    Sparda

Click here to see his true form

The Legendary Dark Knight, the being that started it all... Sparda is a rogue demon who saved mankind centuries ago and father of Dante and Vergil. He is also one of the founding members of Fairy Tail.

  • The Ace: The most powerful warrior of all ages, Sparda was known to have defeated entire armies of demons by himself. His strength was so extraordinary that he is outright worshiped by an entire church. And in addition to his god-like powers, he has a phenomenal intelligence to match it.
  • Adaptation Expansion: In canon, he is just mostly mentioned a lot, but the Devil Sword Sparda carries his essence that allows him to project himself as a spirit just like Mavis.
  • Archenemy:
    • The Dark Knight is Mundus' nemesis, due to being the one responsible for stopping his armies and sealing him away. Even when many centuries had passed, Mundus still holds a massive grudge towards Sparda, as he tries to destroy everything that was shaped by his legacy.
    • If his reaction to finding out that Dante is Sparda's son in any indication, he may have been this for Acnologia as well. Its later confirmed by a mural that the two fought each other during the Dragon King Festival, and Sparda eventually reveals it was Acnologia who took his life.
  • Bash Brothers: He and Igneel were this.
  • Been There, Shaped History: Sparda was one of if not the most influential figure in the history of Earthland. He alongside Igneel sealed away Mundus and severed the link between both realms in order to stop the demonic invasion. Sparda was also a mentor figure to the Black Wizard Zeref who would grow to be a very important figure in Earthland's history as well and helped him create the Etherious. He later founded the Order of the Sword and led it for many years and hid away the Infinity Clock after it was created. If that wasn't enough its revealed that Sparda was one of the founders of Fairy Tail and two of the other founders including the first master were his daughters and Dante, Nero and Vergil are all his sons. Levy commented at one point that Sparda was connected to everything.
  • The Casanova: He was apparently quite a ladies man back in the day. Getting married to Eva caused him to drop it though.
  • Clone Jesus: What the Order of the Sword attempted to do with their initial attempts at harvesting Sparda's genetic material from his corpse. According to Agnus, however, all their attempts ended in failure, so he decided to simply extract Sparda's DNA and put it in a nun's ovum in order to create a new child of Sparda's bloodline, hence Nero.
  • Cool Uncle: He became a wonderful uncle to his niece, Lucy.
  • The Dreaded: The most feared being in existence. Even those who are arrogant have immense fear of the Dark Knight for his brutality to the point that his name is hated just as much as it is feared throughout the forces who dares threaten the world, considering how he almost singlehandedly defeated and sealed all of them two thousand years ago.
  • Expy: Of Batman and Superman, as well as a tiny bit of Norse Era!Kratos. A dark and ruthless hero with a deep desire to protect all life but is beloved by the innocent for his benevolent actions but even though he wasn't human but he was more human than anyone ever be while feared by those who deserve to be for his sheer brutality and status as the Dreaded. But he is also a father who hates himself for his heinous actions, not wanting his children to know what he had done before he rebelled.
  • Genius Bruiser: His power and skill gave him a well earned title as the greatest warrior on Earthland, and Modeus mentions he also served as The Strategist during his time as top general under Mundus, making optimal use of the forces under his command and learning from his mistakes. Origins reveals his intelligence extends to areas outside of combat as well, being well versed enough in magical theory to attain a position of a teacher at the Mildian Mage Academy where he met a young Zeref.
  • Generation Xerox: It turns out Dante inherited his Casanova Wannabe traits from him, with Mavis saying that Sparda was quite the ladies' man.
  • Greater-Scope Paragon: Since his rebellion had began, Sparda has committed countless acts of justice, much of which has an impact in the present era. He defeated Mundus two millennia ago and sealed off the demonic realm, the Dark Knight was good friends with the dragons and Zeref of all people, and helped found Fairy Tail. Sparda would've even been its first Guild Master, but not wanting his nemesis to target the guild, he instead let one of his eldest children, Mavis took his place as master and had his name scrubbed from Fairy Tail's official history.
  • Interspecies Adoption: Sparda (demon) raised Mavis and Zera (human) as his adoptive daughters after Blue Skull's raid on the Red Lizard.
  • Master Swordsman: Gajeel at one point declared that Sparda was the greatest swordsman in history and its clear that none of his three sons who are all master swordsmen themselves can at the moment at least compare to him.
  • Mr. Exposition: The Father of Justice provides a lot of information on Zeref, Mundus, the Gods, the Etherious and the history of Earthland and the Underworld to Fairy Tail.
  • Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Sparda helped Zeref create the Etherious, but they were intended to be weapons of last resort if Sparda himself couldn't find a way to dispel Zeref's curse and Zeref himself went Jumping Off the Slippery Slope. After their creation, Sparda and Zeref bound the demons' book with Body Link Magic tied to Sparda's life to ensure they wouldn't go on a rampage until that point...but unfortunately, when Sparda died the Etherious were unsealed and immediately began setting to work on their mission to find and kill Zeref regardless of collateral damage, including Deliora's rampage and the tragedy on Gray's life.
  • Old Friend: The Hero of Heroes had been friends with quite a few people. This includes Kurenai, Zeref, Precht, Igneel, Anna, and the Celestial Spirit King.
  • World's Best Warrior: Sparda in his prime was considered the strongest being in Earthland, with his only superior being Acnologia given the dragon was the one who ultimately killed him, and even then they were pretty even with each other, with it being implied he was the one to give the dragon his scars. He was also a brilliant strategist and a fine teacher, considering the kind of warrior Modeus is.

