It's a reference to the first level of Mega Man X, where Vile attacks you with his Ride Armor, but Zero saves your life.

Second Update Guys!

• Battle Music

• Night 1
  • Zira decides to take a level in kindness and gives a cake to GC.

  • Samwise wisely gets away from Yoshi in a silly fashion, to avoid suspicions.

  • Eraserhead, the Cursed Boys, Scooter, Emmet, Espeon, and Alter-X get into a silly race with each other, where after a long series of struggles they find out that the team of Scooter and the Cursed Boys won.

  • Cozy Glow and Spider-Ham have fun with impersonation, Cozy is likely doing so just so that she can connect better with Chrysalis and strike a "friendship" with her.

  • The chocolates, Nero, Ryuzaki and Flowey find a mighty weapon in the arena, due to all 4 being ambitious they have a fight over who gets to keep it, the victor of this argument is never found out about, and is likely to be undecided.

  • Sombra's bet with Chong about petting wild raccoons had harsh consequences due to it going awry for Sombra, as she is now forced to eat a disgusting road apple.

  • Johnson finds out that whatever the hell the Dark Lord watches, it's pure genuine evil, and I don't want to find out what he sees there in Youtube.

  • Tae, Doubledip and Liberty Prime settle a dispute to see who gets to keep Chastiefol after King's death. Ultimately Liberty Prime keeps it as he is the most powerful out of those three.

  • Lucerne Hammer slices Navi's wings off but let's her get away alive, probably as Cruel Mercy.

  • Nemo and Bill text each other, but Nemo sends the wrong message to Starlight, like Jason before him, he decides to let it slide, for this shall be the chance for some real drama.

  • Zee Tee sings a song for Jason, declaring his love for him and desire to be together. We may likely not find out if Jason reciprocated or not.

  • Perfect Cell gets lonely and decides to share a heartfelt dance with an inanimate object, taht is quite popular in these games, for the night, poor little guy.

• Day 2
  • Espeon kills Lucerne's Hammer cat with her psychic powers, for no good reason, at all, what a bastard!

  • Frustrated over losing the weapon the day before, Ryuzaki smashes a car he and Nero built together, leading to the latter crying and running off in tears.

  • X-Alter decides that silverware's the best thing for hair brushin'.

  • Starlight is torn between an Interspecies Romance with a human and an Unholy Matrimony with a demon/monster, she settles for the second option with The Dark Lord as her date.

  • Sombra decides to gain more ways to mess with the Russians and Zarya, and gains an accent to mock them about it.

  • Arnold and Gerald try to find and eat the chocolates. Too bad someone else beat them to the punch.

  • Perfect Cell gets confused looks from Jason and Emmet due to his night dance with a chair, Cell flips them off in response.

  • Liberty Prime tries to convince Doubledip, Cozy, Zira, and Johnson to do a silly dance, it's likely that none of them joined in, especially Zira or Johnson.

  • Zee Tee's and Scooter's bathroom antics drive Tae to relief herself in the wilderness, as humilliating as it is, it's her only choice.

  • Eraserhead finds out that Snow and the Capitol still believe that Liopleurodon is 25 meters long and could walk on land, he also finds out that they based it's design entirely on BBC's version, he can only complain about it's inaccuracies.

  • Spider-Ham makes an account to interact with us Tropers, while posing as Nemo:
    • Oh yes! This should be fun! I kinda feel bad about stealing that kid's email for my own uses but sacrifices will have to be made today!

  • Flowey decides to expand his already vast powers with the help of a TM, he likely learned Frustration or Return, as those two moves' power and strength are based on emotional values.

  • Sam is starting to doubt about his survival of this Season, he may have won before but he may not be as lucky this time.

  • Delightfully Devilish Navy, I'm not sure if you're fooling Link or Zelda with that, however...

When an undead serial killer and Rex Dangervest (assuming that was carried over from last time and he's not just Emmet again) are giving you weird looks, Cell, that's definitely a sign of... something.

And come on, Nero, you're way tougher than that. Have some friggin' dignity.

It's the third update!

• Battle Music

• Night 2
  • Spider-Ham is angry at flowey for his improper consumption of bagels, it's not supposed to be eaten like bread loaves!

  • The Dark Lord finds a Excalibur Expy, but realizes he'll gain nothing out of it and turns it into a fire.

  • Trying to prove that he can do more than double-dip food, Doubledip show he can hold a whole bunch of cigarettes in his mouth.

  • General Motors will lend it's support to Sombra's operations in the arena.

  • Sgt. Johnson tries to convince Espeon to help him with a settlement that is in need of a convincing argument to be rid of it's issues. Espeon refuses that with deadly intention.

  • Navi and Tae spend the Night drinking tea.

  • Chong, Starlight, Cozy, Lucerne, Liberty and Scooter put on a talent routine, with the help of Cozy's acting skills and Starlight's magical powers ensure that they get the Golden Buzzer at the end of the day.

  • Jason finds out his enemy is Alter-X as he cannot fast travel when the latter's close to him.

  • I'm with you Ryuzaki, always and always hate them.

