This thread collates all requestsFor example regarding videos for moderators and engineersHow to... .
The policy on videos is here, the policy & general discussion here and maintenance discussion here.
All discussions need to occur in these threads; here we only enact finalized decisions.
Please keep in mind that moderators are likely not familiar with the work/s the video/s is/are from. As such:
- Mention the video's name.
- If you want a trope added or removed from a video, please explain how the video fits/doesn't fit the trope or link to other discussions supporting your proposal.
- If you want the description changed, please write up a draft for the description.
- Videos that lack a media source go to Videos Without a Source and shouldn't be reported here. If a source has been found, feel free to submit a request for it to be added to the video.
Requests that don't fulfill the above requirements will not be handled.

You were already told that video quality isn't enough to pull a video on it's own. So, don't repost this request again, please.
Macron's notesfor any video that has bad quality?
I think if the quality is so bad that it obscures the moment the trope happens, the video should be rejected. The quality of the videos so far are a bit fuzzy but I don't think they are that bad. We can keep them around until someone uploads higher quality version of them.

Macron's notesThe Nothing Is Scarier example for Doctor Who S 1 E 2 The Daleks should be merged into the Cliffhanger example.
Hank Hill Kicks Ass (Literal Ass-Kicking): Can you add King of the Hill S2 E19: "Leanne's Saga" as a media source?
This. I recently rejected a low-quality video because the trope was in the subtitles and they couldn't be read with the fuzz. But for a video that largely relies on visuals and audio, less-than-perfect quality is fine.
Keep in mind that we have some sources from the middle of the 20th century. We will never get perfect blu-ray quality for all videos.
Doing these requests.
Sorry, i used the wrong link. This is the recap page wanted to add as a media source: King Of The Hill S 2 E 21 Life In The Fast Lane AKA Bobbys Saga
The page WebAnimation.Fazbear And Friends sports a video ("Hide and Seek", example of Engineered Public Confession); however this page is a disambiguation and not a work.
The source should be corrected to Fazbear and Friends (ZAMination).
Thanks in advance
The Gravity Falls example under Finale Credits should have the finale episode "Take Back the Falls" as a media source.

I request that the mods who approve videos also maintain the Video Source content. Apparently, the lists are not up to date and the centralized approval process allows to fix this.
I'll do the above requests shortly.
As for , I don't think it's worth the effort. Videos are already auto sourced to their respective trope and work pages so I don't think we need to keep up with Video Source (I don't know if we need them at all to be honest but that's neither here nor there). Also, because videos can be on multiple trope pages unlike images, I think it would be cumbersome to review videos and add all of their sources to their respective pages. 5 different videos could easily cover 15-20 trope pages between them for instance.
Also, the video uploaders themselves and the rest of the community are also capable of adding pages to Video Source.

Macron's notesFrankly I just straight up don’t wanna; approving videos is already mentally taxing by itself without fumbling for Video Source links.
The video "Lil' Stanley" on Closet Geek has a clideo.com watermark

Uh, just out of curiosity, was it my request to have the Gravity Falls example under Finale Credits posted to its final episode that was declared not worth the effort?
Um, no. I was referring to the post directly above me. I actually left your request on another tab and forgot to save.

Let's go back (Bolivian Army Cliffhanger): can you add Super Sentai as a media source?

In what I fear may become a regular trend in the future, another video has been added to the wrong Sonic the Hedgehog 2 video page. This time it's a clip for Little Useless Gun.
On another note, could someone take a look at the video on Artificial Stupidity titled Seihou Kioh Gyoku? My issue with that clip is how poorly it illustrates the trope it's representing. For example, who is Morgan? Who is Erich? Which side of the screen should I be looking at? What is the supposed flaw with the AI? It seems that unless you're intimately familiar with this Bullet Hell game, the video clip provides nothing of value.

That video was watermarked so I rejected it.
and Done. I watched the Seihou video and agree that it isn't illustrative if you aren't familiar with the series.

Macron's notesCan you ask the uploader to reupload the clip (Let's go back (Bolivian Army Cliffhanger) ) without the watermark?
