battle of Endor, and Ahsoka appeared in the very last scene of Rebels.

Can you at least reinstate "Empire of Ash" while the prequel situation is still in flux? HBO just got new owners and they said they're going to re-assess the situation.

Failing that, can the current page be archived somehow?

It's precisely BECAUSE it's in flux that it SHOULDN'T have a page. Seriously, how hard is it to wait until it actually exists before trying to trope it?

I'm still not sure what you mean by that. Canonically, the characters appeared in Rebels, and since Rebels is set after TCW, they're still Saved by Canon.

High Crate was probably responding to The Dragon Demands.

Anyway while we're at it, we might talk about the other Star Wars works on the chopping block.

Star Wars 9 doesn't have a trailer nor a definitive title.

Big Bad, Horse of a Different Color and Spirit Advisor might fall under Speculative Troping while Last Episode, New Character might be a ZCE.

However, I'm reluctant to call it a cut since it has some confirmed information and the article has 87 wicks.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order however is a blatant stub with one trope that is a misused(A Continuity Nod isn't about a mildly similar plots).

Spirit Advisor has a "possibly" right in the writeup.

Bond 25 was removed again from the Future Works list, despite a whole category on the page being meant for listing planned works that have not released substantial pre-released material yet.

Should it be restored again? Asking because it would be an edit war if I did without asking here.
