Been wondering something lately. What if a tribute who has same-sex parents in canon/real life gets involved in a tribute that mention the opposite gender parent?

Example: Alice slaps Betty in an event, and Betty says not even her father would slap her. However Betty Has Two Mommies in canon. How would the host handle this, assuming it didn't happen before?

You're right. After all, the sun was able to mud-wrestle with Octodad without vaporizing him and the whole planet, so screw logic.

Handwave it as an alternate reality version of the character where the character has a father and a mother?

Or as whoever writes the event text being mistaken about the gender of one or both parents.

Or maybe the parent in question is their long-lost biological parent, assuming that the same-gender couple adopted them (or one of them is the other biological parent, but the same-gender partner is their second one)? Either way, please don't overthink these events because this is all just a game. If they do happen, then the host will just cross the bridge when they get there.
