The fifth episode of Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two, and the 66th episode of the overall series. Naily and Remote are eliminated, and the featured challenge is to retrieve plates that have fallen to the bottom of a water reservoir.

Tropes associated with this episode include:

  • Accidental Passenger: Bell realises her (The) Strongest Team on Earth has taken accidental custody of TV after making off with Are You Okay's robo-sea-monster. Snowball confirms this to be a kidnapping.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: Pen, the nicest member of Are You Okay, gets fed up with Golf Ball's behavior and they go at it by bouncing each other's bubbles in the canal.
  • Bitch Slap: Needle finally does this again, but in this case it's because Pin called her idea good rather than great.
  • Call-Back: The floor of the Goiky Canal is full of the corpses of Match, Book, Icy, Ruby and Pencil.
  • Didn't Think This Through: Winner digs The S! through the ground to get a shortcut to the plates, but when they dig into the Goiky Canal the whole team is killed from the water pressure.
  • Disproportionate Retribution: Robot Flower rigs the submarine that her team is on to explode due to her being manipulated by TV that machines are not to be used to trick others and that machines should stick together. She does this when the team uses the submarine to trick Chompy. This causes everyone to die a fiery exploding death, even Grassy.
  • Genius Loci: Teardrop jumps into the Goiky Canal, turning her into a sentient face that can move through the water without any trouble. She's also the first to find the plates, and is unnoticed by the sea monster. Eraser claims that he'd turn into a giant eraser if there was one around when she does so in an attempt to save his ego.
  • Insane Troll Logic: Marker reckons that, since holding their breaths is a way of preventing death, his team can't run out of air at all. Subverted when Fanny runs out of air and drowns, with Marker and Tree folding to get back to the surface to avoid drowning.
  • Jerkass Ball: Tennis Ball acts more abrasive towards Pen after Pen had retaliated against Golf Ball.
  • Kick the Dog: Pillow throws people over the side of the hotel's roof during Cake at Stake under the pretense that there's not much space. After Naily and Remote are eliminated, she cuts the ramen noodles keeping them from falling.
  • Major Injury Underreaction: When Coiny activates the world's strongest magnet, all the shelves collapse on the team, and Coiny only lets out a simple "ow".
  • Manipulative Bastard: TV manipulates Robot Flower into rigging the submarine her team is on to explode and kill everyone, even Grassy, due to the team innocently tricking Chompy with the submarine.
  • Mundane Made Awesome: Collecting plates. Plates that just so happen to be underwater, protected by a fish monster.
  • Noodle Incident: Coiny orders a world-ending bomb from Yellow Face's Warehouse.
  • Only Sane Man: Black Hole is the only member of Death P.A.C.T. Again who sees the obvious issue in the team's plan of holding their breath underwater while looking for plates.
  • Reality Warper: Rewriting definitions actively changes the corresponding items. When Pillow adds "+ something we can mess with" to Book's definition of gravity, Just Not is capable of flying via putting items before them as upwards staircases, while Barf Bag changes the sign on The Slowest Train Ever to say The Fastest Train Ever, making the train go faster.
  • Running Gagged: Yellow Face's Warehouse is 2,762 miles away, with Coiny lampshading that not everything has to be the same distance.
  • Soundtrack Dissonance: Played for laughs. Cheery music plays whenever Death P.A.C.T. Again speaks via dance, keeping up even when Tree and Marker discuss Fanny dying and getting back to the surface before they die too.
  • Super-Strength: Needle's plan is to have Coiny magnetize the train, then throw him all the way back to Goiky so the train follows his magnet and his speed.
  • Translator Microbes: The fish monster submarine has a microphone which can translate English into the language of fish monsters.
  • Would Harm a Child: TV manipulates Robot Flower into rigging the submarine the team is on to explode. Grassy is on board, and he dies from the explosion along with the others.
