    • White Night: When describing just how rarely Mac talks Harry says that if money were words, Mac would make Scrooge look like Monty Hall.
    • The short story "Even Hand" is from Marcone's perspective and gives an amusing bit of insight into Hendrick's taste in literature. When imaging what quote Hendricks is going to critique his current plan with Marcone goes over some Hendricks has used before in his head, including "Are there no prisons" from A Christmas Carol.

  • In Language Arts, Charles's fourth grade teacher points to each child's assigned seat like the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come.
  • Goodnight, Mr. Tom has the children of Little Weirwold, both locals and evacuees, put on a production of the story at Christmas 1939. This production is complicated by the fact that many of the evacuees' parents are taking their children home due to there being no immediate (at the time) threat from Germany, meaning the roles played by evacuees have to be recast.

Live-Action TV

  • Arrow: "Three Ghosts", aired just before Christmas, is a heavy handed non-Christmas A Christmas Carol plot, as Oliver hallucinates the titular ghosts throughout the episode: Shado is "Past", and the horrors of his time at the island; Slade is Present, representing his current crisis of confidence and the Big Bad of the season, as revealed at the episode's end, while Tommy is "Future", and the hope for Oliver that he can, in fact, become a hero.
  • Castle: Castle grants Alexis permission to see Fame with her boyfriend "but I have dibs on A Christmas Carol." Alexis' actor, Molly Quinn, did voicework for the film.
  • Mork & Mindy: In the episode "Twelve Angry Appliances", Mork disguises himself as the "Ghost Of Appliances Past".
  • Northern Exposure: In "Shofar, So Good", Joel fasts in preparation for Yom Kippur, and suffers a hallucination of his childhood Rabbi, appearing as the spirits of Yom Kippur Past, Present, and Future, showing him visions of how his behavior affects those around him. There's even expies of Ignorance and Want, included!
  • St. Elsewhere: In "Good Vibrations", Ebenezer and Marley Wright are named after Ebenezer Scrooge and Jacob Marley from A Christmas Carol.
  • The West Wing: In the season two episode "18th and Potomac", Mrs. Landingham is going to buy herself a new car for the first time since her husband died. Charlie tries to get her to get whatever discounts she can, but she insists on paying the sticker price. When President Bartlet hears of this, he greets her by calling her, "Bob Cratchit."

  • The Order of the Stick: In the "Stick Tales" stories there's a quick shout-out to A Christmas Carol.
Greenhilt: Start talking about why you're haunting the castle, and it better not be because I've lost the true spirit of Christmas.

    Greenhilt: NOT THE POINT.
