AiPri Idols
In General
- Theme Naming: With the exception of Chii, their given name can be combined to 'Himitsu' (Himari, Mitsuki, Tsumugi), hence their theme of secrets. It also works through Mitsuki's first two syllables of her name (Himari, Mitsuki) before Tsumugi's name was revealed.
Himari Aozora
Voiced by: Minori Fujidera
The main protagonist of series. Himari is a first-year junior middle school student at Paradise Private Academy who dreams of making 10,000 friends. When it comes to dodgeball, she is the last to get out of the game. Her preferred brand is Poppin' Heart.- Girlish Pigtails: Has one in both normal and AiPri form.
- Goal in Life: Wants to make ten thousand friends during introduction class. Yuma doesn't take this too well, referring that as childish.
- Pink Heroine: The most obvious, being the main focus of the series and has a pink hair and clothing in AiPri Verse.
- Power Makes Your Hair Grow: Her medium-length pink hair grows into curvy hip-length in AiPri form.
Mitsuki Hoshikawa
Voiced by: Sae Hiratsuka
A first-year junior middle school student at Paradise Private Academy who is Himari's childhood friend and dormmate. She is skilled at playing the piano and baking sweets, but she's terrified of ghosts. Her preferred brand is Miracle Moon.- Cosmic Motifs: Her name has 'tsuki' and 'hoshi' on it, which translates as 'moon' and 'star' respectively.
- Feminine Women Can Cook: Downplayed, while she is good at cooking, her real life appearance isn't as feminine as her AiPri one.
- Lunacy: Her preferred brand is Miracle Moon. It also helps with her more girly hair inside AiPri Verse.
- Online Alias: Was referred as 'Mi-chan' before switching to 'Mitsuki' in the end of Episode 2.
- Power Makes Your Hair Grow: Her hair goes from neck-length to thigh-length when entering AiPri Verse.
- Supreme Chef: One of her specialities is making sweets.
Chii Mamiya
Voiced by: Yo Taichi
Himari and Mitsuki's classmate. She is very experienced when it comes to AiPri. Her skill is playing the guitar and loves rock music. Her preferred brand is Love My Music.- Cloudcuckoolander: She is very talkative befitting her prideful personality, that many others would leave her behind mid-conversation.
- No Indoor Voice: She often talks a lot, and has pretty loud voice. Thankfully Sakura took advantage of it while searching for chicks in Episode 5.
- Power Dyes Your Hair: Subverted, her hair doesn't change but was given highlights much like any AiPri idols.
Tsumugi Suzukaze
Voiced by: Yurika Kubo
- Early-Bird Cameo: Makes her first appearence in first three episodes, and wasn't seen again after that.
- Flower Motifs: Her prefered brand is Flower March.
- Mysterious Stranger: Considered as this in early episodes, even the pre-release information refers her as 'Mysterious Girl'. It wasn't until Episode 3 that she reveals her name, and seems to know Himari and the sign that Buzzlume Change might come.
Student Council Idols
In General
- Theme Naming: The last name of the student council members are named after their numbers from 1 through 4 in Japanese. (Ichijoji, Nikaidou, Mitsuba, Shinomiya).
Sakura Ichijoji
Voiced by: Yuriko Hibi
A second-year student & the student council president at the Paradise Private Academy who is admired by everyone. Her preferred brand is Scarlet Butterfly.- The Leader: Among the student council idols and also the one who truly supports AiPri.
- Power Makes Your Hair Grow: Her hair grows longer and was given a split ponytail held by a braid in AiPri Verse.
- Pretty Butterflies: Her preferred brand is Scarlet Butterfly, with butterfly motifs on most of her outfit.
- Student Council President: She takes the role in this series.
Tamaki Nikaidou
Voiced by: Anna Suzuki
A second-year student at the prestigious Paradise Private Academy. She serves as the vice president of the student council, providing perfect support for Sakura. Tamaki is knowledgeable about fashion and leads the school as its fashion leader. Her preferred brand is Rosession.- The Lancer: Towards Sakura, being a vice president towards her. She also one of the members of Ruby Lazuli unit.
- Power Makes Your Hair Grow: Her low braids becomes longer and thicker in volume as AiPri idol.
Airi Mitsuba
Voiced by: Sora Tokui
A second-year student at the bustling Paradise Private Academy. She serves as the treasurer of the student council, never missing a single business opportunity. Her specialty is programming, and she excels at creating useful gadgets. Her preferred brand is RAINBOW CANDY.- Crazy-Prepared: She often reveals the specific tool that would be helpful towards current situation.
- Power Makes Your Hair Grow: Extremely subtle compared to other AiPri idols, but her hair becomes slightly longer with curls on it.
Rinrin Shinomiya
Voiced by: Misaki Watada
A second-year student at the Paradise Private Academy. She excels in data analysis and serves as the secretary of the student council. She delights in seeing neatly arranged numbers. She is rumored to be good at fortune-telling, but it's a mystery of whether she's actually accurate at it. Her preferred brand is Bear Bear Bear.- Odango Hair: While most of idols had their hair grow longer or given slight changes, Rinrin stands out as her long wavy hair is now tied with large buns on each side.
- Ojou: While unconfirmed of whether she literally is, her AiPri Verse outfit did sport some Ojou elements on it.
- Pimped-Out Dress: Her dress in AiPri sports one with puffy sleeves and large skirt.
Miscallenous Characters
Victoria Oosuga
The headmistress of Paradise Academy. For unknown reason, Victoria despised AiPri and becomes harsh to the students to protect her students from going there so they won't be neglected from their school duties.
- Anime Hair: Has her hair tied upwards with two buns.
- Berserk Button: Doesn't take it well when any student says AiPri or something similar.
- Dean Bitterman: Only concerns about the school's public image and dislikes AiPri for believing that becoming one would affect their studies.
- Determinator: She hates AiPri so much that she even announces the students to avoid going there at all costs. She even goes to extreme that she prohibits AiPri for the entire area of school in the end of Episode 6.
- Expy: To Gloria Ookanda from PriPara, from their hair (though Victoria's hair isn't as extreme as the latter) and their hatred towards the virtual world.
- Jerkass: While she does care about the students, she only does it out of wish to make them into a perfect student without being affected by AiPri Verse. And sure enough, she doesn't buy it very well when she watches AiPri performance.
- Large Ham: Often does this, especially when introducing herself, and saying AiPri as a pest for the studies.
