Hogwarts Students

     The Protagonist

The Protagonist

Voiced by: Ry Chase (male), Lexi Fontaine (female)
The Player Character of Hogwarts Magic Awakened.
  • Action Girl: If playing as a female protagonist. She can kick as much ass as her male counterpart and her peers.

     Ivy Warrington

Ivy Warrington

Voiced by: Eden Riegel
One of the Hogwarts student companions for the protagonist, attending the same house as the protagonist.
  • The Ace: One of the few Hogwarts students to produce a corporeal Patronus.
  • Accidental Discovery: On her first day at Hogwarts, before even being sorted into a House, she basically wandered into the Room of Requirement completely by accident.
  • Animal Motif: Her Patronus charm is a pug.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: She tried to use Evanesco on Cassandra during a fight in a fit of rage. Cassandra was understandably quite horrified.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: Her sister, in a fit of anger, tried to use Evanesco on Ivy's Hogwarts trunk so that she couldn't leave without her. Ivy was so traumatized by the incident that her grandmother sealed those memories away, though subconsciously, Ivy never forgot about it and came to believe she was responsible for it, to the point where a Boggart turned into herself when she confronted it.
  • Memory Jar: Her Memento Macguffin locket, which Ivy never removes. Her grandmother sealed the Awful Truth about her sister's disappearance inside of it, which can be viewed with a Pensieve.

     Daniel Page

Daniel Page

Voiced by:
One of the four Hogwarts student companions for the protagonist, attending the same house as the protagonist.
  • Animal Motif: His Patronus charm is a black cat, reflecting the misfortune his family suffered.
  • Contrasting Sequel Main Character: To Ron Weasley, both being redhead friends with the protagonists who are targeted by a highclass Slytherin student due to their family background. But while the Weasleys' history with the Malfoys was over their opposing idelogies, Daniel's issues with Cassandra were over her trying to expose his family's criminal history.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: His mother is imprisoned in Azkaban for using magic around Muggles in public, his father and brother ending up in jail as well when they tried to break her out.
  • Then Let Me Be Evil: Thanks to Elliot’s influence, he accepts his family are criminals and isn’t afraid of others picking on him for it. Not helped is when Victor Gridley holds his sister, Esme hostage to get the Skeleton Key.
Daniel: Sometimes you have to be bad to do good.
  • Toxic Friend Influence: When he becomes friends with Elliot Evers, he becomes more violent and aggressive, actually pushing his true friends away from him.

     Robyn Thistlethwaite

Robyn Thistlethwaite

Voiced by: Grace Rolek
One of the four Hogwarts student companions for the protagonist, sorted into Gryffindor House.
  • The Ace: One of the few Hogwarts students to produce a Patronus in the form of a bear.
  • Animal Motif: Her Patronus charm is a polar bear.
  • Contrasting Sequel Main Character: To Cho Chang, both being Asian-British witches attending Hogwarts. But Cho was sorted into Ravenclaw while Robyn is a Gryffindor student.
  • Passionate Sports Girl: One of her Establishing Character Moments has her absolutely freaking out because she messed up with the Bludger during a Quidditch match. This is despite the fact that the team didn't hold it against her because they still delivered a Curb-Stomp Battle to Hufflepuff during that match.
  • Ship Tease: With Kevin. It's so much of an Everyone Can See It between them that even the Player Character slips up and says they'd make a 'nice couple' before correcting themself to say a 'nice team.'
  • Tomboy and Girly Girl: The Tomboy to Lottie's Girly Girl. She's much more Hot-Blooded than the other two, and of the main group, is the token Quidditch fanatic, being a Beater for the Gryffindor team.

