Welcome, QueenoftheCats! ^_^
... Does this put you in a position of authority over wingedcatgirl, on the previous page? :P
I can definitely relate to having plenty of unfinished projects!
(For one thing, I really struggle to complete fan -fic/-art works.)
Then it sounds like you know what's with you. ;P

My Games & WritingFair enough lol
And yeah, lots of unfinished projects here, too
I've said it before but I'll say it again, literal ADHD leads naturally to Attention Deficit Creator Disorder
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.I wanna upload my two short stories on AO 3. But, at the same time, i don't feel like it would be worth it, since i fear people wouldn't care about it or it's just too boring, so i just let it eat dust on my google docs...
The purpose of AO3 is to be an archive, so it's fine even if nobody reads it.
But also, probably more people will read it than you might think.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing. So, in the end, i've decided to upload my short story. I'm both intrigued and terrified of how it will do. At least, my work will stay archived, i guess?
Good luck with it! ^_^
My Games & WritingDon't get too caught up on whether it gets traffic or not. Just enjoy the ride.
A cruel, sick joke is still a joke, and sometimes all you can do is laugh.Well, it's a pretty dull ride, so far...
I'm working on a Pokémon Mystery Dungeon -inspired story called "One Young Hero" to post on my Tumblr blog soon. It's about a Riolu, prophesized to save the day from the evil Shadows, meeting five children from the nearby Leafdew Town and joining them on adventures. I think I've got a pretty good Five-Man Band going with the Leafdew Town kids:
- The Leader: Axew, a clever prankster
- The Lancer: Growlithe, a prime example of Dogs Are Dumb and also a Big Eater
- The Smart Girl: Vulpix, the Straight Man to everyone's antics
- The Big Guy: Machop, who tends to be 90% brawn and 10% brains, and whose main battle strategy is Attack! Attack! Attack!
- The Chick: Torchic, a Genki Girl with No Social Skills who I based off of 2017!Webby Vanderquack.
Also Riolu's backstory: he's sent to an unfamiliar place to bump off a bunch of people, but becomes the Idiot Hero when he experiences some blunt head trauma and lives in the forest for a while until being discovered. Sound familiar? (Altough here Riolu's blunt head trauma is from a misfired Rock Throw attack.)
Thousand Dreamers, Watashi wa Saikyo, and Believe slap so hard. This is probably the first time I'm really posting on here but my co-writer told me that I needed to come here so I can talk to other writers! I am currently making websites for both my graphic novel and my various writings. I even have an Adult Paranormal Romance on both my website and Wattpad.
At this moment, I am seeking representation for a second agent for some Middle Grade work of mine. I love writing dark, spooky and fantasy based work.
So what is everyone else working on today?
Welcome aboard, Death ~
I'm onto a scene in my fanfic where two characters are being confronted by their lunatic of a mother in person for the first time in months (in story time) and, in general, for the first time on screen/page. Trying to strike the right balance between not making it anti-climatic but also not making it too over-the-top.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessBlanked out looking at a Word doc, same with my iPad and pen stylus, but good ole pen and paper seem to be helping me write this New Adult adventure drama.
A cruel, sick joke is still a joke, and sometimes all you can do is laugh.Writing things on paper really does seem to get the words flowing. Even if you can't get it perfect right away, it always helps. There's some weird disconnect when it comes to the screen.

Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessSome time ago I posted an intro cutscene for feedback in the critique thread, and was given some useful responses, I think.
Taking that feedback, I reworked said intro cutscene—and since it was help from this forum that aided me, I thought that I'd share the end result here.
(I'm not posting in the hope of further critique, to be clear—just sharing and showing.)
Nice. Thanks for sharing.
"We learn from history that we do not learn from history."Oh my god, you won't believe what i noticed yesterday, guys! It's a miracle, really!
Somebody actually read my short story!

My Games & WritingThank you! Though, honestly, trying to attract people to my story on AO 3 is hard becuase i don't know what tags to put on my story. Plus, the vast majority of readers on the internet only want to read fanfiction, they don't really care about original stories, so yeah, not getting my hopes up.
Still, it feels really nice to know somebody bothered reading it.

Ended up realizing that one of my plot points would be better suited for somewhat of the midpoint of the whole screenplay—that being Autumn being rejected by Liz.
Heck, I feel like this exchange might actually do wonders for Autumn's character arc, starting her journey into darkness.
AUTUMN
Lizzie, I, I... I love you!!
Liz flinches, shocked. Leans toward her.
LIZ
AJ, how do I put this lightly?
(puts hand on her shoulder)
I... don't.
Bitch got rejected so hard she turned to the dark side.

she/her/they | wall | sandbox... That harsh feeling when you realize you have a gaping wide plot hole...
A cruel, sick joke is still a joke, and sometimes all you can do is laugh. So i have finished the first draft of the revised version of my first short story, "The Wicked Witch of the Pitch". I'm pretty fine with what i've written. In fact, there was almost nothing to add, just a new intro.
Nice!
Ah, that feeling when you try to make a coherent story out of this one weird dream you had a couple weeks ago.
So, let's hang an anchor from the sun... also my TumblrNo joke, I had a dream with such a wild plot I wanted to turn it into a story, but it's also such a weird one that figuring out the plot is...hard.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessI'm currently writing an Alternate History fiction, temporarily called The Abominable Admiral, a story set in the early 20th century, focusing on an Asian American born in San Francisco who enters the US Naval Academy eventually climbing up to the ranks of an admiral.
Here's what I felt really hilarious. Initially, I designed him as an idealistic, peaceful young man who just wants to get by in a crazy world.
And then suddenly, less than three chapters in, when he gets harassed by a local tong (basically, a Chinese-American crime organization) he organizes a vigilante group. Then he storm the gang's hideout, beat the crap out of the members with baseball bat, and torture the gang's leader into leaving San Francisco altogether.
He's 14, btw.
As I finished writing that part, I was thinking, "Man, that escalated quickly."
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.
I'm new here so I wanted to introduce myself here. I'm a writer, and I work with both original fiction and fanfiction (Yu-Gi-Oh, mainly). I'm one of those writers that have trouble finishing a project before moving onto a new one, so...I tend to have a lot of unfinished projects I'm working on.
So hello, all of you. Glad to be here.
