The page is just unfinished and looks like one person's half-formed idea. I say cut it and take it back to TLP to see if there's anything salvageable.
I don't see the point of this page at all, tbh.
JustForFun.Fusion Dance covers "Trope X + Trope Y = Trope Z" and the examples on the page are like, "this character has more than 1 trope to describe them" which is...expected. What's the point of listing things on this page when you can just list, say, Messianic Archetype and Anti-Hero on the Bleach character page? I don't think any of those are defined archetypes anyway.

I say cut but include some of the description into Archetypal Character. Probably just say "Some characters combine aspects of various archetypes to form more complex characterizations, like a Heroic Trickster or a combination of two opposing archetypes."

What is this even supposed to be other than "Messianic Archetype, but with other tropes mixed in, because without this idea, characters can only have one trope attached to them".
Kill it.
Also, I love the note about how Hidden Depths is always about two opposing archetypes, and it's always an example of this "trope" too.
As a side note, the internet archive says this page has existed since 2006. And it really shows. What is it with all the recent threads about ancient stub pages?

Nanoha Takamachi from the ''Franchise/LyricalNanoha'' franchise also qualifies by her patented "PowerOfFriendship delivered by [[DefeatMeansFriendship kicking]] ''[[DefeatMeansFriendship lots]]'' [[DefeatMeansFriendship of ass]]" method. Also from TV: The teaser trailer for Series/TwentyFour (see: http://24trailer.com/ ) unveiled in late October 2006 suggests that in this season Jack Bauer may be presented as a Heroic Messiah figure. Also, the Doctor from ''Series/DoctorWho'' in most of his [[TheNthDoctor forms]].
* Heroic Trickster -- A character who's just as happy pummeling villains with his wit as with his fists; ''Series/BuffyTheVampireSlayer'', Spider-Man, [[Series/DoctorWho the Doctor]].
* Messianic Anti-Hero -- See RefusalOfTheCall. A character dragged kicking and screaming to his destiny to save us all; Thomas Covenant The Unbeliever in ''Literature/TheChroniclesOfThomasCovenant''. Or, if we're going to be literary, the prophet Jonah from the [[Literature/TheBible Old Testament]]. Ichigo Kurosaki from ''Manga/{{Bleach}}'' also qualifies, as does [[Literature/{{Discworld}} Rincewind]], who has accidentally saved the world more times than he ever wanted to.

* Heroic Seeker -- Out to learn The Truth, even if he has to beat it out of someone. ''Series/MagnumPI'' and many detective characters.
* Heroic Messiah with Oedipal issues -- Luke Skywalker of ''StarWars''.
* HiddenDepths is what happens when two opposing archetypes are combined to throw off the viewer.
* Messianic Seeker - Locke from ''Series/{{Lost}}''. The Others have been waiting for him, but they're the ones who must answer his questions about the island.

It's been over a week, with overwhelming consensus in favor of a cut.
So do we just dewick and cutlist this, or is there any salvageable content that can be moved elsewhere?
There might be some who consider this to contain the germ of a valid trope. Not sure myself, tho.
I think turning this into a proper trope would be quite the task that is outside the capabilities of TRS. If someone wants to take a whack at it, sure, but imagine having to come up with (a) a ton of combinations per archetype (b) proper examples for each combo. I think incorporating it into Archetypal Character as previously suggested is the best and most practical option.

I've recently stumbled on Mixed Archetypes page and I'm simply confused what it is and what it was supposed to achieve. Whatever it was, it didn't went far and the indexing makes it all that more confusing.
