- Voiced by:@Purinharumaki
- Exposed Animal Belly Button: All the cats are drawn with X-shaped navels.
- Furry Confusion: It's not known whether they are actual cats, anthropomorphic cats or humans represented by cat-like blobs. The inclusion of an actual cat in this short suggests that they might merely be cat-like instead of being actual cats.
- Uniformity Exception: Karameru's Author Avatar cat has closed eyes whereas the rest of the cats all have Black Bead Eyes.

- Ax-Crazy: The axolotl is prone to solving problems with brute force, as shown in this short.
- Cute and Psycho: Despite their cute appearance, all the axolotls that appear share a Hair-Trigger Temper and will suddenly go crazy while doing mundane tasks.
- Dissonant Serenity: They keep their signature calm expressions even as they suddenly go berserk and start breaking stuff.
- Invisible Anatomy: This short suggests they have teeth, but they're never drawn with them visible.
- Super-Strength: They have this as a species-wide trait, as shown in one short where one breaks a pool table, and another short where one throws a frisbee hard enough to split the sea apart.
- The Voiceless: Unlike other characters, they never talk.
Human
Human
- Chuck Cunningham Syndrome: They only appeared in some of the earliest Karameru animations and were phased out after the penguins and axolotls started appearing.
- Humanity Is Insane: Admittedly no more than the others, but the humans exhibit some bizarre behaviors all the same.
