NintendoNate25 added examples onto Monster/One Piece that were specifically removed as per this part of the Special Efforts cleanup on Complete Monster. Can we safely remove the two examples (Big Mom and the Five Elder Stars) that he re-added?

Want to get Official word on a matter and nip a potential Edit War in the bud. I was recently PMed by someone asking me not to make a particular change to a character's name, even though the change I made is to the spelling of the name used in official English translations.
The specifics are the manga One Piece and the character of God Eneru. "Enel" is a frequently used fan translation of the name, alongside "Ener", but the official English version is Eneru. This is easily confirmed here with dub episode 158, titled "A Trap on Lovely Street! The Almighty Eneru!"
My own understanding, due in part to a previous Ask The Tropers entry I put in about work titles, is that the Localized title is the general preference. This in mind, when I saw "Enel" being widely used I edited it to "Eneru" when I saw it, sparking the edit-back and PM mentioned above.
Want hoping for an Official Ruling of sorts before I go making any further changes in the hopes of preventing an Edit War. On that note, should I instead post this in a forum thread rather than Ask The Tropers so that I can present a specific link as proof of the ruling either way?

Looking for an Official ruling in regards to the manga Wandering Son.
The series is about a pre-teen (later adolescent) boy and girl with transgender issues (i.e. the main boy would prefer to be a girl, the main girl would prefer to be a boy). There's been on-and-off arguments / edits in the past in regards to this part of the premise. Primarily on the question of whether or not Shuuichi and Yoshino should be referred to as their physical genders ("he" and "she" respectively), or by the gender they identify with ("she" and "he").
I have been a proponent of the physical gender, really for no other reason than simplicity. Using the she and he for characters that are portrayed as male and female as often as not is just pointlessly confusing, such as a Double Standard page that looked like the main character got in trouble because "she" wore a girls' uniform to school.
At least one other poster has changed the entire page more than once on the basis that the identified gender pronouns are the more correct option as that's how most real life transgenders would identify.
A general consensus in the Discussion page, a Trope Repair Shop thread, and even the Other Wiki, however, all go for the physical pronoun (or, at least, for the pronouns used in story in the case of the Trope Repair Shop.
A more minor matter is also changing the main boy's name to an In-Series Nickname used by only a couple of characters, but that's hardly a major concern compared to the gender pronouns. I'm hoping this can be resolved without having to put a lock on the page as a whole.
EDIT: As of this post, I've reverted the page back to he/she physical pronouns. Until said Official ruling, I'll make no further changes and will abide by whatever ruling is made.

I want to add "Diary of a Potato Bag" and "100 Days of Ace Being a Buttwipe" to the One Piece Fanfic Rec list, but I don't get how. I see that there's a template for it, but I don't understand how to use it. Is there an 'add a fanfic' option or do I have to edit the page?
Thank you for anyone who'll reply! ^_^

This editor appears to have grammatical issues as well as syntactical and formatting issues in their edits. I've cleaned up the Tari Tari page, but a quick glance at their other edits indicate the presence of similar grammatical issues. For now, a pm is the course of action I've taken...is anything else necessary?

Heads up to the Mods. There's an edit war brewing at Revolutionary Girl Utena.

I am looking for a cartoon I used to watch in the United States in the 80's, I am going to guess it was animated in Asia, it usually played in the same hour as the Mysterious Cities of Gold, on maybe nickelodeon or maybe one of the american broadcast networks on saturday mornings really early.
the main character was a girl, with mystical powers, who wore a large white headdress shaped something like an egyptian pharoah's headdress. Perhaps she was the last of her kind, or maybe and exile from her home world, or maybe looking for a way to save her doomed home world, but she was with a group of other travellers.
the ensemble had a couple of funny animal companions that looked like two yellow armadillos or aardvarks that roll themselves up into balls.

