I love you so much!

"TT" is a song by K-pop girl group TWICE, appearing on their 2016 extended play Twicecoaster: Lane 1. Released six months after "Cheer Up" blew them up, this song fueled something of a Twicemania, which was parodied when the group hosted SNL Korea to promote this comeback. This was also the song that scored Twice their most music show wins.

The music video follows a pair of kids going trick-or-treating on Halloween. They find a spooky house and wander inside, where they are greeted by the Twice members. Within the house lurks a supernatural presence, with the Twice members showcasing different personalities throughout the video. Nayeon is a devil, Jeongyeon is Pinocchio, Momo is Tinkerbell from Peter Pan, Sana is Hit-Girl from Kick-Ass, Jihyo is The Snow Queen, Mina is a pirate, Dahyun is the White Rabbit from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Chaeyoung is a mermaid, and Tzuyu is a vampire.

This was briefly the most-viewed video by a Korean Girl Group on YouTube.

Watch the music video here.

I'm like T(rope) T(his):

  • Bookends: The video begins with the kids knocking on the door. The video ends with the kids being spooked by an unseen entity knocking on the same door.
  • Bunnies for Cuteness: A miniature Dahyun appears in a bunny suit and eats a carrot while surrounded by bunnies.
  • Cliffhanger: The kids are frightened by an unseen entity at the door, which is followed by a To Be Continued at the end.
  • Eerie Pale-Skinned Brunette: Tzuyu, who is actually the darkest-skinned member of TWICE when allowed to tan, is transformed into a pallid, vampiric Elegant Gothic Lolita.
  • Emoticon: The title and chorus hook of "TT" derives from an emoticon used to signify crying. The members pose this way for the choreography in the video.
  • Foreshadowing: Jeongyeon briefly does the "Knock Knock" choreography, hinting at the next video resolving the cliffhanger.
  • Halloween Episode: The "TT" MV takes place in a haunted house where two children go trick and treating. There, they meet TWICE dressed up in different costumes. The MV ends in a cliffhanger with the children scared.
  • Haunted House: The main setting of the video is a mansion apparently haunted by the Twice members.
  • Homage: The MV has the girls dressed in different costumes from popular franchises. Momo as Tinkerbell, Jihyo as The Snow Queen, and Jeongyeon as Pinocchio have the most faithful costume reproductions. Sana dressed as a superhero (most likely a Batman Parody given that her line starts with na na na na na na), Mina as a pirate, Chaeyoung as a mermaid, Dahyun as the Easter Bunny, and Nayeon as the devil don't homage a particular franchise, but they are popular Halloween costumes. Tzuyu's costume has been subject to many different theories, but was confirmed in the "making of" video to be a vampire costume.
  • Hot as Hell: A Girl Next Door version of Nayeon is beleaguered by a bunch of devil Nayeons. Said devil Nayeons are wearing a figure-hugging red dress, harmless-looking little horns, and lipstick — and, of course, look like Im Nayeon. Certainly more glamorous than the usual imaginings of the devil.
  • An Ice Person: Jihyo freezes her dress and a stairwell in one scene.
  • Jump Scare: Two of them: Tzuyu's first materialization and the lightning strike during Sana's second solo. The second one is more a jumpscare for Sana herself than the audience – she's known to be terrified of thunder.
  • Sequel Episode: The video for "Knock Knock", from Twicecoaster: Lane 2, resolves the cliffhanger at the end of this one. The unseen entity knocking on the door is implied to be the Twice members who froze to death and became ghosts after getting locked out of the house.
  • To Be Continued: The video ends on a "To be continued" message set to the beginning of "Knock Knock".
  • Uncanny Valley: Deliberately invoked at the start of its second verse where Jeongyeon sings while dressed as Pinocchio laying against a wall and then after a camera cut moves only her head.