The mother of Dante and Vergil and the wife of Sparda who was killed by demons a long time ago.

  • Cool Big Sis: She's this to her younger sister [Layla Heartfilia. In Key of the Starry Heavens, they even got a picture book of the two is named "Eva and Layla: The Best Sisters Ever", with each other growing up together as babies, kids, teenagers, and adults.

    Igneel
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/igneels_image.png

A Fire Dragon that raised Natsu and taught him Fire Dragon Slayer Magic.

  • Arrogant Kung-Fu Guy: According to Natsu, Igneel could be quite arrogant at times. Though, considering that he not only survived the war with Mundus but even helped seal him away indicates that he had pretty good reasons to be cocky about his strength.
  • Bash Brothers: He was good friends with Dark Knight Sparda in the past as he was his closest ally from all the Dragons and fought alongside each other with him to stop the demon emperor Mundus and seal Temen-ni-gru.
  • Greater-Scope Paragon: Igneel alongside Sparda managed to seal Mundus away, ending the demonic invasion of Earthland.
  • I Am Big Boned: In a flashback, when he wants to teach Natsu Soul Fire healing spell to give someone the same healing and Natsu saying because there big and fat only to him hit Natsu on the head and saying it is muscle.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/baul.png

  • Dies Differently in Adaptation: In canon, Dante killed him, but here Dante tried to spare him. But Baul wanted Dante to finish him, so instead he decided to attack his guildmates, almost harming Wendy, but Modeus kills him instead.
  • Fantastic Racism: When confronted by an angry Natsu and learns that Dante joined Fairy Tail, he calls them lesser beings despite Sparda and Modeus protecting the humans.
  • Mirror Character: According to Modeus he is similar to Natsu in that they both want to fight someone strong but Natsu doesn't either kill or take his opponent powers.
  • Would Hurt a Child: He almost got Wendy using his claw but only for Modeus to protect her while forced to kill his brother.

    Anna Heartfilia
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/annas_appearance.png

An Celestial Spirit wizard who was the ancestor of Lucy, Eva, and Layla.

  • Adaptational Badass: In canon, it was stated by Aquarius that she was an amazing Celestial Spirit wizard, here she's confirmed by Sparda's projection that she was the greatest Celestial Spirit wizard of all time, and the fact that she was the Dark Knight's student indicates she learned plenty about combat in general. The fact that Lucy's Morningstar whip is referred to as a family gift from Sparda also implies she was proficient in its use.
  • The Apprentice: In Neo Oracion Seis, it was revealed that she was a student of Sparda himself.

    Layla Heartfilia
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/300px-Layla_2210.jpg

  • Big Sister Worship: She is pretty fond of her older sister Eva.

  • Related in the Adaptation: She's the younger sister of Eva, Dante and Vergil's mother, making her their aunt.
  • Secret Secret-Keeper: Layla, alongside her husband Jude, have known Sparda, his wife Eva, and the twins Dante and Vergil. In order for demons of the Underworld to not massacre Heartfilia mansion, she and Jude have kept the secret from Lucy so that they don't get caught in it.

  • Related in the Adaptation: By virtue of marrying Layla, whose sister was Dante and Vergil's mother, making him their uncle.
  • Dies Differently in Adaptation: In Chaos Unleashed, it was revealed that through Imitatia, Sanctus has killed Jude by implanting a fatal tumor in his brain, resulting in his death.
  • Secret Secret-Keeper: Jude, alongside his wife Layla, have known Sparda, his wife Eva, and the twins Dante and Vergil. In order for demons of Underworld to not massacre Heartfilia mansion, he and Layla have kept the secret from Lucy so that they don't get caught in it.

