Its actually an effective method if you want to conversating with several offended people (You could argue that Euphemisms are considered to be much more inclusive language). But its a rather double edged sword as it can crippled the English language because we're playing endless hopscotch about to find a good word to talk to several offended people in case if the word becomes a slur that offended them and thus, the original word lost its meaning because they find it to be offensive IMO. In the end of the day, its still truly a double edged sword.
