So Bad It's Horrible Cleanup

It's lazily put together, but the shorts themselves that make up the movie don't seem to be considered bad.

I have similar thoughts about the Disney Princess DVD.

Brightspark's been cut.

The Disney Princess entry's actually about the movie though. What's your issue with it, exactly?

Question: Is it ok to add This SPIN 100 Greatest Guitarists list? There are multiple reasons for putting it on there by itself (E.G. Putting in D Js who have never played guitar, excluding many famous guitarists, and the legendary quote, "Johnny Ramones' influence can be heard everywhere from Nirvana to Kelly Clarkson").

And I do have sources, including videos by Sound Of Ominous and Stevie T.

Again, really not a fan of opening the floodgates to ranking lists and reviews and stuff. It's just asking for people to deem articles SBIH on the basis of them being "bad opinions."

Not without further discussion but frankly, I wouldn't miss them.

Basically every IGN review would be on that page if we allowed it.

By that logic, "Greatest Songs of the Pop-Rock-Alternative-Garage Era," "AOL Radio's 100 Worst Songs Ever" and "Run for Your Life! It's the 50 Worst Songs Ever" should not qualify as examples. Should they be cut?

That's an overexaggeration if ever I've heard one. I agree that IGN has made some very bad reviews, but they've also made some really good ones too. Yes, even after they became notorious for their bad ones, believe it or not.

We'll probably get more activity discussing the matter on here, especially as the entries span subpages. I know one person in the thread's really adamant on keeping them, though.

I'm also OK with cutting the "worst songs" lists for declaring opinions to be "Horrible".

The entries in question are ON a subpage though. In fact, they're on a subpage of a subpage - the Other subpage of the Music subpage.

In any case, we should probably speak to the person who's "adamant on keeping them" before we do anything else with the lists.

I was only really making a point. People would put these reviews on that page if it was allowed regardless if it was Horrible or not just because it didn't match their opinion or they gave it a score they didn't like.

This debate includes Horrible.Other's Maxim list and any other possible countdown list, not just music ones.

The point is that other people are proposing lists and if we ban other countdown lists, it needn't be restricted to the Music subpages.

Trust me when I say, those are the only four lists on the entire page. Also, that's Maxim's list, not AOL's.

Okay, this conversation is getting a little confusing, so allow me to restart from scratch.

I have issues with the inclusion of lists as examples. General consensus is that they shouldn't be allowed, and I was almost about to cut the ones already listed, but for unspecified reasons, we need to have a discussion about this problem first. This is exactly what I want to do now (discuss the issue, that is.)

There's not consensus, it's like four people who don't want them against two people who want them when there's a lot more voices in this thread. That's the "unspecified reasons," and we don't need to specify that we need to talk about policies before implementing them. We need more input. Be patient.

I miss when Eight Point Eight allowed examples...

Personally, I feel like at least we should keep AOL, as most of the criticisms come from skewed opinions, incorrect facts, hurtful comments, and things that can actually be attributed to a “Horrible” status (And not just “opinion no agree with me”.)

Also, I just want to know that I meant “Greatest/Worst Songs of The Pop-Rock-Alterntive-Grunge Era”, and not “ 100 Worst Songs Ever”.

Maybe we should do a crowner or something? I'd say single prop but it seems some people think some of the lists could count.

Question: Why was my Ralph Breaks the Internet entry in animated films removed? Schaffrillas said it's a cinematic disaster, and a ton of people agree with him.

Because it has an 88% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Also, someone saying its Horrible isn't enough to put it under here.

An excerpt from Horrible.Animated Films:

• It isn't a Horrible animated film just because The Cartoon Hero, RebelTaxi, The Mysterious Mr. Enter, JonTron, AniMat, Bobsheaux, Media Hunter, PhantomStrider, CellSpex, Saberspark, Phelous, Schaffrillas Productions, and/or any other Caustic Critic reviewed it, or because it was featured on I Hate Everything's The Search for the Worst. There needs to be independent evidence, such as reputable critics (emphasis on plural) for example, to list it (though once it is listed, they can provide the detailed review).

It even explicably mentions the reviewer you're citing.

Because it's objectively not a movie hated by all but the smallest of groups. The scores on review sites are fine, the box-office sales were great, and one reviewer doesn't determine what does and doesn't count. See Fan Myopia and Reviews Are the Gospel.
