I've seen a few videos without listed sources so yes, there doesn't seem to be a rule against that.
I did that a few weeks ago and it went through, so yeah I think it's fine. Just remember to edit the media link if the work ever gets a trope page.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢Sorry for the double post. The video for Rainbow Pimp Gear has a broken break line.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢You know I had a great example for Computer-Generated Images which was the "Welcome to Jurassic Park" scene but it had a watermark in it.
God damn it.

Noticed another case of the Video Examples page being hidden. This time it's My Hero Academia. For some reason the page is only visible from the Manga page (and no, it isn't in the More tab).
Any idea what's going on? Edit: This one seems to be a global issue.

Can all the Steven Universe: The Movie videos be denied for the time being? It literally released yesterday and there's already a clip from one of the final scenes.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢There's more videos getting added, yet another from one of the final scenes...
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢This, plus a hard policy on spoilers like the rest of the wiki.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."The Steven Universe: The Movie videos for Drama Queen, Empty Nest, and Please, Don't Leave Me were removed for being spoilers; Villain Song and Curse Cut Short can probably stay, though the latter would fit better on Last-Second Word Swap.
Keet cleanupBut Curse Cut Short shows the Gems' and Spinel's inert gemstones, spoiling part of the first act's twist. Villain Song also includes the final part where Spinel slices through and poofs Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl, so it's also spoiling part of the twist.
Also, those videos are still up on my end.

Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢They're visible on the movie's page but not the trope pages. Odd.
I don't think them getting poofed is much of a twist (but I spoiler tagged it since you did), though Villain Song could get the last verse cut off.
Keet cleanupMaybe not the Gems, but Spinel? The Gem marketed as the new big threat that many assumed would last through the movie?
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢Now there's two videos from the climax up.
Edit: also, The Rising Of The Shield Hero video for Meaningful Rename has a Crunchyroll watermark.

Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢The Lion King videos for Sarcasm-Blind and I Love the Smell of X in the Morning are actually from The Lion King One And A Half. Is there any way to fix the source?
I think that can only be changed by the person who uploaded the videos, so you'll have to pm them and ask them to do it.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢How do I find that? The Video Examples pages don't have a history button.
Beats me. To my knowledge, only the mods can see who uploads videos. If only they came by here more often...
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢More spoiler-y SU movie videos are getting added...
Screw it, I'm making an ATT for this.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢If you need a mod, please holler your own post.
Whoops, forgot I could do that. 😅 Sorry!

Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢I'm noticing something wrong in site, Most of the new video examples that are being uploaded recently are not on there trope pages(example: the Christmas songs video examples are not on the Christmas Songs trope page.) what's going on and please try to fix what's going on.
I've been noticing a lot of major spoilers in video examples, even just the thumbnail. Is there any way to prevent that? Black out spoiler thumbnails before you click play, for example?
We've discussed that. There's a "contains spoilers" checkbox on the video uploading form, but it doesn't look like it does anything.
EDIT: Form, not forum.

Keet cleanupBy "forum", I guess you mean "form".
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.
Can I upload a video from a source that doesn't have a TV Tropes page?
