Part three of the final tetralogy

The battle on the island of the Crimson Claws rages, more furious than ever. Goultard and Dally have to confront the seemingly unstoppable and allmighty Rushu, while in the deep caverns beneath the island, the two-on-two struggle which sees Yugo and Phaeris fighting against an Anathar-possessed Adamai and Qilby, the traitor, resumes. While Goultard prepares to engage the Shushu monarch in a heated duel, Yugo has to go all out to stop Adamai and make sure Qilby can't carry out his plans.

Tropes:

  • 11th-Hour Superpower: Thanks to Phaeris' spell, Yugo gains markings over his body, a surging aura of Wakfu and the ability to summon and use a sword and a shield made of pure Wakfu energy. Unfortunately, this isn't enough to beat the older and Eliacube-empowered Qilby.
  • And I Must Scream: The titular White Dimension is an empty blank space of absolute nothingess, essentially a sensory deprivation chamber where there's no time, no chance to die, nothing. Yugo barely spends a few minutes there and he's already distressed, and Qilby's promise to leave him there to go insane like he did doesn't help at all.
  • Asshole Victim: Anathar is finally Killed Off for Real when Qilby shoots a massive Wakfu beam in his way, with the added bonus of having the ceiling of the tunnel fall on him.
  • Battle Aura: When Phaeris' empowerment kicks in, Yugo gains a surging teal aura of pure Wakfu surrounding him.
  • Chain Pain: Goultard uses his extensible chain to snare Rushu's foot while he's distracted and turn him into the biggest, fattest, most fiery Epic Flail in the world, sending him crushing against one of the stone claws surrounding the island. This is also the attack which makes Rushu go One-Winged Angel.
  • Cliffhanger: After promising to leave him to rot in the White Dimension, Qilby decides to show Yugo something first and throws him across the portal to Emrub, the dimension where the Eliatrope children are.
  • The Determinator: Evangelyne is ready to cross an island turned demonic warzone and face the local equivalent of Satan to stay with the man she loves.
  • Colony Drop: Rushu interrupts the bombardment on the portal by lifting one of the Crimson Claws (a claw-shaped rock the size of a skyscraper) and throwing it at the New Sufokian's fleet, with the debris causing a tidal wave upon impact.
  • Did You Just Punch Out Cthulhu?: During their stunt as a distraction, Dally and Rubilax manage to climb and jump all the way to Rushu's head, jump on it and punch him on the head repeatedly, pissing him off. It's then followed by Eva shooting an arrow in his face, showing no trace of fear.
  • Distracted by the Sexy: Downplayed, though Dally is so overjoyed to see Eva coming his way that he completely ignores Goultard's attempt to tell him that he has a plan to stop Rushu (with only Rubilax actually answering him back).
  • Flat-Earth Atheist: When Amalia mutters that Rushu has the powers of a god, Prince Adale tells Amalia that he doesn't believe in the existence of Gods, only that there are some abnormally powerful creatures he wishes to destroy.
  • Heroes Prefer Swords: When Yugo upgrades his powers, he can manifest and use a sword and a shield made of Wakfu, similar to Qilby's own scythe.
  • Heroic Willpower: Thanks to Yugo's encouragement and being in danger, Adamai finally manages to awaken and break free of Anathar's possession.
  • I Surrender, Suckers: After Qilby deals with Anathar and threatens to cut him up, the Shushu carefully pretends to give in and leave with his life... only to get enough time to put himself in the right spot to cause a cave-in to kill everyone.
  • Ineffectual Death Threats: Rushu bellows a "I will rip your head off!!" at Goultard... as the latter has chained him up and is about to send him crashing on an island face-first.
  • Mistreatment-Induced Betrayal: While it was improbable that he would have worked with Qilby until the end, Anathar tries to attack and later kill him after Qilby insulted him one time too many and called him a useless puppet in his face.
    Anathar: It's me you're calling a puppet!?
Qilby: Do you see anyone else?
  • Mr. Exposition: When Amalia asks about New Sufokia, Prince Adale explains that long ago, the advanced civilization of Sufokia sunk beneath the waves during the Chaos of Ogrest, but thanks to their advanced technology they were able to form underground cities and survive. Now they're planning to reclaim the Crimson Claws (where the mineral they need to fuel their technology abounds) to start a new, officially recognized reign.
