  • Disappeared Dad: His father James Jackson died while his mother Beverly was pregnant with him, forcing his older brothers Roland and Jefferson to work and support their family.
  • Related in the Adaptation: He's also the younger brother of Jefferson Jackson and is cousins with Celia Forrestal/Skyrocket of the Power Company.
  • Strong Family Resemblance: Looks a lot like his older brother Roland.

    Chloe Decker
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/chloe_decker_earth_27.jpg
  • Action Mom: Mother of Trixie and a pretty competent cop.
  • Arbitrary Skepticism: Not as strongly as in the show, but she still refuses to believe Lucifer really is The Devil despite knowing about meta-humans and magic users.
  • Badass Longcoat: Wears a long coat to go with the weather of Star City.
  • Best Known for the Fanservice: In Universe. People tend to recognize Chloe for the famous nude scene she starred at Hot Tub High School than for any other work she did as an actress.
  • Fair Cop: As noted by Lucifer, she's pretty attractive for a police officer.
  • Good Parents: Despite her flaws, she loves her daughter very much and wants to do what's best for her.
  • In-Series Nickname: Detective, since unlike in the series when she and Lucifer first met, she was only an officer.

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/dan_espinoza_earth_27.jpg

  • Good Parents: Sure, he's a guy with issues, but he's at least a decent father for Trixie.
  • Took a Level in Jerkass: Chloe says that ever since his partner got shot, Dan became a complete douche, leading to their separation. Turns out he was being possessed by a demon, who made him shoot his partner while conscious and then covered it up, all in order to break Dan and control him more easily.

  • Related in the Adaptation: She's the estranged wife of Albert Davis and the mother of Zoe Davis.
  • There Are No Therapists: Averted. She is a therapist and besides being Lucifer's therapist, she's also Gabriel's.

  • Affectionate Nickname: Nomi calls her Neets.
  • Amicable Exes: She and Jillian Holtzmann are exes but still friends.
  • Badass Biker: Amanita rides a motorcycle to help her get around Star City easily during peak traffic hours. She is an exceptional motorcyclist, especially on the streets of her native Star City where she has an intimate knowledge of its freeways, streets, and back alleys.
  • Best Friend: Her best friend is Lorin Hammon.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: Amanita can become volatile and dangerous if those she loves are in danger. She prides herself on being a true 'ride or die' friend.
  • Dreadlock Rasta: She wears her hair in multicolored dreadlocks, which serve to emphasize her understanding, liberal nature. In addition, she clearly puts Nomi over any authoritarian figures.
  • Fangirl: Like Nomi, she loves Nancy Drew books.
  • Hippie Name: Doubles as Meaningful Name. Amanita's name comes from the fly agaric mushroom, which contains hallucinogenic compounds. Her mother is fittingly a hippie who was in an open relationship.
  • Honorary Uncle: She considers Ray Stantz one of her many "uncles".
  • Master Actor: Amanita is skilled in acting and improvisation. She studied acting in college, has performed parts in a number of amateur productions.
  • Master of Disguise: Amanita is not one to ever turn down a costume opportunity — especially for a good cause. She enjoys playing dress up and when she is dressed the part, her acting skills are only amplified as she is better able to "get into character".
  • Nice Girl: Amanita is a very kind and caring person.
  • Nonconformist Dyed Hair: Her braids are dyed dark purple, pink and blue, the colors of the bisexual flag, and she's the daughter of a very liberal former hippie.
  • Official Couple: With Nomi Marks.
  • Platonic Co-Parenting: Amanita has three fathers; Walter Steele, Fred Tuckman and Baxter Stockman. One of them is her birth father. It's just that no one is sure which one, as her mother had been with each of them around the time she was conceived. Nevertheless, they all love her as if she is their daughter.
  • Secret-Keeper: From the beginning she knows that Nomi is a Sensate and is helping her both come to terms with it and help other members of the cluster.
  • Twofer Token Minority: Amanita is a bisexual mixed race (black father, white mother) woman.
  • Who's Your Daddy??: Her biological father isn't known, but all three possible guys, Walter, Fred and Baxter, love her anyway as her dad.

