4. The Once-ler is still a Corrupt Corporate Executive, but instead of being the bad guy, the story presents him as if he's in the right in spite of his actions.

5. There's random Product Placement for no reason.

7. The Lorax is supposed to be an evil antagonist, even though he is very heroic, and his species is now supposedly Always Chaotic Evil.

8. The narrative presents no good reason for the Once-ler's actions to be perceived as wrong, and instead only has the Lorax telling him that he has to change his ways.
