Track 1: Can You Picture That?
  • As part of the opening montage in the pilot, there are shots of the band driving around in their van, cutting between each one taking turns… and during Animal's turn, he pulls the steering wheel right off. The band proceeds to panic.
  • Nora seems to think the lyrics to "Rock and Roll All Night" go "Part of every day," not "Party every day." The latter just seems less humanly possible.
  • During his interview on Seacrest's show, Animal swings from the boom mike. Seacrest wishes the operator a speedy recovery.
  • Nora says the band had a check for $420,000, and that Zoot was the one who cashed it out. Several past productions, most notably The Muppets, have heavily implied that the band are stoners, especially Zoot.
    • Later in the episode when they paint the house, its street address is “420”.
  • After arriving at the shack, the band proceeds to give it a groovy makeover to the tune of "Can You Picture That"… only for Nora to arrive and tell them they painted the wrong house. The shack was across the street and the band painted Danny Trejo's house.
Trejo: HEY! WHO DID THIS TO MY HOUSE?
Floyd: That depends. Do you like it?
  • The episode ends with the van hanging off a cliff (i.e. a cliffhanger) with Animal hanging by the front bumper.
Floyd: Disney+ is gonna love this!

Track 2: True Colors

  • Throughout the episode, Animal showers Nora with gifts. Such gifts include flowers, a live bird, the Baseball Diamond, surgery, and a live goat.
  • Among the chatter as Nora leaves Janice's hospital room, Floyd drops this gem:
    Floyd: Lips said you died.

Track 3: Exile on Main Street

  • The Mayhem all have their instruments with them in the recording studio... Except for Zoot.
Zoot:(Beat) I left my sax at home.
  • The group’s reaction when an enraged Animal destroys Zedd's drum machine.
Dr. Teeth: Don't worry! We'll pay you back!
    Zedd: It's $80,000.
    (Beat)
Dr. Teeth: We will not be paying you back.
    • Followed shortly after by Animal storming out of the studio by WALKING STRAIGHT THROUGH THE GLASS DOOR WITHOUT STOPPING.
  • Apparently, Animal once chased a squirrel all the way to Central Mexico. We're given no more information, only that the squirrel was a pompous jerk who the band felt had it coming.
  • Animal's interactions with the job agent, played hilariously by Ben Schwartz.
  • Animal is a surprisingly good hibachi chef...to the point that every other hibachi chef in the restaurant is staring in awe. He put those drumming skills to use!
  • Zoot still has a copy of Bambi from the Blockbuster in Van Nuys.

Track 4: The Times They Are A-Changin'

  • Janice's...less than subtle attempts to get Hannah to reconcile with Nora. Her methods include yoga, makeovers, meditation, giving her hearing loss with a giant gong, and attempting lobotomy. For some reason, it doesn't work.

Track 5: Break on Through

  • The Cold Open has the Mayhem all in neck braces from headbanging too much. Dr. Teeth suggests some music to help their recovery... only for Floyd to put on Metallica, causing everyone but Nora to start headbanging while going "Ow!" ad nauseum.
Dr. Teeth: *struggling* The Power of Rock compels us!
    • There's also a Stealth Pun thrown in there, as the song Floyd put on was "Master of Puppets."
    • The icing on the cake is that while everyone else struggles because of their broken necks, Animal goes as hard as ever.

Track 7: Eight Days a Week

  • JJ attempts to win Animal over by gifting him two bunny rabbits. Several days later there's suddenly a lot more bunnies running around the studio. When Nora tells the Zoot impersonators to leave, she orders them to take a bunny each, but in the background, we can see that there are at least five left at the Shack.
  • A discussion over the origin of the band's name triggers days of arguing among the band that eventually spills into more personal issues they have with each other.
Dr. Teeth: They called Penny intrusive and my hat repulsive. Neither are true!
Floyd: Well, they called me a diva and a cheapskate! Half true!
Janice: They called me capricious and flighty. Both true!
Lips: They called me a Chrysanthemum.
Dr. Teeth: Sometimes a man has to look in the mirror, Lips.
  • The episode ends with an appearance by Peter Jackson. Floyd comments that they haven't seen him since a night in Wellington… when they met the Feebles.
Jackson: Yeah, it was a bad night. You know, two of the Feebles are in witness protection. The rest are in prison.

Track 8: Virtual Insanity

  • Nora attempts to explain that digital photos are stored in "the cloud", causing Zoot to believe his photos are up in the sky somewhere. In the episode's closing joke, all of Zoot's photos rain down from the heavens.
  • The stinger: Zoot tells his off-screen photography subject to say cheese, then raises a wedge of Swiss cheese, which flashes like an actual camera.

Track 9: Drift Away

  • The episode opens with Janice hosting a yoga session for her Instagram followers. Cue a montage of Janice doing increasingly elaborate yoga positions with names like "the Flirty Mermaid" and "the Nauseous Narwhal", with the last position being called "the Magician's Assistant" since she somehow manages to float in mid-air while on her back.
  • When Nora tries to gather the band members for a meeting, she discovers that Lips has gotten some speechwriters together to help him brainstorm ideas to save the world like his expired marshmallow hallucination told him to in episode 5. Pausing the scene shows the whiteboard behind them has some ideas already; highlights include "Feed the homeless", "Home the foodless", "Let kids watch scary movies and learn their lesson", "Find out who let the dogs out" and "Universal health care/hair care".
  • In Charlamagne tha God's cameo, the band has him confused for the God.
Janice: Thank you for creating butterflies and snowflakes and mini horses. They're like the baby dolphins of the land.
    Zoot: Do you know Santa?
    • On top of that, not only is Zoot canonically Jewish, the Muppets met Santa Claus in the same special that established that.
  • Janice's online following quickly develops into a cult. As she says goodbye to Nora, she declares her "an honorary Forsurlian, who will be spared during the reckoning". No further details are given.

Track 10: We Will Rock You

  • Statler and Waldorf show up for a cameo at the Hollywood Bowl show. The two old geezers hurl insults at the band until an usher comes to inform them that they've taken someone else's seats and sees them out.
Waldorf: Looks like the Muppets finally did something we like.
    Statler: Oh, what's that?
    Waldorf: Make us leave!
(launch into their Signature Laugh as the venue worker leads Statler out)
  • The very cleverly set up Brick Joke: The first episode established that the band got $420,000 for recording their album. Turns out that after Zoot cashed the check, he hid the money in their old bus and then forgot all about it. Meaning that the band have been driving around with all that money all this time.