    Grace Caplan
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/grace_caplan_earth_27.jpg
The liberal mother of Amanita Caplan.
  • Cool Old Lady: She's laid-back and kind, accepting Nomi as a member of her family and showing her far more affection than her own mother.
  • Really Gets Around: She was with three different men around the time Amanita was conceived.

    Lorin Hammon
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lorin_hammon_earth_27.jpg
The boyfriend of Archangel Raphael.
  • Affectionate Nickname: Raphael's Boy Toy.
  • Cure Your Gays: His parents thought they could "cure" his sexuality with many conversion camps, and while he pretended it worked, he eventually gathered the courage to come out to his parents.
  • The Fashionista: Lorin has an eye for fashion, interior design, and is a makeup artist and hair stylist — though these are all hobbies and he refuses to pursue these professionally.
  • Hellbent For Leather: Wears a nice black leather jacket.
  • Heroic Self-Deprecation: Lorin does not think highly of himself. He can easily fall into a depression if he is insulted or left to doubt his abilities or regard himself as a failure.
  • Interspecies Romance: He's a human in a relationship with an angel millions of years older than him.
  • Irony: His overly religious parents thought his sexuality was due to "demonic influence", and now he's dating an actual angel and impregnated another.
  • Recovered Addict: Like Lula he became addicted to drugs until he finally decided to get sober, meeting Raphael along the way.
  • The Runaway: He ran away from home after he had enough of his parents not accepting his sexuality, meeting Lula on the way to Star City.
  • Secret-Keeper: He's aware of Raphael's true identity and his familial problems.
  • Straight Gay: Doesn't act or look stereotypically gay.

    Lula McCoy
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/lula_mccoy_earth_27.jpg
Lorin's friend and Raphael's sort of live-in housekeeper and a recovered addict.
  • Bungled Suicide: She tried to kill herself by overdosing, but failed and ended up in a hospital, where Lorin found her and took her to Raphael, who would eventually offer her a job as his housekeeper.
  • First Friend: She becomes Michael's very first human friend on Earth, and later something more.
  • I Have Many Names: Louisa "Lula" McCoy, Lucy "Lula" Jones, Tallulah "Lula" Smith, Louisa "Lula" Jones, Lucy "Lula" Smith, Tallulah "Lula" McCoy, Louisa "Lula" Smith, Lucy "Lula" McCoy, Tallulah "Lula" Jones, Jane (alleged birth name, surname unknown).
  • Interspecies Romance: She eventually starts dating Michael Sword, an Archangel.
  • Lady Swears-a-Lot: She curses a lot and she's pretty unapologetic about it.
  • Mysterious Past: Very little is known about her past, only that she was a highschool dropout who fled from home and let drugs control her life for a long time.
  • Nonconformist Dyed Hair: Her hair is naturally brown, but has dyed it blonde in the middle and purple at the tips.
  • Only Known by Their Nickname: Her actual name is Jane, but prefers people call her Lula.
  • Platonic Life-Partners: With Lorin, being good friends but without an attraction towards each other.
  • Recovered Addict: Admits to Michael that she used to be a junkie, until she tried to kill herself, Lorin and Raphael saved her, and she eventually came around and kicked the addiction for the most part.
  • Street Smart: Lula is a "reformed" criminal. According to her rap sheets, she has a diverse set of skills. Among those skills there's manipulation and deception, seduction, pickpocketing, hotwiring and lock-picking.
  • Tank-Top Tomboy: Her tank-top is short enough to show her mid-section and she's not traditionally feminine.
  • Tattooed Crook: Has a heart in the middle of her chest, a star on her left collarbone and a butterfly on her right shoulder. This serves as a reminder of her less than stellar past as a junkie and petty criminal.
  • Vapor Wear: She clearly isn't wearing a bra underneath her tank-top.

