Wow that season looks horrid, maybe like 3 shows that look decent...

Also yeah wow Netflix seems to producing absolute crap.

As someone who is a fan of the manga, I genuinely hope they don't botch Hinamatsuri.

How far can they actually get in just 12 episodes of LOGH?

I wouldn't go that far, but it is starting to feel like Spring has become the dump season lately

Closer to 24 episodes— This'll be followed by a second season (that's doing something weird with premiering in theaters but is the same overall length). Which I understand isn't going to be nearly long enough to cover everything even if they rush, but hey

Okay, so, Amanchu season 2, and... Uma Musume? Is that really all there is to look forward to? I wouldn't even give the latter a look if it wasn't PA Works, but it sounds like they may make an actual effort with it...

Man. I'd check out Hoozuki no Reitetsu too if the first season hadn't already ground its joke premises into the ground.

Fist of the Blue Sky, Highschool D x D, and Persona 5 for me.

I want to watch Highschool DXD but I need to catch up first... and I have no idea where I stopped watching before.

Sound like you might like Comic Girls. Manga's not great, but the anime might be better

Fist of the Blue Sky and High School D×D are both going to be pretty ugly. Just, worth keeping in mind

High School Dx D Hero looks better then the other seasons from a pure animation standpoint.

And Devilman Crybaby ain't all that "Edgy" (Seriously, this is such a buzzword nowadays).

• Not hyped for Highschool Dx D, the character designs look like ass now and the show forgot exactly what made it good, the funny and the different take on harem hijinks, instead it is now generic fighting series no 32438427.
• Persona 5 might end up being good but the games have not translated too well to anime, they have to rush so much.
• Jikken-hin Kazoku : looks interesting a platonic Daily Life With Monster Girls I think.
• Tada-kun wa Koi wo Shinai : romance with a foreigner, has potential
• Comic Girls : might be an interesting CGDCT series
• Uma Musume: Pretty Derby : just for the WTF factor.

WIXOSS (Though that one is hard to tell.), Boku no Hero Academia, Persona 5, Shokugeki no Souma, and Steins;Gate 0 are all coming out that season. I don't even like Sword Art Online but Gun Gale Online Alternative as written by a different author so there's a chance that might be good as well. Next season isn't nearly as bad as you all are making it out to be.

Not sure whats wrong with High School Dx D being a fighting series with a legit harem (Not like the so called Harem Genre works that actually aren't true to life harems at all) on the side.

With Negima having devolved into UQ Holder, someone has to uphold the battle harem genre.

Josei romance. You can tell it's josei and not shoujo because it's not rapey

Battle Harem would require the others to fight, its been a while but last season it was all Issei all the time.

I'm looking forward to Chio-chan, Mahou Shoujo Ore, and Golden Kamuy. The first two's manga were funny as hell, and the latter has a really good balance of action and comfy.

Conversations. Dunno what to make of this one. Sounds like it should be shorts?

I'm excited for the Captain Tsubasa David-pro remake. The scans of the original manga are a load of shit, and I want to go through it properly this time; both because it's a childhood favorite of mine, and it fascinates me as kind of a Japanese cultural touchstone.

The Persona 5 anime is going to be a load of piss, but whatever; I'm excited for the main character's characterization, and the good moments that'll be uploaded on Youtube.

…Huh, so apparently Radiant is getting an anime. If you've never heard of it, that's because it's not a Japanese manga, but a French one. And I just remembered that I had made a sandbox of the thing without ever launching the actual page.

Considering the source material, it might be a Franco-Japanese co-production.

edit: Huh, the news has disapppeared… I guess it wasn't true. A pity.
