Cosmo Jarvis (born Harrison Cosmo Krikoryan Jarvis, 1 September 1989) is a singer/song-writer/filmmaker/actor from Devon, England. He made his debut with the two-part album Humasyouhitch/Sonofabitch. His second album, Is the World Strange or Am I Strange? was far better received than the first, notably with the single "Gay Pirates." The video for the single became a viral hit when it was tweeted by Stephen Fry.
While Jarvis never sticks to one single genre, his work often makes use of punk screams, reggae rhythms and mandolins. His short films range from horror to comedy to thrillers, and often use very complex shots.
Jarvis is also an actor, having roles in Lady Macbeth, Persuasion and Shōgun, among other works.