    Bug (Travis Cody)
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/bug_earth_27.jpg
A hacker and the mentor of Nomi Marks.
  • Bunny-Ears Lawyer: He's a bit eccentric to say the least but a very good hacker. Bug is well known in the use, piloting, care, and maintenance of his houseboat and other common watercraft. He also claims to be a master of disguise.
  • Commonality Connection: He and Nomi bonded when she was Michael due to their difficult family lives, allowing her to stay in his apartment while he skipped town for a while.
  • Composite Character: Bug from Sense8 is combined with Travis Cody, an ally of Animal-Man.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: Bug is a very quirky guy.
  • Cunning Linguist: Bug has a good head for linguistic patterns. This makes him an excellent encrypter, and gives him incredible insight into decryption. Furthermore, Bug is multilingual. In addiction to English, Bug speaks Spanish, French, Italian, and most other romance languages — calling them the "language(s) of love".
  • Fanboy: Besides Lito Rodriguez being his favorite actor, Bug is well-versed in a number of facets of popular culture. Though "Bug does not do fanboy" — he is a hardcore herophile, an avid fan of foreign cinema, and a diehard meta-music fan (his favorites acts being Hex Girls, the Clash at Demonhead, and Scare Tactics — though he does seem to be listening to Sex Bob-Omb a lot recently).
  • Hawaiian-Shirted Tourist: Wears a hawaiian shirt with avocados in it, which goes well with his casual hacker vibe.
  • Lovable Sex Maniac: Bug regards himself as something of a classy ladies' man, a "make love, not war" type and a total "lover-and-not-a-fighter". Bug has also spent way too much time on the internet and has been exposed to a lot of perverse sexual imagery, which he has trouble unseeing and can quickly revisit at the mention of related topics.
  • The Mentor: Mentored Nomi Marks back when she was Michael into hacking.
  • Nice Guy: Quirkiness and lecherous behavior aside, he's a friendly and good-natured person who does a lot to help Nomi because he's grateful for what she did for him. He quickly accepted her transition and congratulated her on becoming her own woman.
  • No Social Skills: Bug has a habit of not properly filtering his thoughts from his words. Bug routinely puts his foot in his mouth. While this makes him endearing to his loved ones, it often unsettles strangers.
  • Only Known by Their Nickname: He's mostly known as Bug with very few people even remembering his name of Travis.
  • The Paranoiac: Bug lives in constant concern of "the Man" coming to get him.
  • Playful Hacker: He seems even less concerned with the possible repercussions of hacking than Nomi is.
  • The Smart Guy: Bug is familiar with high-tech gadgetry and cutting edge technology. Furthermore, he has connections in both government and private sectors that are willing to let Bug get his hands on various prototypes or restricted hardware.

Body Doubles

    Bonny Hoffman
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/bonny_hoffman_earth_27.jpg

Cloned daughter of Saraquael, Suriel is one half of the Body Doubles working for Requiem Inc. alongside her best friend, cousin and partner Carmen Leno/Camael. She and Camael were tasked with keeping an eye on Adam and harvest the worship that he has built up by killing him and cutting out his heart.

  • Adaptation Dye-Job: In the comics Suriel was a redhead, but here she's a blonde with some orange due to being composited with Bonny Hoffman.
  • Bling-Bling-BANG!: The telum dei, meaning "Weapon of God" this handgun was crafted in Heaven's forges, heated with empyrean flame and cast with celestial silver. Its sister is kept by Suriel's partner, Camael, these are just two of the many known telum dei. What makes this particular weapon and its sister unique is they are built in the form of modern handguns rather than swords or daggers of most telum dei.
  • Composite Character: Human Bounty Hunter Bonny Hoffman is combined with the Angel Suriel, who also antagonized the Resurrection Man.
  • Dimensional Traveler: At will, Suriel can pass through any dimensional barriers which she has authority to traverse. She is given extensive freedom to explore almost the whole of reality in pursuit of worship.
  • Good with Numbers: Bonny appears to know a good deal about how to run multiple businesses, or at least knows how to hire excellent managers. Her businesses have all been turning a considerable profit with a short turnaround time.
  • The Hedonist: Bonny appears to have little ambition other than to spend her money on her own personal pleasure (and the pleasure of her best friend). This is actually not a facade of their true identities.
  • I Have Many Names: Bonny Hoffman, Aurelia Steward, Ella Meyer, Ingrid Schulz.
  • Lady in Red: Wears a pretty red dress.
  • Lazy Bum: Suriel has a weak work ethic, thanks to Camael's influence.
  • Leg Focus: As the slit on her dress shows, she has some pretty legs.
  • Lovely Angels: With her best friend Camael. And literally since they're actual angels.
  • Lust: Suriel shares her mother's weakness for carnal pleasure.
  • Mafia Princess: Her public identity is the only daughter of a mob boss from Star City whose family was killed under orders from Daniel Brickwell.
  • Related in the Adaptation: She's the daughter of Saraquael and half-sister of Araquel and Senael, making her aunt of Nikki Nemzer.
  • Screw the Rules, I Have Money!: Having access to immense wealth and a steady supply of disposable income, Bonny is able to purchase properties on a whim, make use of a fleet of vehicles (including private aircraft), and hire security details to provide protection.
  • Sexy Slit Dress: Her dress comes with a slit for her leg, which fits her seductive personality.
  • Sole Survivor: Her public identity claims she was the only survivor of the massacre perpetrated by the Hard Knocks gang.
  • Statuesque Stunner: She stands at 5'10"/178cm tall and quite beautiful.
  • Strong Family Resemblance: Looks a lot like her mother Saraquael, including inheriting her silver-colored wings.