  • Lovable Sex Maniac:
    • When he faces Vergil and says that he will protect Lucy's sweet body, Vergil at first is somewhat disgusted by this and thinks that he doesn't say those things on his own accord, much to Lucy's frustration and anger, telling him that she doesn't tell him to do that.
    • He does this to other female members of Fairy Tail especially with Lisanna in Edolas arc, when she wears, just like Lucy, a bikini with a long skirt, with the white-haired girl asking Lucy if he always says this stuff to her, with blonde girl replying he does and that she doesn't like it. He does it again with Lisanna's Animal Soul: Bull, saying she has a good-looking outfit on her, with the poor girl freaked out by it and Lucy facepalming when she tells him that he's already a handful for her and begging him not to do it to her female friends.

Lucy: So… you constantly yelling at me and making death threats was…?

  • The Worf Effect: She is the most powerful of Yukino's spirits and the most powerful of the Celestial Zodiacs. Her being defeated by Kagura in a few seconds establishes Mermaid Heel as a force to be reckoned with. Especially with the reveal of Kagura possessing a Devil Arm as her main weapon.

The Edolas version of Eva, the counterpart of Dante's mother and aunt of her niece Lucy Ashley.
  • Chekhov's Gunman: She is, in fact, the first clue that Dante, Lucy, as well as Vergil, are related to each other. Unlike her Earthland counterpart, she never married (when she found out that Dante is her Earthland counterpart's son, Dante responds that his dad is unique).
  • Like Father, Like Son: Well, alternate son, but she has plenty of moments that shows she is just as snarky as Dante is.
  • Team Mom / Parental Substitute: She is, apparently, the leader of Edolas Fairy Tail and she is the only one that can fully control her aggressive Tomboy niece Lucy. She stops her from intimidating her fellow guildmates (especially Natsu Dragion), scolds her to stop torturing Natsu, with her niece telling that she isn't her mom with her telling that she is her aunt. When Edolas is losing its magic and her niece starts panicking Eva tells her to calm down. Eva comforts Lucy and, saying she is proud of her when Lucy decides to change the ways of the guild.
    • When she meets Earthland Wendy she plays with the young Sky Dragon Slayer's hair finding her cute, and says she looks like her Wendy's younger sister.
    • When she picks up the group with Natsu Dragion in the Fireball car, she tells Lisanna that her siblings are worried about her, and she applauds Lisanna for her bravery. Along with the other guild members, she knows that Lisanna is not their Lisanna, but doesn't want to break Mira and Elfman's ignorance of who she is. After Lisanna returns to Earthland, she talks with Mira and says that Lisanna has returned to her family, leading to Edolas Mira smiling.
    • And when she first encounters Dante she finds his name quite nice and can't help but feel concerned about him. When he confesses Eva's counterpart was his mom (much to her surprise,) telling her that she died and he has her last gift (Perfect Medallion), she starts to hug him, bonding with her's counterpart's son. Dante cries when he is forced to return to Earthland, wanting to take her too, but she tells him that he belongs to Earthland and her to Edolas but tells him that his mother would be proud of her son making him shed tears and smiling.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/nelo.png

A Demon created by Mundus using the essence of Sparda, Dante, and Vergil. He is sent by the demon emperor to conquer Edolas.

  • Always Someone Better: Nelo Angelo is even more feared by the wizards of Edolas Fairy Tail than Erza Knightwalker, having destroyed entire guilds by himself. Bringing it up seems to be a Berserk Button for her.
  • Arc Villain: Alongside Big Bad Ensemble with King Faust.
  • Asshole Victim: Although Faust was a tyrant, he got an sympathy from the civilians, soldiers, and the captains after his death and cremation, but Nelo Angelo is such a bastard that everybody finds his death as good riddance, especially from Edolas Fairy Tail.
  • Barbarian Long Hair: When he transformed into Onyx Reaper, his hair grows to the waist-length.
  • Blood Knight: He exclaimed that finally got the challenge and excitement he had been looking for during his battle against Fairy Tail (after they got their Magic and demonic power back), as no one in Edolas had provided him a proper challenge.]]