     Cassandra Vole

Cassandra Vole

Voiced by: Tara Sands
A Slytherin student.
  • The Ace: She's said to be one of the best duelists in the entire school, and this right out of the gate from when she was a First Year. The Player Character is stated to be the only one who has ever beaten her.
  • Animal Motif: Her Patronus charm is a mink.
  • Alpha Bitch: Both in terms of grades and social standing, she's at the top of the totem pole at Hogwarts and she will make sure everyone there knows it.
  • The Bully: To Daniel and Ivy; Daniel because of his convicted criminal family, and Ivy because of what happened to her sister, with Cassandra (falsely) implying Ivy is a murderer because of it. Interestingly, this does not extend to the Player Character themself, whom Cassandra grows to respect.
  • Contrasting Sequel Antagonist: A Distaff Counterpart of Draco Malfoy, both being blonde antagonists to the protagonists' friends who belittle those they consider inferior and come from an upper-class family. But while Draco is motivated by his father's ideals of purebloods being superior to everybody else, his parents both purebloods, Cassandra's motivation is more class-based, as her mother is Muggle-Born, and she likes to keep those beneath her family in their place.
  • Defrosting Ice Queen: While she has nothing but contempt for the Player Character's friends, she does eventually develop respect for the Player Character themself, being willing to pay them compliments (particularly on fashion choices she approves of), and unlike the Frey twins, is an NPC option to bring to classes, explore the Forbidden Forest, or even to go dancing with. Overall, her relationship, while still on the chilly side, with the Player Character is much more amicable than the animosity Malfoy and Harry had for much of the books.
  • Fantastic Racism: Downplayed. She considers Muggles like her uncle funny.
  • The Fashionista: One of her quests involves her insisting she take the Player Character shopping for new robes at Madame Malkin's in Diagon Alley because your outfit 'went out of style years ago' (even if you're wearing Slytherin house robes at the time). She can often be found there afterward, where she'll either insult or compliment your fashion sense if spoken to again.
  • Ship Tease: With the Player Character, regardless of gender.
    • First, during the "Where Wolf?" arc for the Valentine's Day event. Cassandra spends the entire dinner at the Three Broomsticks insisting that it 'isn't a date', even as the Player Character points out that they never called it one.
    • During the epilogue fo the "Mysterious Malady" arc, upon realizing the Player Character has been taking care of her rose while she was unconscious, she's positively glowing for several seconds, and almost calls the Player Character 'sweet...' before she catches herself and insists they only did it for the extra credit.

     Colby and Fischer Frey

Colby and Fischer Frey

Voiced by: Jorjeana Marie
Slytherin students and Cassandra's flunkies.

  • Animal Motif: Fischer's Patronus charm is a crocodile while Colby's is a rhinoceros.
  • Corrupted Character Copy: The Weasley Twins. Both are sets of identical twin brothers, but the Freys are Slytherin students who antagonize the protagonists compared to the Weasleys who are Gryffindors and supported their brother and his friends.
  • Contrasting Sequel Antagonist: To Crabbe and Goyle, both being underlings to the blonde Slytherin student. But the Freys are blood-related while Crabbe and Goyle are not.
  • Heel–Face Turn: Colby in particular has a full-blown redemption arc during the Chinese Fireball arc where he becomes the protagonist's partner in raising a baby dragon, where he even admits by the end of it that the Player Character is 'not so bad.'

     Kevin Farrell

Kevin "Kev" Farrell

Voiced by: Karen Strassman

One of the Hogwarts student companions for the protagonist, sorted into the Gryffindor house.

  • Animal Motif: His Patronus charm is a hedgehog.
  • Ship Tease: With Robyn. It's so much of an Everyone Can See It between them that even the Player Character slips up and says they'd make a 'nice couple' before correcting themself to say a 'nice team.'

     Lottie Turner

Lottie Turner

Voiced by: Olivia Hack

One of the four Hogwarts student companions for the protagonist, attending the same house as the protagonist.

  • Disappeared Dad: Her father disappeared before she came to Hogwarts. In fact, he was killed by Bly in his attempt to steal their family heirloom.
  • She Cleans Up Nicely: Get her affection to 5, and you can have her wear a very nice dress to go dancing with you.

Hogwarts Staff

     Tropes in general
  • Badass Teacher: Almost all of the teachers participated in the final battle against the Death Eaters.

     Minerva McGonagall
The current Headmaster of Hogwarts