    Carmen Leno
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/carmen_leno_earth_27.jpg

Camael is the cloned daughter of Uriel. She's the other part of the Body Doubles working for Requiem Inc. alongside her best friend, cousin and partner Bonny Hoffman/Suriel. She and Suriel were tasked with keeping an eye on Adam and harvest the worship that he has built up by killing him and cutting out his heart.

  • Action Girl: Camael is an exceptional hand-to-hand combatant, on part with most of Earth's world-class professional martial artists. Her combat technique uses a lot of aerial maneuvers which can be amplified with the use of her wings when she is facing off against more dangerous opponents.
  • Bling-Bling-BANG!: Meaning "Weapon of God" this handgun was crafted in Heaven's forges, heated with empyrean flame and cast with celestial silver. Its sister is kept by Camael's partner Suriel, these are just two of the many known telum dei. What makes this particular weapon and its sister unique is they are built in the form of modern handguns rather than swords or daggers of most telum dei.
  • Dimensional Traveler: At will, Camael can pass through any dimensional barriers which she has authority to traverse. She is given extensive freedom to explore almost the whole of reality in pursuit of worship.
  • Femme Fatale: Carmen's past career likely gave her some experience with seductive techniques and a willingness to use her body as an instrument to achieve her goals.
  • The Hedonist: Carmen's pursuit of her acting career appears to have stalled due to her constant outings spent clubbing, dancing, and drinking with Bonny Hoffman. And this is not a complete facade in her true identity as Camael.
  • I Have Many Names: Carmen Leno, Endzela Lomidze, Flora Lowe, Melati Singh.
  • Kissing Cousins: She has no compunction about thinking of seducing her cousin Gadreel, despite him being married.
  • Lazy Bum: Camel shares her mother's weakness for idleness.
  • Lovely Angels: With Suriel. And literally since they're actual angels.
  • Lust: With Suriel's influence, Camael lives a promiscuous lifestyle.
  • Master Actor: Carmen is rumored to actually be a rather skilled actress. She has appeared to even have studied Shakespeare and can recite monologues from classical plays on demand. She may have what it takes to become an actual Glaberton starlet.
  • Never My Fault: Refuses to accept any of the blame for all the times she made her and Bonny's missions become more difficult.
  • Parental Abandonment: In her official biography her father is unknown and her mother Ursula died in an accident when she was only a teenager. In reality she never had a father and her mother Uriel is still around, just not particularly present.
  • Sleeves Are for Wimps: Wears a sleeveless shirt as part of her outfit.
  • Statuesque Stunner: She stands at 5'10"/178cm tall, the same height as Bonny/Suriel, and quite beautiful.
  • Strong Family Resemblance: Looks a lot like her mother Uriel, only with slightly darker skin, making her also resemble a bit her half-sister Rrall. She even has the same black wings as her mother.