  • Dark Is Evil: He is called the Black Angel, for his black armor and his lightning-imbued demonic sword, color is dark and his skin is black. When he transformed into Onyx Reaper, onyx is an black gemstone.
  • Decomposite Character: Nelo Angelo is now his own character separate from Vergil, no longer being the brainwashed form of the latter.
  • Deflector Shields: An personal one as the Onyx Reaper.
  • The Dreaded: Erza Knightwalker is already a dangerous and feared individual by Edolas Fairy Tail, but Nelo Angelo is on a whole different level that makes the guild panic even more.
  • Evil Cannot Comprehend Good: when Modeus unleashes his Devil Trigger because he finally understood what Sparda meant when he taught him all these years ago, with Nelo Angelo unable to understand.
  • Hero Killer: He killed a lot of guilds against the kingdom including Edolas Lisanna and the former master of Edolas' Fairy Tail.
  • Know When to Fold 'Em: When he's injured and missing an arm, he retreats from E-Land to return to his dark chamber to call out his master Mundus to grant him more power, thus becoming the Onyx Reaper.
  • One-Man Army: Just as his donors, he's an very dangerous demon that wiped out many guilds in Edolas. As the Onyx Reaper, it became exaggerated.

  • Tin Tyrant: He's completely clad in armor with dark red cape. He loses his armor when he's turned into the Onyx Reaper.
  • The Worf Effect: He easily defeated Loke (the leader of the Zodiac keys), showing how truly dangerous he is.
  • Would Hurt a Child: He has no problems attacking children, such as Wendy and Coco.
  • Yellow Eyes of Sneakiness: His helmet's most unique feature is the yellow eyes that carry strong evilness within him that Dante could easily see the armored figure as a demon.

    Erza Knightwalker
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/knightwalker.JPG

The Edolas version of Erza Scarlet and Captain of the 2nd Magic War Division of the Edolas Royal Army.

  • Always Someone Better: Finds herself on the receiving end of this from Nelo Angelo, Dante, and her Earthland counterpart.
  • Berserk Button: Anytime someone mentions Nelo Angelo being superior to her, she shows to be quite angry.
  • The Dreaded: Is feared by the Edolas Fairy Tail, but not as much as Nelo Angelo.

The Magic Council

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/magic_council_ft_5321.jpg

The Magic Council is a major ruling body in the world of magic. Situated in Era, the Council consists of eight to ten of the most powerful wizards led by a Chairman and is what keeps all the wizard guilds in Fiore in check. For this reason, many of its members hold Fairy Tail in low regard for the property damage that they cause.

    In General
  • Never My Fault: They never acknowledge responsibility for the major problems Fairy Tail faces if those problems threaten the authority they pose over the magic world.
  • Ungrateful Bastard: Even if their hatred of Fairy Tail is somewhat justified for causing more harm than any of the monsters or villains they're supposed to stop, when the guild manages to stop the Savior from destroying the world, they tried to blame Fairy Tail for the whole mess! The only reason they didn't is because of multiple eyewitness accounts stating how Fairy Tail was saving lives and abate the Infinity Clock's power.
  • When All You Have Is a Hammer…: Are willing to resort to Etherion to deal with Grimoire Heart, and other massive threats. Called out on this by Dante, who points out they tend to resort to overwhelming force (regardless of collateral damage) as soon as their first attempt to stop a big problem fails.

Council members

    Grand Doma
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/300px-Guran_Doma_X791_8365.PNG

The chairman of the new Magic Council. He runs the Council with an iron fist and has absolutely zero tolerance for Fairy Tail, threatening to disband the guild for even the slightest offense.

  • Knight Templar: He lumps Fairy Tail with other, greater threats to their world such as Grimoire Heart and Zeref that need to be contained, if not outright disposed of, to make up for the previous Council's mistakes.

    Doranbolt
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/300px-Doranbolt_X791_5381.png
Click here to see his pre-timeskip appearance

A wizard who can use memory-altering magic to wipe and edit others' memories, and a form of teleportation magic called Direct Line to travel long distances in the blink of an eye. He used his magic to infiltrate Fairy Tail under the name "Mest Gryder" in an attempt to find evidence to disband the guild, but grew to regret it after the battle with Grimoire Heart.

  • Adapted Out: His canonically being a member of Fairy Tail that underwent a memory Gambit Pileup has been excised, as IronPrime117 felt it was both way too convoluted and added nothing to his character or the story, with him instead remaining a member of the Magic Council that infiltrated Fairy Tail, and Doranbolt being his real name.
  • Internal Reformist: Like Suzaku, Doranbalt decides to reform the Magic Council from within.

