Zalgo is like Slenderman in that he's less a meme and more like an internet urban legend.
Which I think is something that actually does warrant a TV trope.
YMMV.
Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters.WesternAnimation.Space Strikers: Aside from Darth Vader Clone (which is now a disambiguation), and maybe Evil Former Friend, nothing seems to have enough context. Cutlist?
TRS Wick CleaningRoleplay.IAS - we might need to euthanize this one. The last update (save for someone else commenting out ZCE yesteryear) was in 2016. (EDIT: And why is this not indexed?)
Characters.IAS already had the ZCE-fest cleaned up, but all that's left is a pile of empty folders

IDK about a total cut, I see at least 3-4 non-ZCE examples and that's enough to keep the work page.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessCan we just comment out ZCE on a YMMV page, or do we need to handle them differently?
Page in question is YMMV.The Many Dates Of Danny Fenton, Entry for Ron the Death Eater
ZCE is ZCE, YMMV or not.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.YMMV usually needs more explanation, amusingly.
Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters.Does Araya have 3 solid tropes?
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupI don't think so. The Smurfette Principle example is misuse as written because that trope is when a female character is an all male cast to appeal to the female audience and Raven Hair, Ivory Skin example doesn't explain how she's seen as beautiful for those features in-universe.
Macron's notesJust commented out a bunch of ZC Es on Hanjuku Joshi, after it went through Image Pickin to get a less explicit page pic. If anyone knows the work and wants to expand on the examples, go for it.
My troper wallI'm looking through FanWorks.Transformers and finding a surprising amount of pages with lots of ZCEs. Do any of these pages look like they have any examples with context? (Editing this as I go along):
- Where You And I Collide
- The Kaceystar Trilogy (and subpages, gives me a lot of Auto-Erotic Troping vibes)
- They Just Don't Care Anymore
- Nightmares Of The Reaper
- Beauty and the Beast (also has some broken English and some more Auto-Erotic Troping vibes)
Edited by Wafer on May 15th 2022 at 7:28:10 AM
- Where You And I Collide: Not enough examples with context. Cut.
- Nightmares of the Reaper: Two examples total. Cut.
- The Kaceystar Trilogy: Not enough to save. Cut.
- They Just Don't Care Anymore: I was able to find enough examples with context. Keep.
- Beauty and the Beast: Not sure on certain items.
- Only the Author Can Save Them Now: Lampshaded and averted. The author didn't save him.
??? Should I cut it?
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupYMMV cannot be played with. Cut away.
Edit: It's been cut.

she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportYou know how people do a Wiki Walk now and then? Well, I found some serious ZC Es on Characters.Hollywood U Rising Stars. The game stopped updating 5 years ago since Pixelberry moved onto Choices: Stories You Play though it's still available on app stores.
We're talking just blank entry tropes and X is this. I haven't played it in forever and I'm irked.
I can't remember who it was on here, but character pages are rife with ZC Es.
Is Without a Trace (1983) a stub or it barely works?
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupMistaken for Pedophile is a ZCE. The other two are fine.
And that means the page needs to be cut.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessSend a ZCE notifier, maybe that last example can be filled out.
(Honestly all it needs is a clarification that the police are assuming the guy's a pedophile — it has the rest of the context.)

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.I added another example.
Random statement: I've learned a lot by watching how everyone works here.
Thanks for all your hard work.
Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters. Most of the entries on Operation Mincemeat were ZCEs, I commented them out but mmcasetti reverted those edits with no justification and without expanding the entries to make them non-ZCEs. They also moved a non-YMMV entry to the YMMV page, that's actually the only actual change made beside reverting my edits.
It seems mmcasetti considers themselves as being the sole owner of the page, the entries I commented out where added by them, and more than half of all their edits have been made on this work and its subpage during the three last months.
I brought the issue here to avoid an edit war.
(I can't actually expand the examples myself, I never watched this play. I found the page by complete chance while looking for a page about the 2022 movie)
Edited by Psychopompos007 on May 17th 2022 at 11:17:29 AM
Technically, they've already edit-warred. We generally report those on ATT.
Sorry, I can't add any context to these, as I don't know the play either.
Yeah, it's already an edit war so you have just reported the issue on Ask The Tropers. But since we are here, I suspended mmcasetti for edit warring.

Does anyone know Theatre.Men In White ?
What I've been able to glean from other bits on the page:
