NOTE: I'm on indefinite suspension so I am unable to post them for the time being, thus people who seen these works and want to EP these candidates are allowed to do so. I may add EP here now and then but that's only to keep track on candidates I may come across and want to archive out of memory. People can still EP these characters if they want to while I'm on indefinite suspension

    Monster
Okay I may have a candidate to discuss from Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? so let’s discuss it.

What’s The Work?

Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon is a Japanese Light Novel that got adapted to an anime series. Takes place in the fictional city of Orario, the story follows 14-year rookie adventurer, Bell Cranel, as he traverse in countless dungeons to take a level in badass so that he can impress the girl of his dreams, Ais Wallenstein. Throughout the series, Bell has encountered several monsters and villains, including 3 approved CMs, but I think that there’s one more character that I need to bring up for discussion, Jura Halmer.

Who Is He? What Has He Done?

Jura Halmer was a member of the Rudra Familia which in turn was part of an organization containing familias called Evilus, who plotted to wipe out the Astraea Familia that served as a thorn in his side. To his end he arranged the Astraea Familia to gather in one spot where he used explosives to killed them. While the attempt to kill them via explosives failed due to the familia being very powerful, it also summoned an extremely powerful monster called the Juggernaut which killed off the Astraea familia, save for Ryuu, Jura’s forces, and almost everyone in that dungeon floor, with Jura’s only concern is saving himself.

With Ryuu the sole survivor of the Astraea Familia, she vowed revenge on the Jura and his familia where she would kill every member of the Rudra Familia with only Jura surviving her onslaught. Jura would vow revenge on Ryuu, not because she killed his comrades but because she cut off his arm and nearly killed him where he spend his life becoming The Beastmaster forcibly bringing countless monsters under his control, with his ultimate goal is to summon and control the Juggernaut solely because that’s the monster that traumatized Ryuu so much.

Joining a dungeon party, Jura would orchestrate a series of murders once they arrive at Rivira while framing Ryuu for the killings and eventually causes a massacre in 27th floor he paint himself as the sole survivor and pin the blame of the killings on Ryuu to manipulate everyone else in the party to hunt down and kill Ryuu. However Bell grows suspicious of Jura to which Jura reveals his true nature to Bell and Ryuu before he and his remaining allies summon the monsters under his control to kill Bell, Ryuu and the remaining party members.

However, this was all a diversion to hide Jura’s true plans in summing the Juggernaut and bring under his control, gleefully reveal this plan to Ryuu and taking sadistic joy seeing Ryuu breakdown afterwards. After summoning the Juggernaut, Jura attempts to control the monster and use it to kill off Ryuu, Bell, and anyone else he wants. However the Juggernaut proves to be too uncontrollable who then proceeds to kill Jura Halmer.

Freudian Excuse? Redeeming Qualities?

The only thing about Jura was that he was part of the Rudra familia who tried to kill Ryuu’s familia in an ambush which summoned the Juggernaut that slaughter Jura’s and Ryuu’s allies where they are the only ones left alive in the slaughter. However this incident doesn’t give Jura any sympathy since he indirectly summon the monster in his attempts to wipe out Astraea Familia (so yeah he was trying to kill off Ryuu and her allies long before Ryuu attacked him) and shows no care that his own allies were getting killed by the monster, only concerned of trying to stay alive himself,

Jura then claims that Ryuu tried killing him and wiped out his familia allies in her Roaring Rampage of Revenge, which resulting in Jura loosing an arm, but also callously admits that he killed off some of his own allies in his massacres while trying to frame Ryuu for the killings that he has orchestrated, showing that he’s only seeking vengeance for himself and no one else, and his admirations for monsters simply stems to their destructive powers and how he can use them to make Ryuu suffer, rather than showing any genuine care for them. In the end Jura is just a sadistic coward with zero sympathetic and redeeming qualities.

Heinousness

Okay so the work already has 3 approved CMs but they all had more resources and influence given that they are part of active familia, with Ishtar being a goddess in one of them while Phryne and Dix are leaders of their own familia, while it is never said that Jura is never said to be the head of his own familia (simply the sole survivor) and only has about a few men and the monster Jura controls at his disposal.

That said with the resources that Jura does have, I think that he’s able to stand out since he managed to single handedly destroy an entire familia (who Ryuu considers her family) with only Ryuu as the Sole Survivor basically making Jura responsible for Ryuu’s Dark and Troubled Past orchestrated several murders in Rivira before instigating a massacre in the 27th dungeon floor, just so he can frame Ryuu for killing people and manipulate others into persecuting and killing her for him and when that fails he decides to summon monsters, eventually the Juggernaut to do it for him.

Even if Jura didn’t intend to summon The Juggernaut before hand, he did intend to wipe out the Astraea Familia, and he managed to succeed in this goals when his action indirectly summoned the Juggernaut while Jura seemed to admire the carnage the monster inflicted so much, he decided to become a beast-master to bring monsters under his control and make them kill his enemies, eventually deciding to intentionally summon The Juggernaut 5 years later solely to traumatize Ryuu once more and control the beast to kill her. Even when Jura failed to control The Juggernaut resulting the monster killing him, it goes on a rampage killing several others, which wouldn’t have happen had Jura not summon the monster.

Final Verdict?

I’ll leave it up to you guys.

    Bastard
Okay so there’s a candidate I’ve been thinking from a game I finished playing. From what I remembered, he was introduced before but a EP of him wasn’t given since it was said that he would appear in future installments. That said due to the poor sales of the game, future installments are unlikely to happen so I decide to EP him now to see what everyone thinks. Now then the game is called The Callisto Protocol so lets talk about it.

What’s The Work?

The Callisto Protocol is survival horror video released in 2022 which serves as a Spiritual Successor to Dead Space. The premise follows starship captain, Jacob Lee, as he crashes on the Jovian moon Callisto, before getting captured and incarcerated in the infamous Black Iron Prison. There’s is also an outbreak unleashed in Black Iron Prison where an alien virus called the Biophage turns inmates, prison guards, and other personnel into zombie-like beings and the mastermind behind this outbreak is the prison’s warden, Duncan Cole.

Who Is He? What Has He Done?

Duncan Cole is the warden of Black Iron Prison who is revealed to be part of an Ancient Conspiracy called Kallipolis, which is dedicated to advance the evolution of humanity. To their ends Cole and his cult discovered a creature that caused a previous biophage outbreak leading to the destruction of Arcas, where under their company, The United Jupiter Company, decided to build Black Iron prison on top of the ruins, where Cole would then run it.

Cole would then have his prison doctor, Caitlyn Mahler, perform experiments on his prisoners with the Biophage, in Cole’s efforts to create “Subject Zero”, a being infected by the Biophage that still retained human intelligence. This ultimately leads to Cole unleashing a Biophage outbreak in Black Iron Prison by the time Jacob Lee gets put in there, resulting in prisoners and guards becoming infected by the Biophage, becoming zombies, exactly as Cole planned.

As the outbreak occurred he has his holograms appear, where he justifies causing the outbreak, along with many of his unethical actions, by declaring them necessary for the betterment of mankind while eliminating any chance for his inmates and guards to escape his prison; Most notably, Cole has a prison’s defense turret to shoot an escape shuttle Jacob and Dani Nakamura were going to use to escape Black Iron Prison, thus eliminating their only chance of escaping the prison.

Luckily Jacob and Dani are able to reach Cole’s hideout where the former confronts Cole about the alpha subject, whose DNA Jacob needs to cure Dani from the Biophage virus that she just been infected with. Cole once again attempts to justify his actions claiming that they were necessary for human evolution, before summing his alpha subject, Captain Ferris, and have him battle Jacob to see who would emerge alive and victorious. After a long grueling battle, Jacob kills Ferris and extra’s the Alpha DNA sample to which Cole’s offers Jacob a escape pod to leave Black Iron Prison. However Dani shows up and tries to kill Cole only for the latter to be protected by a forcefield, where Jacob decides to inject Dani with the Alpha DNA to cure her from the Biophage virus.

Though Cole is disappointed that he didn’t obtain the Alpha DNA, he merely considers this a minor setback as plans to use the data he collected during the outbreak to initiate the next phase of his plans, where he then activates the prison to self-destruct and bids Jacob and Dani farewell before escaping. Jacob and Dani do find an escape pod, where Jacob sacrifices his life to Dani could escape since the pod only had room for one person, while Cole remains at large to continue his agenda.

Is He Intelligent? Is He Charismatic?

As the warden of a massive prison facility and a high-ranking member of an Ancient Conspiracy, Cole proves himself to be extremely intelligent and cunning using his charisma to persuade scientists, such as Dr. Caitlyn Mahler, to perform experiments on his prisoners to create his perfect alpha while hiding his true goals from the majority of those working in his prison, and use the prison resources to orchestrate a zombie outbreak and prevent anyone from escaping.

It helps that throughout the whole game Cole never loosing his cool or charm, even when he failed to get the alpha DNA where he simply uses the data he collected to start the next phase of Kallipolis plans while escaping the prison completely unscathed making him a Karma Houdini whose still alive to continue pursuing his visions of evolving humanity.

What’s The Competition Like?

Cole is the Big Bad and mastermind behind the Black Iron Prison’s Biophage outbreak with all other characters either being pawns or following his plans willingly . There are other members of Kallipolis that Cole seems to answer too but they aren’t characterized or don’t appear to be considered such, Ferris being Cole’s muscle who lacks his charm, while Mahler only performs her deems under Cole’s commands before performing a Heel–Face Turn, so yeah among all the antagonists, Cole clears the competition here by far.

Is He a Bastard? Is He Too Much of a Bastard?

Well Cole is an Evilutionary Biologist who has his own prisoners experimented on, turning them into zombie-like monsters before unleashing a zombie-outbreak on his prison and deliberately prevents anyone from leaving the prison leading to almost everyone dying there, including hero Jacob, and plans to commit for heinous actions for his dreams of evolving humanity, whether humanity wants to or not, so yeah Cole’s a bastard. That said Cole is sadistic in his crimes, and is a Well-Intentioned Extremist who genuinely wants humanity to evolve so they could better survive in space and with the exception of Jacob, Dani, and Elias Porter, the majority of prisoners he has experimented on or plans to experiment on before unleashing an outbreak on the prison they were being held at, are all criminal and/or murderers who deserved to be there in the first place so yeah, I do not think Cole is too much of bastard.

Final Verdict?

I will leave that for you guys to decide

Okay so I may have a candidate I’m not entirely sure may count but thought to EP him anyway to see what everyone thinks of him. He appears in the video game Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon so let us talk about it.

What’s The Work?

Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon serves a Prequel to the previous Bayonetta games which focuses on Cereza as an adolescence before she became the titular Umbra Witch where she ventures off into the Avalon Forest where she meets the Infernal Demon Cheshire. The two learn to work together to fend off the evil fairies residing in the Avalon Forest all of whom answer to this guy Puca.

Who Is He? What Has He Done?

Puca is an evil Faerie who use to been a brilliant scientist before he decided to become king of the Avalon Forest by killing the original king, Arthur in a coup which also resulted in the devastation of Arthur’s kingdom. Puca would then go after Arthur’s wife and child, where Arthur’s wife Morgana was banished but not before using her magic to guard her son’s body after separating his spirit from it to protect her son, Lukon.

Upset that Puca wasn’t able to acquire Lukon’s powers for himself Puca used the four elemental cores he himself created to placed a seal on Lukon’s body preventing Lukon to retuning to his body, while also trapping Lukon in the Avalon forest prevent Lukon from reuniting with his mother, which causes Morgana’s Start of Darkness resulting in Morgana sending numerous adolescent Umbra Witches to the Avalon Forest to rescue her son, where Puca has his fairies kill these girls, with at least 13 of these little girls’ corpses found with their bodies preserved in crystals.

Speaking of people Puca has killed, Puca has all the humans in the Avalon Forest killed even if they may wander into the forest by complete accident. Most of these casualties are children who would become wisp, with at least 42 confirmed victims, where Puca would then have his minions torment and torture them to power his contraptions and machinery that are keeping him in power in the Avalon Forest which he had turned into an industrialized hellhole, a far cry from the peaceful and flourishing paradise when Arthur was king, while conjuring a magical barrier so no one can leave the Avalon Forrest to escape Puca’s tyrannical rule.

Puca would also unleash the Jabberwock from it’s imprisonment so that he could use the Jabberwock to kill off his enemies. However the Jabberwock proved to be uncontrollable resulting in the dragon reeking chaos and destruction in Avalon Forrest where not only did the beast slaughtered Puca enemies, but also Puca’s minions, much to Puca’s indifference since it didn’t go after him.

When Puca sees Cereza enter the Avalon Forrest, Puca sends his minions to kill her as he did with everyone else who previously wondered into the Avalon Forest only for her to get aid from the Demon Cheshire. This proves to be thorn on Puca’s side whenever Cheshire defends Cereza from his minions so Puca has his minions battle Cheshire when he’s separated from Cereza before offering the demon a way back to Inferno.

However Cheshire would reunite with Cereza, where Puca would reveal himself to the two and send copy of Paradiso angels Puca himself made, to kill the two and when that fail he activated his cape to self destruct causing an explosion that nearly kills Cheshire and Cereza while he escapes via becoming A Twinkle in the Sky.

Puca would return once more and offers Cheshire the same deal to let him return to Inferno, even conjuring a portal to Cheshire’s home, only for Cheshire deciding not to return and protect Cereza when Puca sends his minions to kill her while Cheshire wasn’t looking. In response to Cheshire’s actions, Puca uses his powers to drive Cheshire into a frenzy state so that he can kill Cereza while Puca laughs maniacally until the crazed-Cheshire flings Puca off to the sky.

When Cereza snaps Cheshire out of his crazed state and frees Lukon from Puca’s curse Puca brings a whole army of evil fairies with him so that he can kill the trio and steal Lukon’s powers for himself to use to expand his tyranny outside the Avalon Forrest. However Puca is thwarted by Morgana who wipes out Puca’s entire army before killing him like a bug, where she reveals herself to be Lukon’s mother and the true Big Bad of the game.

Freudian Excuse? Redeeming Qualities?

The only thing about Puca is that he was a brilliant scientist and inventor who decided to become king by killing the previous ruler simply because he is a power-hungry asshole. There’s nothing sympathetic about this, and he cares nothing about the decline of his kingdom or the suffering of his subjects, and deaths during his rule merely viewing the Avalon Forrest as his own property as shown when attempting to kill Cereza and Cheshire immediately after saying “long live the faerie kingdom” he says “longlivepuca”, showing that they only thing that matters to Puca is himself.

Even offering Cheshire a way back to Inferno is pure Pragmatic Villainy as he realizes Cheshire may be too powerful for his army to handle so he’s sending him home to get him out of his kingdom the easiest way for Puca to get rid of a problem and even then Puca sends his minions to kill Cereza when’s Cheshire’s back is turn, where Puca attempts to brainwash Cheshire into killing his friend when he decides to stay and protect Cereza, uncaring on whether Cheshire himself would die or not.

Other Militating Factors?

So the one seemingly problem for Puca is that he can be quite Laughably Evil, after he introduces himself to the heroes. That said much of the humor coming from Puca comes from his height, bizarre way of speaking, and having been A Twinkle in the Sky, while all the atrocities that he had committed in the game are all still played completely serious, especially regarding what he did to Lukon and his family to which Puca earns Cereza’s contempt.

Hell, he always had an very menacing aura within his presence wherever he went prior to his proper introduction and even after his reveal he still has a menace that is treated in serious light, despite his small stature and odd manerisms, especially in the instances where he drives Cheshire into a frenzy state and laugh maniacally when he has Cheshire kill Cereza and later ordering his entire army to kill Cereza and her friends so that Puca can claim Lukon’s power for himself, making Puca a very good example of Beware the Silly Ones.

Heinousness

I am perfectly aware that the Bayonetta series has a ridiculously high heinous standard, which is why Loptr got cut due to the Singularity out-heinous-sing him while the Starter Villain of the first game reveals himself to be a piece of work himself. That said all of those villains were gods, with even Fortitudo being a powerful being himself despite being a Starter Villain, while Puca himself is not really all that powerful being a Non-Action Big Bad turned Big Bad Wannabe whose even shorter than an adolescent Cereza which is why he wants to steal Lukon’s powers for himself.

Yet despite his weak stature whose influence is limited to the Avalon Forest he’s manages to give himself quite the unique niche within the heinous standard at least in my opinion given that everything bad happening in the game aside from Jeanne’s sides troy is a result of Puca’s actions.

To summarized he killed the previous king, cursed his son, caused Morgana’s Start of Darkness, turn the once flourishing Avalon Forrest into an industrialized Hellhole where chaos and murders occurs throughout the forrest as a result of his terrible rule with much his casualties being just children, including all the adolescent Umbra witches Morgana sent to the forrest and even children who are pure of heart (so completely innocent children) whose spirits he then has tormented for eternity solely for Puca’s benefit, and even drives Cheshire into nearly kill Cereza, so I think Puca is able to stand out.

Final Verdict?

I’ll leave that to you guys

    Bastard
Okay so I may have a candidate I’m not entirely sure may count but thought to EP her anyway to see what everyone thinks of her. She appears in the video game Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon so let us talk about it.

The two learn to work together to fend off the evil fairies residing in the Avalon Forest all of whom answer to Puca. That said Puca isn’t the candidate I’ll be discussing but rather it is the true Big Bad Morgana

Who Is She? What Has She Done?

Morgana is a powerful Umbra Witch who fell in love with Arthur, King of The Avalon Forrest, and together they had a son Lukaon. However, their bliss would soon end when Puca killed Arthur and took over the Avalon Forrest where Morgana would be banished from the forrest while getting separated from her son but not before separating her son’s spirit from his body so Puca wouldn’t steal the boy’s powers for himself.

To save her son whose been cursed and in trapped in the Avalon Forrest, Morgana took in many girls and trained them to become Umbra Witches before sending them into the Avalon Forrest to free her son. However for the girls Morgana trained to save her son, they would have to sacrificed their demon companions which the girls refused to do so having grown fond of them, while the girls all got killed by Puca’s minions.

Morgana would eventually take in the adolescent Cereza in and train her the Umbra Arts, especially on how to summon a demon, while manipulating Cereza into wanting to be to the Avalon Forrest, by infecting Cereza with dreams of her imprisoned mother, while being cold to Cereza and using Reverse Psychology saying, not to go to the forrest, so that Cereza would be inspired to go to the forrest to impress Morgana where she would eventually summon a demon and meet Lukaon, exactly as Morgana planned.

Cereza would eventually contact Morgana when the former arrives in the Avalon Forrest where Morgana does her best to assist Cereza in transversing the forrest, find Lukaon, and get the four elemental needed to free her son from his imprisonment all while complementing Cereza for summoning her demon, Cheshire, since a demon’s sacrifice is also needed for her son’s freedom.

After Cereza and Cheshire rescue Lukaon and flees a massive Faerie army led by Puca, Morgana appears and annihilates the whole army before killing Puca where she reveals herself to be Lukaon’s mother and the mastermind behind Cereza's journey into the Avalon Forrest before she attempts to kill her student and sacrifice her demon so that she can save her son, using the demon, Lex Talionis.

However, Cereza is able to defeat Morgana in a long grueling battle where Morgana embraces her son one final time before he disappears from existence, while getting ready to be dragged into Inferno, a fate that eventually befalls for all Umbra Witches, while Cereza and Cheshire say farewell to each before Cereza goes off on a journey of her own.

Is She Intelligent? Is She Charismatic?

As Cereza’s teacher and an experienced Umbra Witch, Morgana has proven herself to be extremely intelligent and charismatic with vast knowledge of demons and magic giving her the knowledge of how to break her sons curse, while manipulating Cereza (and many other girls before her) to carry out the deed for her since Morgana was exiled, with Morgana exploiting Cereza’s desire to impress her teacher and see her mother to get Cereza to do exactly what she wants.

In fact the only reason why her plans failed was that Cereza couldn’t sacrifice the demon to save Lukaon having bonded with Cheshire and even then Morgana takes matters into her own hands where after they leave the forrest Morgana effortlessly kills Puca and his army before attempting to kill Cereza and sacrifice Cheshire herself.

My only concern for Morgana is that she begins screaming in agony when tendrils drag her down to Inferno, but given prior to that she’s fully aware what her fate will be after getting defeated by Cereza and Cheshire yet doesn’t throw any fits or made no fuss or complaints about what will come for her simply spending her final moments embracing her son before getting ready to be dragged to Inferno, suggesting that getting sent to Inferno is extremely painful rather than suffering any breakdowns, If think it is not too militating for Morgana. If you guys are curious here’s game’s Final Boss & Ending walkthrough regarding Morgana’s final moments.

What’s The Competition Like?

While we already have Rodin as a qualifier, he’s different from Morgana in that he’s an ally, not an enemy while all other Big Bads (Father Balder, Loptr, The Singularity) were too evil or had some militating factors (at least Balder has them), while Morgana is the least evil and most sympathetic among the main villains, while using more of her planning and manipulation to get what she wants, so yeah Morgana clears the competition here. Also no Puca doesn’t count he’s too evil and Morgana defeats him easily.

Is She a Bitch? Is She Too Much of a Bitch?

Well Morgana did send girls to the Avalon Forrest which led to their deaths, pretend to be Cereza’s ally to manipulate her into going to the Forrest knowing full well that she’ll be put in grave danger and would have to sacrifice the demon she had befriended to break Lukaon’s curse and when Cereza failed to do so, Morgana attempts to kill Cereza and Cheshire herself, so yeah I’d say that she is a bitch.

That’s said Morgana is far from the worse foe Cereza had to face, having a husband and son she genuinely loves with her entire motives and decent to villainy revolving around saving her son from his curse and when she failed in to task she gives Lukaon one final embrace before they both disappear from existence, so yeah not too much of a bitch.

Final Verdict?

I’ll leave that for you guys to decide

    Monster

Okay I’ve got a few candidates from Yellowstone and it’s spinoff. My first candidate comes from the OG!Series so let’s talk about it

What’s The Work?

Yellowstone is an American Neo-Western drama television series created by Taylor Sheridan and John Linson. The show revolves around the Dutton family who owns the largest ranch in Montana, the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch, commonly referred to as "the Yellowstone". The plot revolves around family drama at the ranch and the bordering Broken Rock Indian Reservation, Yellowstone National Park, and developers. That said there’s a Serial Killer that shows up in one episode I think is worth Eping who simply goes by the name Peter.

Who Is he? What Has he Done?

Peter is an employee of Turek Natural Gas who appears in Season 3 episode “I Killed a Man Today”. Of course that's just a cover to hide his true profession as a Serial Killer who finds women (mostly Indian women) lost in the roads of Montanan where he offers them ride to his car where he would take them to the middle of nowhere where Peter would murder these women them before dumping their bodies the vast undeveloped lands in Montana. It is also implied that he rapes these women before killing them.

Since the fields of Montana are vast and undeveloped, none of these women’s corpses were ever found where they rotted until becoming skeletons as Peter continued to find more women to kill adding to his body count, with this going on for so long that the Indian Reservation Police in Montana had to convince an outsider Monica Long Dutton to become bait to lure Peter.

After Monica is convinced she pretends to be a lost hitchhiker who Peter finds and takes to his truck. After Peter takes Monica to his hunting grounds Monica fights back before escaping only for Peter to recapture Monica where he proceeds to strangle her attempting to rape and kill her. Luckily an Indian Sniper kills Peter before he could rape Monica where he Indian Reservation Police finds the bones of Peter’s victims.

Freudian Excuse? Redeeming Qualities? Other Militating Factors?

He’s just some perverted Serial Killer who has no friends or family to care for that just so happened to pop up in a single episode and establishes that he enjoy killing (even raping) innocent women for sheer pleasure and thrill and is given enough screen time to establish himself a personality from maintaining a polite and friendly man to lure Monica into his car before showing his sadistic side when he takes joy strangling Monica seemingly attempting to rape her, while there are bones in the fields to show that he’s done this many times before.

Heinousness

I’m assuming that we haven’t discussed the Yellowstone franchise in full detail so let me try explain its heinous standard. While the original show is still ongoing the basic premise is that both the Dutton family (the protagonists) and their enemies will do morally unscrupulous methods to get what they want (including murder to which the Duttons dump the bodies of all the people they killed into an area they call "the train station", while also branding their workers to ensure loyalty) bringing about the Grey-and-Gray Morality.

Then you have the things occurring in 1883 where Duttons and European settles travel to Oregon are constantly attacked by bandits and Indians leading to their numbers dwindling while a group of white men massacre a native American tribe but none of these groups have an established leader. That’s not even getting to 1923 which I’ll go over when I propose my candidate from there.

That said Peter is just some one-shot baddie whose completely divorced from the Dutton vs. enemy conflict being an Outside-Context Problem and doesn’t even have a fraction of the above resources being just one guy with a truck who exploits undeveloped land to dump countless bodies of innocent women after he’s done killing them, with implications that he rapes his victims prior as shown with his actions against Monica, and while we don’t have an exact body count, we see many bones in Peter’s area along with the fact that he’s evaded the police for so long they had to convince Monica to help them catch Peter which confirms that Peter has a very high body count. The fact that he’s the only Serial Killer within the show makes him standout even more.

Final Verdict?

I will leave that decision for you guys to decide.

    Monster
Okay so there’s one character from Yellowstone that I’m not entirely sure of but decided to EP him anyway to see from everyone else thinks so here he is Terrell Riggins

Who Is He? What Has He Done?

Terrell Riggins is a criminal serving life sentence at Montana DOC who also happens to leader of a notorious white supremacist militia called the Montana Free Militia who has caused countless deaths and other criminal acts, like kidnapping, of throughout Montana whether for money, spreading white supremacy, or some other reason.

Terrell would also let other people hire his gang to let them cause more countless deaths and tragedies, with letting the Beck Brothers hire his gang in season 2 being one example where under the Beck Brothers command the Montana Free Militia kidnapped John Dutton’s grandson, Tate, leading to Tate getting severely traumatized while also going after John and his family, including John’s daughter Beth whom they severely brutalized after killing her secretary and killed Dan Jenkins who allied with John at the time.

Terrell would also be hired by his former inmate Garrett Randall to have his militia eliminate the Dutton family which he orders his subordinate Chester Spears to organize the attack. This leads to Terrell’s militia to nearly kill the Dutton family (except for Jamie) in coordinated attacks which lead to countless of innocent people getting killed in the crossfire, including an innocent mother and child who John tried to help, and Beth’s new secretary when a bomb made by Terrell’s militia goes goes off blowing up Beth’s building with Beth being heavily scarred after barely surviving the explosion.

Jamie would eventually discover that Terrell had shared a cell with his biological father, Garrett Randall, where Jamie offers Terrell full immunity if he tells him who hired Terrell to orchestrate the attack on his adoptive family. However, Terrell refuses to tell Jamie who hired him to attack the Duttons until Jamie tells Terrells that he can put Terrell in protective custody with a good chance to get transferred into a medium security facility with much better accommodations and far for Montana to which Terrell, without any hesitation, sells out his employer’s identity and latter tells Beth about Jamie out of fear leading to Beth forcing Jamie to kill his biological father.

Freudian Excuse? Redeeming Qualities?

The only thing known about Terrell Riggins’ past is that he was from Iowa, was a green Beret before getting honorably discharge, relocated to Montana, and receive a life sentence in prison where he met Garrett. Whatever quality that he might have had that gotten him an honorable discharge, he’s never shown any of them here in the show itself.

It is also never shown to care for anyone but himself with his loyalty to Garrett simply stemming down to the fact he paid him to attack the Dutton family, and when confronted about the attack Terrell tells them that Garrett hired him to carry out the attack all for better prison accommodations and save himself from their wrath showing Terrell that he’s a Dirty Coward only out for himself.

Heinousness

This is my only concern regarding Terrell. Unlike Peter, Terrell is leader of a recurring antagonistic faction in the show so he seemingly has more resources than Peter. That said Terrell is confide to a prison cell while Peter is outside, free to do what he wants, and Terrell only appears in two episodes (so only one episode more than Peter), while he definitely has less resources than the Dutton who wipe out Terrell’s gang when they learn of their attack.

That said for someone who only appears in two episodes he’s quite important in the narrative having a Small Role, Big Impact while all of the murders and atrocities committed by the Montana Free Militia, directly and indirectly, be traced back to Terrell. While Terrell has a rather passive role in season 2 where he lends his gang to the Beck Brothers, he takes a more direct role at the end of season 3 and beginning of season 4 where he order his gang to kill off the whole Dutton clan, while even letting innocent people get killed in the crossfire, including children, and is one of the few people in the Yellowstone franchise that is willing to harm and kill children, whether it’d be intentionally or indirectly.

Chester Spears organized the attack for Terrell but he mentions having children he loves and sells out his whole gang when his enemies threaten to go after them, while Garrett did hire Terrell and his militia to attack the Duttons making Garrett The Man Behind the Man he does genuinely love his son Jamie where killed his wife when she neglected Jamie while he was still an infant, instructed Terrell not to have his gang go after Jamie and admits he’s proud of Jamie before Jamie is forced to kill him. Also no the Beck Brothers don’t count as they seem to care for one another. So yes I think Terrell does just enough to stand out.

Final Verdict?

I’ll leave it to you guys.

    Monster

Now then here's the candidate from 1923 so let’s talk about that show now

What’s The Work?

1923 is a spin-off of Yellowstone, specifically serving as a Interquel taking place after the first prequel 1883 but before the original series. The premise of course takes place in the year 1923 where it follows the Dutton family as they experience events including Prohibition, drought, and the early stages of the Great Depression that affected Montana before the 1929 Stock Market Crash. Now then my candidate is actually a minor character, but I think she’s able to stand out Sister Alice.

Who Is She? What Has She Done?

Sister Alice is a nuns of an Indian Boarding School where girls of Native-American heritage are forced to go to where Alice and the other nuns would strip these girls of their native culture and identity and convert them into serfs, aka submissive wives for abusive white men, where Alice and the other nuns would subject these girls to live in horrid conditions, with the nuns serving them food filled with maggots, beat them for even the most minor of offenses, even willing to inflict torture with one method being imprisoning these girls in boxes where they must endure scorching heat. Many of these girls end up dying as a result with Renaud confirm that very few survive the ordeal.

If that weren’t enough Alice reveals herself to be a Serial Rapist who takes advantage of her status as a nun and the horrific system Father Renaud established in his school to molest and rape the girls, where she is shown to be molesting Teonna Rainwater while bathing her with shocks Sister Mary, and afterwards along with the other nuns give Teonna a steel wool scrub, it’s metal wires taking the form of a sponge so yeah it causes Teonna immense pain. Eventually, Teonna has enough of the abuse where she decides to kill Alice and Mary before leaving the boarding school.

Freudian Excuse? Redeeming Qualities?

She just a sexual predator who exploits the systematic abuse the Indian girls are subjected too already to molest and rape them without anyone noticing all solely to fulfill her lust and while she may come across as more soft-spoken than the other nuns, especially compared to Sister Mary, this is merely just to hide her true predatory nature and take advantage of the girls' vulnerability while never shows any care or concern for them or her fellow nuns. She’s got zero excuse, reasons, or redeeming qualities here.

Heinousness

1923 features arguably some of the most evil characters in the Yellowstone franchise, Donald Whitfield whose the Big Bad and a billionaire tycoon who has two prostitutes beat each other for his amusement (he’s still active and with his resources he can do much worse) and Father Renaud the Arc Villain for Teonna Rainwater’s storyline whose easily heinous for this trope having been the one who establishes the system where he has all the nuns, including Alice beat and torture the Indian Girls in his attempt to destroy their cultural heritage and convert them into serfs, and he himself willing to kill any who defy him where he's shown beating one girl to death

I was also planning to EP Father Renaud but the season 1 finale shows him asking that one of his priest who was killed by Teonna be buried due to being a child of god suggest that he may care for his priests (not his nuns however since he beats one of them up) so I’ll put him on the waitlist as well (he may shed that quality and become a Bad Boss during his pursuit of Teonna).

That said with what little screen time and resources (being just a nun) Sister Alice has, I’d say she’s able to standout where she willingly takes part in beating and abusing the girls, and is the only one of the nuns to be a rapist completely by her own choice (rape is an extremely rare crime) where no one told her to sexually abused adolescent girls, and Alice is even seen molesting Teonna, an act that shocks Mary whose’s Teonna main abuser and the one primarily seen beating the girls, with Teonna confirming that Alice had raped her, while also taking part in giving Teonna a torturous steel wool bath just to hurt her, which leads to Teonna killing Alice along with Mary.

Final Verdict?

I’ll leave it to you guys.

    Monster

Hey guys so finished the book The Song of Achilles and I think I may have found a potential keeper so lets talk about it.

What’s The Work?

The Song of Achilles is a 2011 novel written by Madeline Miller. Taking place in Ancient Greece It is basically a retelling of the Achilles’s adventure described from The Iliad but they are told through Patroclus’ eyes who is explicit depicted as Achilles lover. The two would form a friendship and eventually a romance before the two die where my candidate makes his actual appearance, Pyrrhus.

Who Is He? What Has He Done?

Pyrrhus, also named Neoptolemus, is the son of Achilles and Deidamia who is taken by Thetis, a sea nymph and Achilles’s mother, who raises Pyrrhus in the seas caverns. Growing up to be a bloodthirsty and sociopathic warrior at the age of twelve, Pyrrhus was determined to surpass his father in fame and legend, where he leads a siege in the city Troy where Pyrrhus kills countless soldiers and innocents, eventually killing the king slaughtering the royal family.

Pyrrhus also made the woman of the royal family his sex slaves including Andromache who he made his sex-slave after brutally killing her infant son right in front of her and Briseis whom Pyrrhus attempts to rape before killing her when she tries to escape while deciding to declare her killing a Human Sacrifice to Achilles despite the fact that Achilles explicitly did not want human sacrifices.

Speaking of Human Sacrifices, Pyrrhus has been giving them to Achilles to boost his own luck in the battlefield with Pyrrhus saying that Briseis was his final sacrifice for the moment despite the fact that this isn’t what Achilles wanted while completely ignoring what Achilles’s friends told Pyrrhus what he truly wanted; having Patroclus' name inscribed with Achilles own name and as a result of Pyrrhus refusing to do so Patroclus is unable to reunite his beloved Achilles in the Underworld.

Eventually Pyrrhus would receive his Karmic Death when, Orestes aka the whom Andromache was going to marry before Pyrrhus kidnapped and rapped, kills him, for Thetis comes to recognize what a monster Pyrrhus truly was and after Patroclus’s spirit pleads with her decides to write Patroclus' name in Achilles’ tomb thus allowing Patroclus to reunite with Achilles.

Freudian Excuse? Redeeming Qualities?

All that’s known about Pyrrhus was that a) he was Achillies and Deidamia’s son as a result go Thetis’ manipulations and b) Thetis decides to take Pyrrhus to raise him in a sea cavern in hopes that Pyrrhus will become a great warrior. That said there isn’t any evidence that Thetis ever mistreated or abuse Pyrrhus under her care where all she really did to Pyrrhus was stroke his ego on how he can become a better warrior than his father and never intended for Pyrrhus to become the monster that he is where she’s horrified with what Pyrrhus has done while also making it clear that Pyrrhus chose to become a monster.

Pyrrhus himself is never shown to love and care Thetis, having never once interacted or mentioned her in the book, or anyone for that matter including his own father where Pyrrhus only values Achilles fame a warrior that he hopes to surpass while ignoring everything else about him especially is it effects Pyrrhus ego surrounding that fame, including refusing to make a memorial to both him and Patroclus despite that being what Achilles wanted while having a human sacrifice on his tomb which would disgust Achilles.

Heinousness

While Achilles and his allies did attack Troy before, they only ever killed soldiers during their siege which contrasts to Pyrrhus explicitly killing countless of innocent people leaving a trail of blood throughout Troy in what is basically a needless massacre while going as far as to slaughter the royal family including brutally killing an infant which no other person in this book has done while keeping Andromache and Bresis as his sex slaves raping the former and killing Bresies as a senseless Human Sacrifice. In fact Pyrrhus is the only character who deliberately kills innocent people with he book making itself clear that Pyrrhus stands out as the one truly evil and monstrous character in the Grey-and-Gray Morality conflict. Not bad for a twelve-year old.

Final Verdict?

I will leave that decision for you guys to decide.

Okay with Solar Opposites covered on the CM side, I found a few candidates worthy for the MB after watching season 4 so let’s talk about it.

What’s The Work?

Solar Opposites is a sci-fi animated series with the premise being that a family of aliens left their planet Shlorp before it was destroyed by an astroid where they arrive on Earth and try to fit in our society with pending results. However I will be talking about The Wall Story Arc where the alien Yumyulack has shrank numerous people and putting them in The Wall where the shrunken humans create a new home. The Wall Story has given get a CMs but now it’s time for some MBs to have their spotlight, starting with Cherie.

Who Is She? What Has She Done?

Cherie was a chef at Benni-Hana who is one of many people who that was shrunk down and sent to The Wall by Yumyulack, (Yumyulack’s reasons for doing so what that Cherie served him shrimp despite Yumyulack saying he didn’t want any), where she would witness the Duke’s tyrannical rule over the Wall where she and Tim would rally the oppressed citizens of the Wall against the Rebellion and lead a rebellion to put an end to The Duke’s Rule, while also hooking up and having sex.

Together Cherie and Tim lead their rebellion to battle the Duke and his forces eventually claiming the Wall for the people and forcing the Duke to leave the Wall. It is where Cherie and Tim learn of that the Duke had an escape hole he kept hidden. Cherie wanted to announce the hole so everyone could leave but she was betrayed by Tim who stabbed her before throwing her out of the Wall so that he could declare himself ruler, while painting Cherie a martyr who died.

Luckily Cherie had a Jolly rancher piece she kept underneath her clothes (either using it for armor or food) where she would encounter the Duke outside of the Wall where the two decide to work together to survive the wilderness. Eventually Cherie learns that she’s pregnant with Tim’s child which she gives birth to while The Duke sacrifices his life to fend against a possum to protect Cherie and her newborn daughter having grown fond of Cherie and regretting his actions in the wall.

Cherie would then travel to what she believed is a Wallgreens only to learn that the “Wallgreens” was merely a billboard, thus Cherie decides to travel back into the Wall surviving through determination and willpower eventually succeeding in infiltrating the Wall while blending in so no one knows she’s really alive while convincing Halk that Tim is evil and must form a coup to bring Tim down make him face justice for his actions.

Cherie would rally other people to join her to overthrow Tim where they infiltrate his hideout. They would then discover Tim is sick from lead poisoning where Cherie brings Tim to the Bowenian Church to recover due to Cherie wanting Tim to face justice. However Tim dies under the Bowenian Churches care where Cherie and her allies decide to form a council in ruling the Wall for the people’s sake.

Cherie would eventually learn of a plot to unleash murderous mosquitoes to the rest of The Wall where she decides to lead a group to lower levels of the Wall kill off the mosquito army despite learning that they could provide a rich food source for the Wall still decides to destroy the mosquitoes so that they couldn’t pose a threat to her daughter, Pezlie, and with Halk’s sacrifice Cherie is able to do so.

However When Cherie returns to the Wall she learns that the Bowinian Church led by Sister Sisto has used her baby Pezlie, whom Cherie put under their care, to brainwash the masses into their control where Sisto brands Pezlie eventually leading to the events where the Cherie’s council and the Church put up barriers to establish their own side and control within the Wall.

However her daughter is trapped in the Church’s side of the Wall where Cherie has a mole planted in the Wall who keeps tabs on the Church and her child so she knows of Sisto plans and when she’ll attack so that she may get the approval of her council to go to the other side to rescue Pezlie.

However the council refuses to give Cherie approval since Sisto hasn’t attacked them yet, leading to Cherie taking drastic measure by blowing up the gambol advance control the Wall’s whether and framing the Church for the attack leading to the council giving Cherie permission to infiltrate the opposing side while taking two other other to help her in her rescue mission.

When Cherie and her allies would go to the other side of the Wall and retrieve a message given from her mole. However the message was torn where Cherie is led to believe that killing Sisto would save Pezlie only to later learn from her mole, Montez that his actual message was to rescue Pezlie and not kill Sisto in fear it would make her a martyr.

That message was deliberately torn by her two allies who wanted to kill Sisto and nearly succeeded in killing Sisto and Pezlie whom Sisto was still holding until Cherie and Montez prevented them from doing so by killing them. Cherie and Montez would then escape Sisto’s side during the Chaos, where Cherie decides to leave The Wall with her child knowing someone will use Pezlie for their own selfish purposes.

Montez also decides to join Cherie and Pezlie in escaping while taking everyone in their side with them where they form a community outside The Wall while also setting up traps for Sisto and her forces before trapping them all inside the Wall so they are unable to pursue them.

Is She Intelligent? Is She Charismatic?

As a co-founder of the initial resistance, Cherie grows to be cunning, charismatic and unscrupulous through time doing whatever it takes to ensure freedom for the people living in the Wall and later doing whatever it takes that ensure het child is safe influencing countless people to join her causes, orchestrating a devastating plan to rescue her baby, and manipulating the council into letting Cheria enact her mission.

While things don’t always go her way, (Tim betraying Cherie, Sisto stealing her baby for her own purposes, her allies intentionally hiding the last bit of info her mole sent her, etc) Cherie always manages to find a way to outmaneuver whatever obstacle she faces (Cherie keeping a jolly rancher that protects her from being fatally stabbed before sneaking into the wall to overthrow Tim, orchestrating a rescue mission to save her baby from Sisto while sabotaging the Wall’s heat source and frame Sisto for it to manipulate the council into giving her permission to enact her rescue mission, stopping her allies from killing Sisto and potentially make her a martyr before escape the Wall), and it’s through her wits, determination, and ability to think on the fly that allows her to achieve everything she wanted; live a peacefully live raising her daughter.

What’s The Competition Like?

Cherie might be the the most cunning, charismatic, and morally complex character in the whole Story Arc. Other characters are either too either monstrous for this trope (The Duke and the approved CMs) or too heroic and kind (Halk and Nova). Tim could have counted meeting the bastard, manipulativeness, and the well-intentioned qualities but ultimately dies a broken and deluded man so he’s disqualified, while there one other person who may also count that I plan to EP (Montez), but for here Cherie clears the competition.

As for characters outside the Wall no one counts for the moment with the Shlorpians having militating factors such as, Terry’s dumb, Jesse’s a Nice Girl, Korvo The Smart Guy is too much of a Butt-Monkey, and Yumyulack being way too petty (he shrinks down innocent people to send to the Wall for completely minor slights), while Silvercops Story Arc features massively corrupt cops, a Manipulative Bastard suffering an Undignified Death, and the main character of that story arc, Glenn, not reaching the same level of bastard that Cherie has, so again Cherie clears the competition here.

Is She a Bitch? Is She Too Much of a Bitch?

Well Cherie does try to overthrow a ruler that actually has made everything peaceful within the Wall which gave Sisto the opportunity to take over, tries and succeeds in exterminating a who colony of mosquitos despite being aware that they provide an important food source for The Wall, destroys the Wall heat source leading to everyone in the Wall suffering freezing temperatures before sealing the wall so that everyone on Sisto’s side is trapped and freeze to death while Cherie and everyone in her side escapes (Cherie even sets up many traps which kills off many of Sisto's soldiers) so yeah I’d say Cherie is a Bitch.

That said Cherie has many redeeming qualities that prevents her from being too much of a bitch. Cherie values freedom for everyone in the Wall, shows disgust at what some the villains have done, her reason for wiping out a mosquito colony despite being aware that they provide a vast food source was to protect her baby from getting killed by them, and her reasons for sabotaging the Wall’s heat source and frame Sisto for it to convince her council to let Cherie rescue Pezlie from Sisto who by the way was planning to cause the Wall’s freezing temperature herself by continuously decreasing the temperature using the thermostat, with Cherie’s own reasons for sealing the Wall before escaping so that Sisto won’t be able to pursue her while also letting everyone on Cherie’s side to come with her so that they can live peaceful lives outside The Wall

Final Verdict?

I'll leave that up for you guys to decide.

Okay here’s my 2nd candidate from Solar Opposites debuting in season 4 here’s Montez.

Who is He? What Has He Done The Work?

Montez is a member of Cherie’s resistance who went to the Bowinian Church’s side to spy on them, where Montez would relay any information or activities to Cherie’s council regarding the Church, namely Sister Sisto and Cherie’s baby Pezlie that Sisto is keeping prisoner, to find a way to rescue Pezlie and put an end to Sisto’s rule in The Wall.

Eventually rising the Church’s ranks to become Sisto’s second-in-command, Montez would perform any task Sisto gives him in order to maintain his cover and Sisto’s trust in him even if that includes killing any one Sisto wants before nailing their heads onto Sisto’s side of The Wall, including a guy that learn about The Wall slowly decreasing in temperature.

When Cherie and her two allies sneak into Sisto’s side of the Wall, Montez attempts to send them a message on how to rescue Pezlie but warns them to not kill Sisto in fear that this will make her a martyr. Cherie would get Montez’s message but it would be ripped so she doesn’t know the entirety of Montez’s message and thus thinks that she will need to kill Sisto in order to rescue her daughter.

However Montez shows up to explain his full message to Cherie where Cherie’s two allies reveals that they deliberately ripped apart Montez message because they wanted to kill Sisto, regardless of consequences, causing Cherie and Montez to fight and kill their former allies when they decide to kill Sisto while she's still holding Pezlie, before rescuing Pezlie and escape Sisto’s side of the Wall.

When Cherie decides to leave the Wall with her daughter in order to keep her safe, Montez volunteers to help her escape, while taking everyone on Cherie’s side with them in their escape and it’s implied that he helped Cherie set up traps for Sisto and her forces before sealing their escape route shut so that no one on Sisto side can pursue them, where Montez helps Cherie raise her daughter and build a community outside the Wall.

Is he Intelligent? Is he Charismatic?

As The Mole implanted into Sisto’s side of The Wall Montez reveals himself to be very cunning and charismatic, being able to rise within Sisto’s ranks before becoming her second-in-command and gain her trust while able to maintain his cover and relay information to his allies on the other side, and Montez does it all without ever loosing his cool.

By the time Sisto finds out about Montez true allegiance, it’s already too later and Montez has already escaped her side with Cherie and Pezlie before helping Cherie escape along with everyone on their before sealing the Wall so they can’t follow them outside of the Wall, where Montez helps Cherie raise her daughter in their new community basically getting what he wanted.

What’s The Competition Like?

If anyone else can qualify as this beside Cherie it’s Montez since he works together with Cherie as her partner in relaying messages, organizing plans and escapes, inducing one where they escape from the Wall and take everyone from their side with them, before Montez settles down and helps Cherie raise her daughter being the other bastard aside from Cherie to get what he wanted, so yeah I’d say he clears the competition here.

Is he a bastard? Is he Too Much of a bastard?

Montez did kill anyone Sisto wanted before nailing their heads on her side, including an innocent man who figured out that the Wall’s temperature is decreasing, prevents two people from assassinating Sisto, despite Sisto being a horrific tyrant, helps Cherie set up traps that leads to much of Sisto’s forces getting killed when they stumble upon them, and it’s heavily implied he helped Cherie seal up the Wall leading to everyone still in there to freeze to death, hadn’t Jesse stopped by a put the temperature back to normal, so yeah I’d say he’s a bastard.

That said Montez never goes too far with his actions. He takes no pleasure in killing whoever Sisto wanted only doing so to maintain his cover and keep the trust he established with Sisto, does want to find a way to rescue Pezlie from Sisto’s clutches and free everyone from Sisto’s rule, his reasons for not wanted to kill Sisto (at least at the moment) is out of fear that she may end up becoming a martyr, and takes everyone on his side with him and Cherie when they escape where they form a peaceful community outside the Wall with Montez helping Cherie raise her daughter, so yeah not too much of a bastard.

Final Verdict?

I'll leave it up for you guys.