Ten Wizard Saints

The group of ten strongest wizards of the continent of Ishgar.

    In General
  • The Archmage: All members of the Ten Wizard Saints are considered this, at least as far as the Magic Council is concerned.
  • Elite Four: The Four Gods of Ishgar are a special group among the Wizard Saints, all of whom possess a level of strength far above that of the rest of the Saints. However, unlike in the canon, Kurenai is #1 ranked while God Serena, Draculos Hyberion and Wolfheim are bumped down to the ranks of #2, #3 and #4 respectively while Warrod holds the title of "Strongest Human Wizard" as #5 that Jura held in canon.
  • The Dreaded: Not to any law-abiding mages, but rather to dark mages who encounter them.
  • Not-So-Omniscient Council of Bickering: The Ten Wizard Saints do not work together as a team as they mind their own business or they were running a Guild until they were called for a meeting together. On the other hand, it is Downplayed as most Wizard Saints get along amicably when they meet each other and welcome Makarov back after his 7 year long disappearance. Except God Serena.

    Kurenai
See her folder here.

    God Serena
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ft_godserena_anime.png

The second-ranked Wizard Saint and he knows it all to while.

  • Adaptational Early Appearance: He appears in the Seven Year Gap Arc, loooong before he appears in canon.
  • Adaptational Wimp: In the canon story he's the first-ranked Ten Wizard Saint, here he's the second-ranked.
  • The Friend Nobody Likes: Among the Ten Wizard Saints, none of them like God Serena's arrogant attitude with Makarov being annoyed he hasn't changed in seven years.
  • Jerkass Has a Point: While he's an arrogant jerkass, and condescending in his assessment, God Serena is spot on when he says that Gran Doma might not best choice running the government if Crime Sorciére can deal with criminals more effectively than Rune Knights can while evading the latter. Even Kurenai admits he's right.
  • Know When to Fold 'Em: Arrogant as he is, even God Serena knows better than to get on Kurenai’s bad side, and immediately backs down when she chews him out.

    Draculos Hyberion
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ft_hyberion_anime.png

The third-ranked Wizard Saint.

    Wolfheim
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ft_wolfheim_anime.png

The fourth-ranked Ten Wizard Saint.

    Warrod Sequen
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/a3b5f0ce2766f93020460c22acb97106.png

The fifth-ranked Wizard Saint and one of Fairy Tail's founding members.

    Jura Neekis
See his folder here.

    Bruni
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/bruni_9.jpg

The seventh-ranked Wizard Saint. He's also the Edolas version of Igneel (like Porlyusica is for Grandeeney).

  • Badass Normal: He's from Edolas, meaning he doesn't have any magic power. The reason he became a Wizard Saint is because of his magic sword, Prometheus which can generate fire and he can shape it however he wants. That, combined with him being a master swordsman, allowed him to become a Wizard Saint.
  • Blood Knight: Bruni displays great love of fight, even saying that he wants to fight Erza out of excitement after seeing her defeat all of 100 Pandemonium monsters.
  • Canon Foreigner: Created to fill out the roster of Wizard Saints, since four members were never shown in canon, namely the replacements for Jose Porla and Siegrain and two other unnamed members.
  • Cool Sword: Bruni wields the Magical Sword Prometheus. Not only does it produce an infinite amount of Fire but he can shape that fire into anything he desires.
  • Manchild: When Makarov is back after the seventh year time skip he greeted that he is just as old and short as usual with Makarov glad that he didn't mature that much.
  • Master Swordsman: Declares himself to be one and considering he's a Wizard Saint he's almost certainly is.
  • Mirror Self: He's the Edolas version of Igneel (like Porlyusica is for Grandeeney) and mirrors the Fire Dragon King in several ways.
  • Red Baron: Master of Flames, due to his proficiency with Fire Magic is second to none.
  • Rugged Scar: Has a series of scars on his chest.

    Aurora
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/aurora_66.jpg

The eighth-ranked Wizard Saint.

  • Canon Foreigner: Created to fill out the roster of Wizard Saints, since four members were never shown, namely the replacements for Jose Porla and Siegrain and two other unnamed members.
  • Gold-Colored Superiority: Wears a golden armor.

    Gandelina
The ninth-ranked Wizard Saint.
  • Canon Foreigner: Created to fill out the roster of Wizard Saints, since four members were never shown in canon, namely the replacements for Jose Porla and Siegrain and two other unnamed members.
  • In the Hood: She always wears a hood over her head, with Makarov joking that he would say she's aged gracefully in the past seven years if he could actually see her face.

    Makarov Dreyar

The Kingdom of Fiore

The government that runs Fiore.

    Toma E. Fiore
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ft_toma.png

The King of Fiore.

  • The Good King: He's a good and fair ruler who loves wizards and shows concern for the common citizens.

    Hisui
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/hisui_2.png

The Princess of Fiore.

  • Adaptational Intelligence: She's a bit more cautious then in canon being prepared to acknowledge the idea that she's being tricked and even makes some preparations to close the Eclipse Gate in the event of an emergency. Sadly for her Vergil and Future Rogue are smarter and had failsafe's of their own to keep the Gate from closing.
  • Adaptational Karma: When asked on Deviantart the author has confirmed that Hisui will not be getting off lightly for her involvement in the Eclipse Project.
  • Unwitting Pawn: She doesn't realize that she's merely being used by Future Rogue and Vergil to summon an army of dragons from the past.
  • Well-Intentioned Extremist: The Eclipse Plan entails killing Zeref and Acnologia before the former becomes immortal and the latter becomes a dragon. Later, she reveals the Eclipse 2 Project, which will eliminate a huge number of a (supposed) demon army by using the Eclipse Gate as a weapon.

    Arcadios
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/ft_arcadios_anime.png

Commander of the Fiore Knights' Sakura Squadron.

  • Affectionate Nickname: He was called "Dio" by the Sakura Squadron according to the Fiore Royal Army soldier who told Yukino about that.
  • The Captain: He is the leader of the Sakura Knights.

    Darton
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/FT_Datong_2278.jpg

Fiore's Minister of Defense.

  • Godzilla Threshold: Once he learns about the (suppose) demon threat, he changes his tune about Eclipse.
  • Good Is Not Nice: He locks up Lucy and Yukino for their involvement in the Eclipse Plan, though it's abundantly clear that the project poses a serious risk to the timeline.

Wolf Knights

A unit of wizards that serve the kingdom in secret, acting as executioners in the Palace of Perdition.

    In General
  • Adaptation Name Change: Instead of Garou Knights or Hungry Wolf Knights, here their name is just Wolf Knights.
  • The Dreaded: Jellal mentions they're greatly feared even by dark wizards due to their ruthlessness.
  • For Great Justice: They execute criminals in the name of justice and the Kingdom of Fiore.

    Kama
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kama.png

The leader of the Wolf Knights.

  • Knight Templar: Like in canon he's pretty zealous about executing criminals in the name of the Kingdom of Fiore.
  • Teeth-Clenched Teamwork: He clearly hates the idea of working with a demon like Moloch, but since the Wolf Knights need the extra manpower to go against Fairy Tail and Crime Sorciére, he frees him from captivity anyway.

    Uosuke
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/uosuke_8038.png

An executioner dressed like a Japanese fisherman. His magic, Earth Effect, allows him to turn the terrain around him into hazardous environments at will.

  • Beware the Silly Ones: His ridiculous appearance and childlike demeanor fail to prepare Lucy and Yukino for his deadly magic.
  • Elemental Powers: Due to his Earth Effect magic, he can cast spells based on what is around him.

    Neppa
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/neppa_7992.png

An executioner who prefers to melt his victims with magic acid.

  • Acrofatic: Despite his huge girth, he's able to jump around and dodge Panther Lily's attacks with ease.

    Cosmos
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/cosmos_8.png

An executioner who can summon all sorts of deadly plants.

  • Flower Motif: She uses flower-based magic, has a floral attire, and appears in a rose when she teleports.
  • Impossibly-Low Neckline: She wears a low-cut strapless coat that has nothing supporting it.
  • Green Thumb: She can summon deadly plants with various powers, including vines, explosive spores, and sleeping gas.
  • Man-Eating Plant: Can summon some, though they're not her best summons.
  • Meaningful Name: She's named after a flower.

    Kamika
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/kamika_7941.png

An executioner whose magic, Paper Storm, can conjure flurries of paper that produce different effects based on their color.

Sakura Knights

A unit of wizards under the command of Arcadios in the Royal Army of Fiore.

    Sakura Knights in General
  • Ascended Extra: In canon, they were The Ghost but here in this story, Word of God stated that they will play a role in future chapters after the Grand Magic Games.
  • Hero of Another Story: When newly appointed Sergeant Yukino wonders where the Sakura Knights are, a Fiore Royal Army soldier explained to her that they have been sent to deal with a surge of demon activity on the other side of the kingdom.
