That's what you get for provoking a David.

The fourth episode of Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two, and the 65th episode of the overall series. Cloudy and Saw are eliminated, and the featured challenge is to protect an endangered species of plant in seven different biomes.

Tropes associated with this episode include:

  • Borrowed Catchphrase: Upon finding out that Are You Okay's plant is in Davidland, Eraser says David's catchphrase, "Aw, seriously?".
  • Call-Back: The title is a call-back to the Season 1 episode "Gardening Hero".
  • Calvinball: Yoyle Chess is a bit more complicated than regular chess, with Pillow just making the rules up as she goes along—it's against the rules to play near cacti, and getting cursed by Yellow Face's skeleton causes Cake to go from 5 points ahead of Pillow to 30 points behind her. But as Pillow says, "Nobody questions the rules of Yoyle Chess." And she's right—if anyone questions the rules, a roller coaster car sends them flying.
  • Man on Fire: Grassy's teammates set fire to him in an attempt to keep their plant warm. As a result, Grassy's teleportation bracelet burns off and sends him back to Goiky. Then when Marker goes back to obtain Two's scissors, he runs into Grassy and catches fire, too.
  • Mass "Oh, Crap!": Just Not's reaction when Two suddenly appears in the desert.
  • Medium-Shift Gag: Teardrop trying to protect her plant in the real world.
  • Out-of-Character Moment: Even though Basketball does express concern over Grassy being set on fire, she does nothing about it and instead expresses more concern over his bracelet burning off than his own well- being. This is quite unusual for Basketball as she cares deeply for Grassy and acts like a big sister figure to him.
  • Rapid-Fire "No!": Lightning's reaction when Marker pulls his bracelet off.
  • Red Eyes, Take Warning: Tree's eyes turn red as he is about to kill the plant.
  • Sadistic Choice: Puffball causes one for Death P.A.C.T. Again, all thanks to shoving Ice Cube in the dirt right next to the latter's assigned plant, forcing them to choose whether to save the plant, or the contestant (due to the plant absorbing Ice Cube's water). They ultimately choose to give up the challenge, and thus, are put up for elimination afterwards.
  • Shipper on Deck: Eraser jokingly ships Golf Ball and Tennis Ball together, and laughs over them Finishing Each Other's Sentences.
  • Sudden Anatomy: One of the Davids in Davidland sprouts an ear to listen for insults.
  • Tempting Fate: With Lightning questioning how hard it is to watch a funny plant in a jungle, Death P.A.C.T. Again exclaims that they're good at preventing death. Unfortunately they'd go up for elimination.
  • Variant Chess: The episode introduces "yoyle chess". It looks like normal chess at first, but the rooks look like vans, there are "strongest" and "weakest" squares on the board, "traps" the players can put up and also "points" to gain. Pillow mentions they have to play it on the tracks of a rollercoaster, although she might be using it as an excuse for her to cheat, whenever a cart is going towards them, she grabs the game and the other player, jump up high to avoid the cart and when they are back down she changes the pieces' places on the board. Her saying losing points is one of the consequences of getting cursed by Yellow Face's skeleton also might be an excuse.
  • Would Harm a Child: The Strongest Team On Earth sets fire to Grassy- a childlike charcter- just to keep their plant warm. Only Basketball sees anything wrong with it. But even then, she does nothing about it and expresses more worry towards his bracelet burning off than his well being.
