The KND try to find an escaped moonbase prisoner at the DCFDTL's mansion, but the boys are brought down with Numbuh 86's yelling and complaining.

• Aside Glance: Numbuh 1's reaction to Numbuh 4 accepting the Snipe Hunt wholeheartedly.
• Big "SHUT UP!": Numbuh 86's reaction to Numbuh 4 saying they kept the dandelion safe.
• Brick Joke: When Numbuh 86 starts rattling off, Numbuh 4 whispers, “Who put a bee in her undies?” When she leaves, Numbuh 3 recites the same thing, and Numbuh 4 is surprised.
• The Dreaded: Numbuh 1 points out they have to put up with Numbuh 86's nonsense because she's not only of higher rank but heads the decommissioning unit.
• Everyone Has Standards: Numbuhs 3 and 5 turn down Numbuh 86's offer to join her up on the Moonbase to take credit for capturing the fugitive, being thoroughly put off by her treatment of their male teammates.
  • Numbuh 86 may be rude and insulting towards male operatives, however she shows no sign of disrespect towards Numbuh 274, and even seems eager to earn his praise for capturing the fugitive. She also doesn't underestimate the fugitive in question, Numbuh 206, who was a male operative.
• Five-Second Foreshadowing: When Numbuh 86 tosses "Numbuh 206" to her subordinates, the grunt the operative makes sounds noticeably feminine for someone who was supposed to be male, giving a quick clue that Numbuh 86 didn't get who she was sent after.
• Foreshadowing:
  • When chasing Numbuh 206, Numbuh 86 mentions a spy infiltrating the Delightful Mansion. Said spy turns out to be the person Numbuh 86 really caught at the end of the episode, who promptly chews her out for messing up her mission.
  • Numbuh 86 is the head of decommissioning. This will be further elaborated on at the end of the season and put Numbuh 1 at odds with her in an even more personal way.
  • Numbuh 86 in her rant against Numbuh 2 and 4 praises her superior Numbuh 362 on that she would never put up with stupidity and she would scold them for it. Guess who scolds her in the end for her stupidity.
• Freak Out: Getting covered in the Delightful Children's toenail clippings causes Numbuh 86 to have a complete screaming meltdown as she runs around in circles.
• Funny Background Event: Before Numbuh 362 reams Numbuh 86 out, Numbuh 274 can be seen sneaking off in the background.
• Hate Sink: In this episode, Numbuh 86 is a walking example of how obnoxious misandry can get.
• Ironic Echo:
  • Numbuh 86 goes on a humongous rant on how boys are horrible. At the end of the episode, Numbuh 362 starts rattling off on how 86 herself is horrible. Even saying she's ashamed to call 86 a girl.
  • Earlier in the episode, when Numbuh 1 first greets Numbuh 86, he stumbles over his words, saying "Uh sir! I mean ma'am!". At the end of the episode, Numbuh 86 makes the same stumble when she realizes that she accidently caught Numbuh 362.
• Laser-Guided Karma: After spending an entire episode giving the boys of Sector V nothing but flack about how stupid and incompetent she thinks they are, Numbuh 86 gets her fair share of insults when her superior Numbuh 362 gives her an earful for interfering with an undercover mission she was on. Ironically enough, it was Numbuh 86 praising her earlier as one who would never tolerate stupidity from the KND.
• Never My Fault: Numbuh 86 consistently. She explicitly orders Numbuh 1 not to move a muscle and then blames him for not stopping the fugitive from escaping. She prematurely opens fire on the escaping ship, leading to a broken tailpiece knocking them out of the sky, and her only response is to blame the boys for it.
• Not So Above It All:
  • For being so sweet and sugary at times, Numbuh 3 bitterly wonders "Who put a bee in [Numbuh 86's] undies".
  • When first arriving at the beach, Numbuh 5 joins the others in acting like they're on a beach vacation instead of on an assignment.
• Oh, Crap!: Numbuh 86 has this reaction when she discovers that the “fugitive” she captured turns out to be Numbuh 362, who gives her a serious chewing out for interfering with her undercover mission.
• O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Even the normally upbeat Numbuh 3 gets sick of Numbuh 86's bad attitude and bitterly comments on it.
• "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Once Numbuh 362 is set free, she rips Numbuh 86 to utter shreds.
  Numbuh 362: You IDIOT! I was this close to getting the Delightful Children's plans, and you attacked me from out of nowhere! Whose side are you on anyways?! I'm ashamed to call you a girl. I never thought a girl would be so stupid. You are by far the most idiotic person I have ever, ever worked with!
• Sarcasm-Blind:
  • Numbuh 86 walks in to overhear Numbuh 1 sarcastically saying they should ditch their responsibilities to go goof off. Despite the fact that his tone of voice is clearly not serious, she still takes it as if he meant it.
  • Numbuh 86 decides to have the boys out of the fight, and gives them the "mission" of protecting a dandelion from an adult attack. Numbuh 1 and 2 get the indirect, but Numbuh 4 actually takes the task seriously.
• Screw This, I'm Outta Here: Once Numbuh 274 shows Numbuh 86 that the "fugitive" she captured is Numbuh 362, he slinks away from the scene, leaving her alone to be scolded for ruining her mission.
• Snipe Hunt: Numbah 1, 2, and 4 are ordered by Numbuh 86 to guard a dandelion in the DCFDTL's garden from any adult's attacks to prevent them from following her and Numbah 3 and 5, since she thinks the boys will get in the way. When the boys decide to go after the fugitive to prove her wrong, Numbah 4 places the flower in a pot and takes it with him.
• Strange Minds Think Alike: Numbuh 3 and Numbuh 4 individually use the exact same phrase when regarding Numbuh 86's attitude.
  "Who put a bee in her undies?"
• Straw Feminist: Numbuh 86 despises men and assigns them do-nothing jobs while having the girls actually help with the mission.
• Tempting Fate: When Numbuh 86 brings in "the fugitive", she believes that Numbuh 362 will give her a promotion. Imagine her bad luck when she learns she actually captured Numbuh 362 herself.
• What Happened to the Mouse?: The actual Numbuh 206 never gets brought up again after managing to flee from Numbuh 86 at the Delightful Children's mansion.
• What You Are in the Dark: Numbuh 86 offers that she would include Numbuh 5 and 3 in her report, even at the expense of leaving out Numbuh's 1, 2, and 4. Numbuh 5's response?
  Numbuh 5: You know what? Keep your stupid credit!
• Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: Numbuh 86 is too disgusted of nail clippings. Of course, while at the Delightful Mansion, the DCFDTL just had a bath...and were carrying a jar of their toe nail collection.
• Women Are Wiser: Deconstructed. This kind of viewpoint makes Numbuh 86 think she's entitled to treat boys as though they are all-around 'stupid'.
