Mario has found himself in the Wild West! Joined with Sharp-eye Meggy, Reload Toad and other friends, a wild, wild adventure awaits them!
After being duped by Bowser into taking a train ride into the middle of nowhere, Mario ends up in the Mushroom Mesa, where the Wild Wah Gang is wreaking havoc. Taking up the cowboy name of “Optimus Prime 3000”, Mario sets out to assemble a team of western-flavored versions of his friends and defend the town from the Wild Wah Gang.
  • Ambiguously Gay: After being Shot in the Ass, McCree requests "sexual healing" from Luigi.
  • Ass Shove: During the saloon fight, Mario shoves a bottle of ketchup up Woody's ass to stop his assault on Meggy.
    Woody: Somebody’s poisoned the waterhole!
  • A-Team Firing: During their confrontation, Wario and Waluigi shoot at the gang, who all dodge except Luigi, who keeps getting shot at. The scene goes back to the three of them a while later, to reveal that after five whole minutes the two still haven't gotten a single shot off on Luigi.
  • Bar Brawl: In the saloon, Shroomy ends up angering a sore loser with his impossibly good aiming, leading to a massive fight scene.
  • Blasting It Out of Their Hands: Slingshot Shroomy shoots an enemy goomba's gun out of its arms, leaving it defenceless against Reload Toad.
  • Clumsy Copyright Censorship: The scene where Lady Boop distracts a Monty Mole with her "womanly charm" was edited and completely muted a few years after the episode's release for using the copyrighted song "Let’s Get It On”, leading to an awkward gap in the episode's audio.
  • Dirty Cop: Early on, Sheriff Toadsworth tries to stop the Wario bandits. They merely pay him a few coins and he walks off pretending they don't exist.
  • Distracted by the Sexy: Lady Boop uses this to distract one of Wario's monty moles for long enough to surprise attack it with a stick. Her stick attack does nothing, but the monty mole's confusion of her useless stick attack distracts it long enough for Wild Bob to shoot an arrow into its forehead, killing it.
  • The Dreaded: Reload Toad seems to have this effect, as him announcing himself during the middle of a massive violent Bar Brawl is enough to cause everyone to panic and run out of the saloon.
  • Establishing Team Shot: After collecting enough party members and heading back into town, the group members walk side by side while subtitles list all of their names individually.
  • Groin Attack: Done twice to Donkey Kong, both times by Meggy.
  • Identical Grandson: All of the western characters look identical to their modern day counterparts, albeit with different hats, to the point that Mario doesn't ever realise he (possibly) time-traveled and assumes everyone's just acting weird.
  • I Have Your Wife: Reload Toad agrees to help Mario stop the Wario bandits because they took his "wife", a giant pile of candy.
  • Improbable Aiming Skills: While at the saloon, Shroomy plays darts and ends up getting 5 bullseyes in a row, with all 5 darts sticking into the bullseye at the same time. One of the patrons claims he must be cheating, and the conflict escalates into a full Bar Brawl.
  • Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Donkey Kong tries to ride off on his horse when the bandits begin to lose the confrontation. Meggy spooks it into throwing him off, landing groin first on a metal beam.
  • Shot in the Ass: Comes up a few times with the characters' conflict.
    • Implied to have happened during the Bar Brawl, as McCree gets thrown behind the counter and claims to have a bullet in his ass before passing out.
    • Later during the confrontation with the Wario bandits, Mario shoots a monty mole in the ass, killing it.
  • Time Travel: It's left intentionally ambiguous whether everyone is just acting strange or whether Mario really did somehow time travel back to western times. Bob claims in "Stupid Mario Sports Mix" that he was a native American in his former life, possibly referencing Wild Bob in this episode, though it calls into question how Bob would know about Wild Bob's existence when the former isn't a history buff and the latter actively avoided society.
