So, Doctor Doom is now Marvel Comics: Doctor Doom, but the former is also a comic book. Are there any others like that?
CM Dates; CM Pending; CM DraftsI've been trying to record the list of pages that have been split between characters and Comic book Runs on Gigan Kills the Marvel Universe under split pages
It's gonna be fun on the bun! Also change of topic We've been moving over individual characters. What about team? like the Avengers or Defenders?
It's gonna be fun on the bun!Why was Main.Marvel Comics Series moved to ComicBook.Marvel Comics Series? I thought indexes weren't supposed to be namespaced.
(To make matters worse, both of them do indexing at the moment, leading to a duplicate index at the bottom.)
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.Indices can be namespaced; creator pages are indexed all the time.
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessYes, but "Marvel Comics Series" is neither a creator nor a work. The creator is Marvel Comics and the work is the Marvel Universe.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.Ok see this is my fault. I didn’t know the rule behind why it was like that. I looked at the DC Comics equivalent and changed as so.
It's gonna be fun on the bun!I noticed Jennifer Walters in She-Hulk ended showing up in two character pages, She Hulk Jennifer Walters (in which she's alone) and She-Hulk: Title Character (in which she shares with Lyra). Should She Hulk Jennifer Walters be cut, Lyra be moved to She Hulk Allies or Lyra get her own character page?
I separated them like that but it would probably work better to put them back together.
It's gonna be fun on the bun!I’ll take Jen’s page to the Cut List and move the contents to the Title Character page, is that OK?
SKREEEEEEEONK!Yeah that works. I’m always open to better ideas.
It's gonna be fun on the bun!Soooo, shall I merge Marvel Comics Series into Marvel Comics?
SKREEEEEEEONK!Hey so I had an idea about separating the Marvel Universe Characters from Characters.Marvel Comics to Characters.Marvel Universe and setting it up like Characters.Marvel Cinematic Universe. Thoughts? this might a new project altogether.
Ive set up a rudimentary Sandbox at All New, All Different Marvel Universe .
I'm not good with names.

It's gonna be fun on the bun!It looks like Tomboy (Sterling) should be merged into ComicBook.Captain Flash. Apparently the character only ever appeared in that series.
Gate Star X, please stop moving the contents of ComicBook/ pages to Franchise/.
Teams like the Avengers, X-Men and Fantastic Four should stay where they are. They have their own comics and they are long-runners.
Ultimate Secret WarsRight, The Punisher is a comic series. Each media franchise page is prioritized over a multimedia franchise page.
Link to TRS threads in project mode here.Who said anything about "priority"? There has to be both a page about the comic and (if applicable) a page about the franchise. And if the comic book page has franchise content, then split that portion to a new page.
With the unilateral recent changes, there is no page about the Avengers comic book. Does that seem fine? Doesn't that ring any bells?
Ultimate Secret WarsBut we do have pages for Avengers comics, the individual Comic Book Runs and the various other Avengers series had there own page’s meaning that ComicBook. The Avengers served to list the tropes that span across all of the Avengers comics, or, in broader terms, the Avengers franchise.
SKREEEEEEEONK!I think Franchise.Spider Man serves as a good template for how a franchise page for a superhero should be done. It's very broad and covers the series as a whole, but it's written completely differently than ComicBook.Spider Man.
Now it's not perfect, but it's a lot better than just making the comic book page just redirect to the franchise one.
There are some other comic book pages that redirect to a Franchise page, like ComicBook.Superman and ComicBook.Batman, so I can see where the confusion comes from.
Yeah I jumped the gun a little here. To be fair what I was trying to do is separate the Comics from the Character so I had the Idea to move the Comic Book pages to the franchise pages. I did these moves based on what I saw from other pages i.e. Batman, Superman, and the Flash.
The only page I didn't touch was ComicBook.Deadpool. I think that more accuratly describes the Comics as a whole while keeping both the Character and any other franchise related stuff seperate at Characters.Deadpool Wade Wilson and Franchise.Deadpool. I think that Comicbook.Spider Man and Franchise.Spider Man while describing different things share the same list of tropes.
