- I'd put them on both places, even though it inflates wick counts, or, if I had to choose, a Character page only.
The personally important part, is that they die, with the manner of death, more the plot-y part of it.
If we had a "Character Dies" trope, I'd use that on a Character page.

We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenzaBut you're the only one who even uses the terms "Plot" tropes and "event" tropes, so... I'm not even seeing a need for them to be split.
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessEvent tropes flesh out the plot so they should stay on the main page. They are the same as plot tropes really. If there's a specific character trope that emerges from said events, then it would obviously go in the character sheet.
Macron's notes^ That sounds nice and clean in theory but what do you do about examples like Beware the Nice Ones where a character trait causes an event?
That's about the character's personality and their reaction to something, so I wouldn't call it an "event" but more of a character-reliant action.
However, if during said Beware the Nice Ones moment they, idk, engaged in some Percussive Therapy, that could be considered an "event" trope but whether or not it goes on the character page is...well, open to interpretation.
Current Project: Incorruptible Pure PurenessBeware the Nice Ones is usually characterization trope so it would normally belong on Character sheets.
If BTNO happens once and is used to set off an event and isnt really associated with the character otherwise, I guess it would go on the main page
Macron's notesGuess we can conclude that there are no hard and fast rule about this, right?
And I know there shouldn't be.
We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenzaWhich character would get this entry?
- Only Friend: Bob becomes this for Alice since kids her own age shun her because they think she's weird. Plus, he's the only other person she's met who has the same psychic abilities she does.
The subject of the entry is Bob and Only Friend is targeted at him so it should go under Bob's trope list.

Macron's notesYet it says more about Alice than it says about Bob.
I think it still goes in Bob’s even if it is about his characterization relative to Alice, since it is still *his* characterization and relationship dynamic. Sort of how a Love Interest entry for the protagonist would go in the LI’s folder, not the protag.

^ - Agreed. I'm not sure how we should mention the Love Interest in the Protag's section, but I think we should, somehow.
Is "Having a Love Interest" as much of a (Character) Trope, as "Being a Love Interest" is?

Are the Big Bad, The Dragon or Co-Dragons tropes considered story or character tropes?

We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenzaAlso, are Shut Up, Hannibal!, Shut Up, Kirk! and Kirk Summation considered story tropes or character tropes? If it's the former, should we move those to the main work pages?
He/His/Him. No matter who you are, always Be Yourself. If they're done by a character, then it's a character trope
We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenzaWhere would Named by the Adaptation go?
From what I observed most people put them on character pages and since its about something that is specific to one character I think it belongs on character pages.
Macron's notesShould the following example from Sonic the Hedgehog (2020), go on the main page, the character page or both?:
- Adaptational Context Change: In the games, Dr. Robotnik is given the nickname "Dr. Eggman" based on his cartoony oval shaped body. In the movie, Sonic gives him the nickname based on his flying drones which are ovoid and white.
Adaptation tropes are specific to adaptations, so put it in the adaptation work page.
If an adapted work has its own character page (like MCU for one), then said example goes there.
We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenzaThe following tropes are listed on both the work and character pages for Sonic the Hedgehog (2020), are they being listed correctly?:
Badass Boast, Balloon Belly, Beta Outfit, Be the Ball, Big Badass Rig, Bullet Time, Bunny-Ears Lawyer
So, where should Big "NO!", Big "YES!", Break Them by Talking and Big "WHAT?!" go: the main page or the character page?
He/His/Him. No matter who you are, always Be Yourself.
But the plot is what happens. You can't really distinguish character action "events" from the plot itself, because those events are what creates the plot.
