Genji Perfect Seiha

    Shun Izaki

portrayed By: Sousuke Takaoka

  • Adaptational Attractiveness: Much like other characters. He is noticably more good looking in the film compared to his manga counterpart.
  • Adaptational Wimp: Zigzag. While his film counterpart last only less than 3 minutes with Serizawa, His manga counterpart had a full chapter dedicated to their duel. Despite this, during the war with housen, it's with Tokaji's assistance that he manages to defeat one of housens leader in the manga, while in the film Izaki defeated him along with his army singlehandedly.
  • Arch-Nemesis: He and Yuuji never liked each other since they were freshmen.
  • Broken Pedestal: He almost has this about Genji, due to his constant fooling around. It's to the point that he himself challenged him to a fight. It doesn't last though, since Genji told him the reasons behind his actions and that he is still the man he knew.
  • Number Two: He is the second in command of The GPS.
  • Undying Loyalty: To Genji. He will carry him in his shoulder to become Suzuran's leader. In fact, when everyone thought that Genji had given up on fighting housen, he was the one who convinced them, that he only did it in order to protect them. Thus, restoring everyones faith and convinced them to join their leader in battle.

    Chuta Tamura

Portrayed By: Suzunosuke

  • Blood Knight: He gets really hyped up during fights.
  • Combat Pragmatist: In his duel with a Housen leader when he engages him in a test of strenght. Knowing he is no match, Chuuta used his strength to fully overpower him a bit, before socking him in the face when he is shock. He knows too well that their in a fight.
  • Defeat Means Friendship: Out of all the key members of GPS, he is the only one who Genji fought and defeated. Nevertheless, Chuta gladly accepted his loss and swear his allegiance with Genji.
  • Heterosexual Life-Partners: He is the first person that Genji befriends in Suzuran and has been by his side ever since. He is the one who hangs out with Genji the most. More notable in the manga, where Chuuta is almost never seen not around his boss.

    Takashi Makise

  • Attempted Rape: A somewhat comedic example in the second film. He sets up a date with a girl at the lake alone before taking out a condom he just bought and looked as if he cant hold back the urge. Thankfully, Chuta stops him by pushing him in the lake, and when the girl found out what he's trying to do, she understandably broke up with him.
  • The Big Guy: His role in the GPS, although he is shorter than Chuta and Genji, He is the biggest in size.
  • Chivalrous Pervert: Makise is a total pervert and in fact was shown buying a condom and tried to engaged in sex with a girl in thr second movie. Despite this, he is one of Genji's most trusted allies and judging by his misaimed rage at the TFOA, hates violence against woman.
  • Saying Too Much: One of his trades in the films. He accidentally revealed a set up on him being a hero that saved one of the girls on his and Genji's already akward double dates with their respective girls and in the second movie after Chuuta pushed him to the river, he revealed that he bought a condom to used on his girlfriend in front of her. This unsurprisingly led her to dump him.
  • Use Your Head: His signature moves consisted of headbutts.
  • Undying Loyalty: To Genji,He never lost faith in him.

Serizawa Army

    Tamao Serizawa

Portrayed By: Takayuki Yamada

The leader of Suzuran's biggest faction during Genji's era, The Serizawa Army. He and his faction was the closest group to dominate the school before Genji transferred.
  • Adaptational Nice Guy: In the Manga compared to the film. While he is still standoffish around Genji, unlike in the film where his refusal to follow him was implied to be because of his own pride clashing with Genji's, his manga counterpart lacks this trades. In fact, he refused to take action during Genji's factions weakened state despite Yuuji's advice and is annoyed that Genji is out fooling around instead of taking the right actions to rule Suzuran. His unwillingness to follow him was also not because of a mutual pride, but rather because Genji lacks the reesolves needed to be a leader of Suzuran. And when Genji finally found that resolve Serizawa finally decided to bow to him.
  • Arch-Nemesis: Utsuburou Ryu, The guy who put One of serizawa's friend in a hospital. He has a personal vendetta with him, while Ryu really wants to fight him.
  • Big Bad : Of the first film, although he never did anything Bad.
  • Everyone Has Standards:
    • He punches the hell out of his members after they kidnapped Ruka(Genji's girlfriend) just to secure their power.
    • In the second film, He tries to stop Genji from fighting Rindaman after the latter just got beaten to a pulp.
  • Foil: To Genji. His fighting styles are combination of MMA and wrestling while Genji just relies on Good old Fisticuffs. He is from a poor background while Genji is the son of a Yakuza lord. and lastly He is short while Genji is tall.
  • Pet the Dog: Twice in the second film, first when he defends his old senior from housen, and later when Chuta mentions that when Genji passed out from fighting Rindaman, Serizawa carried him to their base.
  • Pint-Sized Powerhouse: He is the shortest of his crew, and one of the strongest person in suzuran.
  • Villains Out Shopping: When not fighting, He is either cooking corndogs and goofing around.
  • The Rival: He is Genji's main rival in suzuran. He is implied to be this with Narumi, housen's leader.
  • Took a Level in Kindness: He warms up to Genji and finally decides to join his faction during the war with housen acknowledging him as the 'Captain' of their faction.
  • Wrestler in All of Us: He uses a german suplex, dropkicks and a DDT as to finish of his opponents.

    Tatsukawa Tokio

Portrayed By: Kenta Kiritani

A member of the Serizawa Army. He is Serizawa's best friend and right hand man.

  • Adaptational Wimp: Zigzagged in the manga. Unlike his film, counterpart he does not suffered from a cerebral disease that required him to wear a head gear. However, unlike his film's counterpart, where he decimates a entire hall of Housen students, his manga counterpart only fought a dozen of them before coming face to face with another housen ledear, Rikiya, and then losing.
  • Childhood Friend: With Genji. They are middle school buddies who hanged out to find a best place to watch the sunsets and aside from a brief scuffles, they seem to be in good terms with one another.
  • The Heart: seems to be this in the Serizawa Army. As it is after he was sent to the hospital that the rest of the crew sans Serizawa started scheming to the point that it went too far by kidnapping innocent girls just to spark war. He also tried to be a mediator for Genji and Serizawa in the Suzuran and Housen conflict.
  • Long-Haired Pretty Boy: Unlike the films, where his hair barely reach his neck, his manga conterpart has a lengthy hair that reaches his shoulder. In addition, he also has softer facial features compared to other characters to go along with it.
Rikiya: So there are some decent looking guys in Suzuran.
  • Non-Action Guy: In the first movie, due to his cerebral disease. He did not participate in the climatic Mob War.

     Yuuji Tokaji

Portrayed By: Kaname Endo

The brains of the Serizawa Army and the one that comes up with schemes for the faction's control of Suzuran.

  • Adaptational Wimp: Zigzagged in the manga. Unlike his film counterpart, he did not take on an entire hall of Housen students but instead take out a few and then challenged The Brute of the Housen's leaders, Matoba Toshi, where he lost. Despite this, he still puts up an impressive fight and tired the big man enough for Izaki to finish the job, whereas his fight in the film were offscreen.
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: Him pitting the GPS and The Armament resulted in their leader, Bandou, to gain a level of respect for Genji and eventually decide to help him evening the odds against the Serizawa Army in their battle, whereas beforehand the latter faction completely dominated the GPS by sheer numbers alone.
  • The Rival: To Shun Izaki. Both have hated each other ever since they were freshmen. They eventually bury the hatchet in during the war with Housen.
