Eons Ago (also found here) is a doujinshi of the popular Transformers: Prime series, created by DeviantArtist YukiOni.

The story revolves around Starscream and Megatron's blossoming relationship, from the moment Starscream becomes Megatron's second-in-command, to near the end of the TV series. But of course, the path of true love never DID run smooth, and the duo have quite a few obstacles to overcome - not least the secrets in both their pasts.

Just a quick warning - the comic is mildly Not Safe for Work.

Eons Ago provides examples of:

  • Arranged Marriage: Starscream was in one long ago.
  • Beta Couple: Breakdown and Knockout.
  • Big Damn Heroes: Megatron and Soundwave coming to Starscream's rescue after the seeker is kidnapped.
  • The Cameo:
    • The Autobots only appear in two pages of Chapter Two, and even then they only appear in one panel on each page.
    • Wheeljack and Bulkhead have a slightly bigger role in Chapter 10, during a flashback to Breakdown's first meeting with Knockout.
  • Color Failure: Despite being a black-and-white comic, it happens quite a few times.
  • Distressed Dude: Starscream in Chapter Five, when he is knocked out and kidnapped by Steve the Vehicon and Makeshift.
  • Establishing Character Moment: Megatron makes his first appearance yelling at a Vehicon to extinguish another's spark as punishment for failure.
  • Advertisement:
  • Flash Back: Chapters Six, Nine, Ten, Eleven and Twelve consist entirely of flashbacks
  • Infant Immortality: Averted.
  • Love Dodecahedron: In the present day, Starscream has Megatron, Soundwave and Steve the Vehicon in love with him, and in the past he had to deal with the affections of his friend Skyfire and his fiance Steelmind, the latter of whom had to deal with Shockwave's affections.
  • Mercy Kill: Megatron once gave one to two sparklings who had a terminal virus.
  • Mister Seahorse: Starscream's trinemates leave Cybertron before the war, due to Skywarp being pregnant.
  • Offscreen Moment of Awesome: Megatron managing to avoid being attacked by Makeshift.
  • Pair the Spares: Soundwave and Shockwave, Steve and Makeshift.
  • Pet the Dog:
    • Megatron carries Starscream to the medbay after the latter collapses from energon deprivation.
    • Advertisement:
    • In Chapter Six, we learned that he once gave two Vehicon sparklings a Mercy Kill after they contracted a lethal virus.
  • Say My Name: Starscream does this twice:
    • "MEGATRON!" (while Starscream is being sexually harassed by Steve.)
    • "STEELMIND!" (while Starscream is dreaming of the death of his former fiance.)
  • Slap-Slap-Kiss: Megatron and Starscream's relationship in a nutshell.
  • Smooch of Victory: Megatron gives Starscream one after the destruction of the Autobot base.
  • Spared by the Adaptation: Makeshift.
  • Time Skip: The last part of the final chapter takes place three years after the main story.
  • The Un-Reveal: We never DO learn how Soundwave recovered from his injuries so quickly, how Megatron managed to avoid being attacked by Makeshift, or how Megatron learned where Starscream was (let alone how he learned that Starscream had been kidnapped in the first place).
  • Wham Line:
    • In-universe, on the disk that Starscream was given:
"Megatronus shortened his name to Megatron before he and Orion appeared before the High Council, and Megatron stated it was his intention to instate himself as the next Prime".
    • Followed shortly by one that's a Wham Line both in and out of universe:
      Soundwave: How...am I not...clear enough on...it's YOU that...I want? Star...scream.
    • A third one follows after Starscream's rescue:
Starscream: My spark is already with someone else.
    • Then in Chapter Eight:
Steve: Commander, I am the reincarnated Skyfire. I'm here to help you remember.
  • Wham Shot: Megatron (actually Makeshift) attacking Soundwave in the bonus for Chapter Four.
  • Will They or Won't They?: Megatron and Starscream. They do.