I have been wondering to do this, but we of the Lyrical Nanoha fanbase of TV Tropes have been facing a slightly erratic troper for about a year or two. His name is Akiyoshi.
See, he's a big fan of Signum, but after a certain day where Force manga issue released about her being absolutely demolished in battle (though surviving), this guy went nuts and went on and on making claims on How The Mighty Has Fallen and lost his faith to her. Long story, so we'll just skip that moment.
Now, more issues were released, and it shows a development that Signum has picked up the pace and scored a victory to the one who demolished her. We all rejoiced. This Akiyoshi, on the other hand, refused to rejoice and still think she hasn't restored her glory enough... in his eyes and continually haunt the Nanoha forum/thread, claiming that she's not restored enough while most forumers are already sick of his rambling.
Well this might sound okay, but then comes this... I added Signum's victory in the CMOA page of Force so at least fandom can be relieved. However, Akiyoshi went on to edit it to make it look LESS awesome because he thinks in his ridiculously high standard of awesome. Another troper named Justin_Brett was on the same boat as me, and once again get it to more about gushing on how much it's awesome... but then Akiyoshi edited it again to see it fit with his ridiculously high standard of awesome. At this point, I just reverted back to Justin's edit. But time will tell if Akiyoshi would revert it to his version again.
I can already sense an Edit War here. I am responsible because I added that point in the first place... but isn't Sugar Wiki and Crowning Moment Of Awesome a place where we gush and be positive rather than be paranoid and holding such a high standard that we have to force people to follow it? I hope this doesn't mean a banhammer needs to be thrown to Akiyoshi, but at least... perhaps mods could talk this out to him nicely at first? We tried talking, but he didn't seem to listen... But on the other hand, I think a ban would be a Disproportionate Retribution.
So yeah... Your aid will be most welcome. Thank you.

So why don't any of the Anime Fan Speak terms have examples, not even the ones without an English counterpart?

The YMMV.Mobile Suit Victory Gundam page has an issue over a contentious Complete Monster example. After nobody objected in the Special Efforts thread, Katjina Loos was removed from the list (albeit with a reason more snarky than I would have liked) by Ambar Son of Deshar. Without going to the thread to justify a restoration, Manwiththe Plan restored the example, and included "arguably," "depending on how you view the character," and a pothole to Alternate Character Interpretation.
Hoping to have someone step in so as to prevent this from becoming an Edit War situation.

Going through the WMG.Azumanga Daioh page, I found that, after an edit by jdubu03 on February 29, 2012, all of the curse words had been starred out, almost certainly by a censor bot (including running afoul of the Scunthorpe Problem). I can fix this eventually, with help of the history list, but it's going to take me some time. They haven't edited since then, but a suspension will be needed just in case.

I am questioning the user Ryan028's apparent mission to make this wiki think that Konata/Kagami is canon (for example, he removed the trope God Never Said That and changed the Chaste Teens section to reference the one-sided crush rumours, even going so far to add the "couple" to the Official Couple page), yet I have yet to see any real evidence. Is there anybody out there that can help me?

There's this guy named 'kotaro' who is adding extra cast members of the Sengoku Basara series, claiming that one of its High School AU spinoff, Gakuen Basara, is animated AND dubbed. With The Other Darrin galore.
The problem is, if you search via Anime News Network or Google, no source saying that Gakuen Basara is animated existed, and the listed cast member has no involvement whatsoever in this 'Gakuen Basara'.
I tried deleting and asking for source before it can be added back, but this guy just doesn't say the source and keep adding. Tropers... what says you? If not taken care of, I'm afraid this can evolve into an Edit War...
This isn't exclusively an anime question but is probably most common / prominent with it. I'm mostly wondering if there's an actual policy on the following situation or not.
Let's say a work is originally placed on this wiki under its original Japanese (or whichever language) name. Later, this work comes to the U.S. with an official translation and either a translated or altered title. Barring a widely accepted opinion of the work as a Macekre, should the original trope page be made to reflect the new/translated title, with the original as a redirect, or left alone and with the new title as a redirect?
To use a quickly remembered example: One anime we have on the wiki is Gokujou Seitokai, a series officially dubbed in the U.S. as Best Student Council. The wiki currently uses Gokujou Seitokai, with Best Student Council redirecting. Should that be shifted over to Best Student Council with GS as a redirect, or left as it is currently, as Gokujou Seitokai with BSC as the redirect?
I've come across this a couple of times before. Though I've mostly left it alone except in two particular instances where I was the one who originally created the work pages in the first place (Hourou Musuko / Wandering Son & Usagi Drop / Bunny Drop).
Like I said up top, I wondered if there was any kind of policy on this situation one way or the other.
