Pip and Posy is a 2021 British Preschool Show based off the book series of the same name. The series follows the adventures of best friends Pip, a rabbit, and Posy, a mouse, as they navigate day-to-day life with their friends and surroundings.

The series has aired on Sky Kids, Milkshake! and Nick Jr. in the U.K. and Ireland, and has also aired internationally in France and Germany. In the United States, numerous clips and compilations have been made available through the program's official YouTube channel, though as the program has no U.S. broadcaster, only three full episodes have been made available and when a new one is posted, the previous one is removed.

Pip and Posy contains the following tropes:

  • Adults Are Useless: Like the book series, adults have no role in the series. Unlike the books, they don't appear at all in the series.
  • Age Lift: In the original books, Pip, Posy, and their friends were stated to be toddler aged. In this series, they act more like grade-schoolers.
  • Awkward First Sleepover: "Go to Sleep Zac" focuses on Posy and Zac attending a sleepover at Pip's house, the latter excited since it's his first one. But, because of the different routine, he can't sleep and stays awake playing games, to the chagrin of the other two.
  • Companion Cube: Piggy to Pip and Froggy to Posy.
  • Dreadful Musician: Downplayed with Zac. While he isn't necessarily bad at drumming, he has trouble playing on a beat.
  • Embarrassment Plot: "Silly Hats" showed Pip being embarrassed when Posy forgets her pinky promise to wear a silly hat with him to the park, making him look silly in front of everyone. Posy, feeling bas, recruits the rest of her friends to wear silly hats as well, making Pip feel better about himself.
  • Five-Man Band:
  • Instrumental Theme Tune: The theme tune is a lively instrumental, though Pip and Posy talk over it.
  • New Friend Envy: Posy becomes jealous of Zac when he starts to bond with Pip more while playing with the sandpit in one episode.
  • Not My Lucky Day: In the beginning of the episode "Happiness Hill", Posy has a mishap with her breakfast, causing her to be late to her playdate with Pip, causing him to accidentally make a child drop their ice cream, mistaking them for Posy.
  • Pajama-Clad Hero: "Pyjama Day" focuses on Posy only wanting to wear her pajamas and stay inside for the entire day, upsetting Pip, who wanted to play with her.
  • Potty Emergency: Jamila has a minor one in "Magico Mystico".
  • Primal Fear: Both Pip and Posy are a little afraid of bugs. Jamila helps them get over it, though.
  • Odd Friendship: One episode focuses on the loud and extroverted Zac trying to make friends with the quieter and introverted Mo.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: All the kids have a tendency to do this when things don't go their way.
  • Slumber Party: "Bedtime Piggy" shows Posy having one at Pip's but forgetting to bring her Companion Cube, Froggy, with her.
  • Stage Magician: Frankie pretends to be one in one episode. She temporarily quits after Zac reveals all her tricks and interrupts the show.
  • Stock Animal Diet: In "Pancake Pals," Posy asks Pip, a rabbit, what his "favoritest" thing to put in a pancake is. He replies "carrots" and she tells him it's his lucky day.
  • Two-Timer Date: Posy promises to play with both Pip and Frankie in one episode.
  • Unwanted Gift Plot: One episode focuses on Posy giving Pip a toy that he already has.
    • Another focuses on her giving him a creepy drawing that accidentally scares him.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: Pip and Posy themselves are prone to arguing and competing against each other, but it always ends well between them.
