Yard it because the scarfs, capes themselves are more tropeworthy than the act of dangling.

In what way? I'm not opposed to it but I'm not sure what trope you're noticing here. Is it the "dangling by clothes" idea?

On second thought it's just "hanging clothes dangle". The only three examples don't show anything dramatic. Probably could be cut too.

How would the OP of a "9 wick starving trope" be less barebones? There's nothing more to analyze.

Mod hat off to say that I'm in favor of cutting. In addition to the wick count being low, 1,606 inbounds since 2012 isn't very good for a page from 2009.

I mean, the page is currently an index, which doesn't require wicks.

e: I see the pagetype was modified an hour ago, so not sure if it was treated like a Super-Trope.

With nine wicks, a low amount of inbounds, and less than one page's worth of edit history, it wasn't really treated like anything.

Based on the discussion page, it looks like the page type change to index was made in 2010 as a response to a Cut List request. Also, the original YKTTW has no replies, though the archived discussion implies it had some that got lost at some point through some technical glitch or other.

Sounds chairsy to me so I agree with cutting it.

Time to bring the scissors to cut Dramatic Dangling's cape and watch the trope fall off the skyscraper!
