Go To

"Lord Wojak" is the name of a meme-themed channel that creates stories using the Wojak meme as the main character. Wojak is an everyman who is friends with the Zoomer and Boomer memes, and is trying to make the most out of life. Unfortunately for him he's stuck as a wage slave with an unpleasant boss and he has the enmity of Igor Bogdanoff, who tries to make his life miserable whenever it seems like he's going to have a good day. To do so he has Chad working for him, though he doesn't have any personal issues with Wojak and is usually friendly to him. At least he has the support of Zoomer who tries to give him upbeat advice, and Boomer who is always mellow so long as he has his beer.

Compare with Dogelore, a Reddit group that makes comics off Doge memes.

Lord Wojak provides examples of:

  • The Alcoholic: Boomer is virtually never seen without a beer in hand, and half the time will mention his love of beer. One of his New Years resolution is to stop drinking...water, and only drink beer.
  • Bad Boss: Wojak's boss is a mean old Boomer who constantly belittles Wojak for even minor mistakes, and shows No Sympathy to whatever misfortune he suffers due to uncaring customers.
  • Bestiality Is Depraved: "Life During No Nut November" has Wojak and boys go to the woods to keep up No Nut November, only to spot a couple girls in the bushes. To their disgust, they were dealing with their boyfriends doing NNN with a horse and a dog.
  • Big Bad: In as much as there is a plot, Bogdanoff is the main antagonist who the "about" section mentions he's always out to ruin the life of Wojak, and will go out of his way to keep him from being happy.
  • Big Beautiful Woman: Many of the female wojaks, especially in more recent thumbnails are chubby with but with a busty and attractive design, and are sometimes in just their undergarments.
  • Big, Fat Future: In "Why McDonalds in 2050 Will Make You Cry" Wojak is sent to the future. When he goes to work at McDonalds he finds that everyone has become fat in the future, to the point that 300 pounds is considered a healthy weight. Even the normally muscular Chad has become very overweight.
  • Butt-Monkey: The general plot of Lord Wojak videos is that the titular Wojak finds himself in some misfortune. Most of the time being abused at work by his customers and/or boss.
  • Cool Old Guy: Boomer's age isn't clear, but he's implied to be in his fifties-early sixties given he's meant to be a boomer and Wojak and Zoomer are characterized as in their twenties-early thirties. Even if his lust for beer sometimes distracts him he's usually supportive of his friends and has an easy-going personality.
  • Fanservice: Some of the thumbnails have revealing and attractive-looking female Wojaks, such as "Life After Sugar Dating" and especially "Day 30 Of No Nut November".
  • Flirty Step Siblings: In "Life of a Pervert" Wojak's new step-sister Wanda teases him for being a pervert after catching him peeking at her mid-undress, before saying that he can watch if he wants to do (which he does).
  • For the Evulz: Why is Bogdanoff trying to keep Wojak as the Butt-Monkey and a wage slave? No reason; he just seems to like tormenting him and keeping him under his thumb.
  • Identical Stranger: Wojak's boss is a Boomer meme, just like his friend Boomer. It's never suggested they're related, and the only difference between the two is that he isn't short like Wojak's friend. Ultimately subverted however, as "Single on Valentine" has Boomer casually mentioned Wojak's boss is his dad.
  • Lovable Jock: Chad is a ladies' man and, well, a chad, but he's usually friendly to Wojak and on good terms with Zoomer and Boomer. Even if he's working for Bogdanoff he's only following orders.
  • Mistaken for Suicidal: After his girlfriend Emily admits she cheated on Wojak 999 times, he jumps off the Eiffel Tower. Zoomer and Boomer think he was Driven to Suicide for a moment, only to realize he was actually using the height to skydive in order to get his mind of being cheated on.
  • Negative Continuity: The majority of the animated stories don't have any connection to one another. Once in a while there are exceptions, though, like Wanda remaining as Wojak's step-sister outside of "Meeting Your Step-Sister".
  • Never Gets Drunk: Beer is almost the only thing that Boomer ever drinks, to the point you'd think he would've succumbed to alcohol poisoning by now. Not only does he have no health issues, he's never even drunk.
  • Non-Standard Character Design: Almost every character is some variation of the wojak-themed meme. The main exception is Bogdanoff, who's a cut-out of a real life picture of the guy.
  • Punch-Clock Villain: While Chad is the loyal minion of Bogdanoff, he never shows any real malice serving him and is friendly to Wojak in a Lovable Jock kind of way.
  • Serial Homewrecker: "Life Of A Sex Doctor" sees Wojak as a legitimate doctor but also a bunch of women sleep with him off-screen to satisfy them when their husband can't. Unfortunately for him one significant other starts to get wise and it's implied he's going to kick his ass.
  • Throw the Dog a Bone: Occasionally things will end well for Wojak. For example, "Day 30 of No Nut November" does have Wojak failing NNN and pissing off his audience but given he ends up in bed with four women that's far from a loss.
  • Yank the Dog's Chain: Despite being initially put off by the Big, Fat Future of 2050 in "Why McDonalds in 2050 Will Make You Cry", it initially seems like a good future for him because his salary has become $10,000 per month. When his salary does come in, though, tax and other reductions reduce his pay to a mere $10.