  • No-Sell: When Adale's flagship shoots a highly concentrated beam at Rushu, the latter literally bitch-slaps it into a shower of smaller lasers which are redirected by the backhand onto the island, bombarding the Sufokian forces.
  • Not Now, Kiddo: Qilby's reaction to Anathar when the latter tries to warn him that Adamai is fighting back the possession and about to get free oozes contempt and irritation.
  • Oh, Crap!:
    • Rushu has a minor one when he sees that the portal is under fire, and a bigger one when Goultard manages to ensnare his foot and prepares to fling him into another rock.
    • Amalia and the Bridge Bunnies when they see the size of the tidal wave coming in their direction.
    • Anathar when he feels that Adamai is fighting his influence back.
  • One-Winged Angel: After being smashed into an island by Goultard, Rushu reveals his true form as a black, one-eyed humanoid who can form tentacles that's surprisingly only about of above average human height. According to Rubilax, the giant fiery form is merely a business form he uses to tower over his underlings.
  • Pun: After Anathar turns on him unsuccessfully, Qilby raises his scythe and threatens to turn him into shushi.
  • Stop Hitting Yourself: When an enraged Anathar tries to punch Qilby, the latter opens a portal to redirect the punch to Anathar's chin, which also prevents the Shushu from actually touching Qilby to copy his powers.
  • Suspiciously Specific Denial: After seeing Amalia's suspicious scowl when he said that with their current level of technology and the resources of the Crimson Claws New Sufokia could Take Over the World, Adale then adds, smiling, that they'll never dream to do that, they are a peaceful people... That being said, nothing has come from this... yet.
  • Taking the Bullet: Phaeris uses his Dragon form to shield Yugo from a particularly brutal barrage of lasers... though when he falls down exhausted and then gets brutally smashed by Anathar, Yugo musters enough energy to repay him in kind with his shield when Qilby tries to finish him with several more blasts.
  • Tempting Fate: After assuming his true form, Rushu claims that the only reason why Goultard won against him in their last battle was because he had Iop on his side, but he's confident he won't show up again to aid him. In the next episode...
  • This Cannot Be!:
    • Prince Adale reacts with outraged anger when he finds out that his flagship, the best Steammarine the navy had, was damaged by Rushu's tidal wave.
    • Anathar has a moment of disbelief when Adamai manages to free himself from his possession, something that never happened before.
  • Too Dumb to Live: Lampshaded when Anathar tries to dispose of Qilby by causing a long and slow cave-in.
Qilby: [emerging unscathed from a portal] Anathar, did you really think a few rocks could get rid of me?
Anathar: [with an embarassed grin] Err... it crossed my mind, yes. But hey, it costs nothing to check.
    Qilby: It will cost you!
  • Villainous Rescue: Indirect example, as Anathar is planning to kill them all, but his attempt on Qilby's life allows Phaeris to recover enough to grab Yugo and Adamai and carry them to safety.
  • We Need a Distraction: Goultard's plan to land a sneak attack on Rushu relies on someone distracting him long enough... namely, Dally and Eva.
  • Wham Shot: After crossing the portal Qilby opened in the White Dimension, Yugo finds himself in a dimension filled with planetoids, surrounded by Eliatrope children calling him by name.
  • You Have GOT to Be Kidding Me!:
    • Downplayed, though when Goultard tells that he knows Rushu's weaknesses and has a plan, Rubilax bluntly tells him that finding a weakness on Rushu is like finding a wart on a princess' butt, he only won in the past through sheer luck and that if he really thinks he can pull off his plan, then he's even more Ioppish than he thought.
    • With a dash of Villainous Breakdown for Qilby, when his second attempt to kill Yugo and Phaeris is interrupted again by Adamai, complete with Lampshade Hanging.
Qilby: Now what?! Every time I'm about to finish you off, something is going to come and stop me, is that it!?