  • Zira misses Scar and with her pride having long since abandoned her, she turns to comforting herself to relieve her loneliness.

  • Nero and Eraserhead wander the arena together in a temporary truce, they soon are forced to flee when they come across Bill torturing the cursed boys, as they fear getting the same treatment.

• Day 3
  • Our cursed boys find out that their nature as cursed beings gained them enough infamy to be classified as SCPs in need of getting monitored.

  • Manga Yoshi accuses Chong of various he didn't do/hasn't done yet.

  • Sombra takes a wrong step off a ledge, and breaks her arm, leaving her more vulnerable to the elements and other tributes.

  • Nero motivates a few tributes to get up and slam! Even Ryuzaki, his old not-friend joins in!

  • Samwise's fears seemed to be priven correct when the Devil took his soul to Hell. But Flowey wasn't having any of that nonsense and saves Sam from certain death.

  • Navi corrupts Zira into a monster using her night grief as a catalyst for the transformation.

  • Bill tries to get Eraserhead to enter his bag, but Eraserhead was there to see Bill kicking the two boys for his amusement and refuses to get in.

  • And Cozy's disgusted by Emmet's actions in previous seasons and sends him to Hell to rot, but since this Emmet is Rex Dangervest he conquers hell and comes back.

  • The Dark Lord is a show-off, but Tae isn't having any of his attempts at impressing others.

  • Jason and Cell team up against a common enemy: X-Alter, who starts boasting about her power and how she will be the end of those two.

  • Starlight writes some entries for her experiences in the arena (Feel free to write the possible dialogue if you want to, Dave)

• Fallen Tributes 3: Sergeant Johnson

Whoa... I didn't know there was a tiny sliver of Asriel in Flowey if he went out of his way to save (not SAVE) a SOUL from Hell.

And not even Tartarus could contain Rex!

And I think the smoke's coming from all those cigs, DD.

This may or may not be my only lore post this season, but feel like making this for continuity's sake. Might also do this for future seasons that I'm not hosting as well.

Before the Season:

The Science Center

Meanwhile before the season began, Hal and Dave are trying to find the whereabouts of Valecor, but to no avail.

Hal: Gah! Where is that abomination? Can't find him anywhere in the arena despite our technology!

Dave: Well if he set up a base somewhere it's possible his lair isn't even in the arena, as they moved the arena force field to a different location this season after what happened at that military installation.

The military installation... we're lucky we didn't enter a war when those missiles were launched as they thankfully didn't hit anything important! *sigh* ...what season is this by the way? I forgot thanks to dealing with the mess that monster caused.

If I'm recalling correctly, it's a podium finisher battle royale season.

Ah yes, the season in which they call in the champions of the past 12 seasons and either resurrect the ones that came in second and third or bring in alternate timeline versions of the tributes that died if they're unable to do that. Clearly a good idea as it's not as if any of the ones that died have a grunge against us for doing so or anything.

Valecor's Lair

Just as Dave suggested, Valecor's lair is located outside the arena. Set up inside an abandoned mine, Valecor decorated it with scavenged/stolen furniture that don't really match and black crystals he summoned. The overall set-up feels a bit underwhelming, though that's to be expected when one sets up a base on their own. He takes a moment to admire his handiwork.

Valecor:    Not the best base but it'll do for now.   

He grins as he turns back to the mine entrance.

   Now then, it seems like they're getting ready for a new season. Geh heh heh heh heh, let's see what fun this season will bring!   

He slithers his way over to the arena force field, which is now up and working. He reacts with mock surprise.

   Oh no, the way is blocked! Whatever shall I do? Oh! I know!   

He shifts into a mist-like shadow form and moves across the ground to the other side of the force field, not even setting off the force field or any alarms in the process. He cackles as he returns to his regular form.

   GEH HEH HEH HEH HEH! Well that wasn't so bad now was it? Anyways, time to see what tributes this season brings!   

The first update:

The Science Center

The phone rings. Hal answers it.

Yes? ...what?! The cornucopia ran away from another tribute!? Have you gone mad?

The Arena

Sometime later, Nemo hears rumors about a dark force that wrecked havok last season and covers himself in salt for protection. Valecor, not knowing about the salt, then comes across Nemo and thinking Nemo is an easy target tries getting Nemo but the salt's protective wards him off. He backs away while Nemo flees in terror.

   Curses... blasted salt, not enough dark power to be immune to that.   

The second update:

Detective Gamechanger's Office

The detective is working on a case when the distinctive sound of something being put in his mail box alerts him. He opens the mail box and sees a package from Panem.

Det. GC: Panem? What is this, a reward for one of my tributes winning or something? Wait, what's this note here say... this is from Zira of all people!?

He carefully opens the box in case it's an explosive of some sort knowing that it's from the Hunger Games and is somewhat relieved to see a strawberry cake.

Well this seems out of character for her but I'll have a science lab analyze this just in case it's poisoned or something. If it's not, well, then, yum yum!

The Science Center

A tribute sending a cake to their nominator... that's crazy. Did our department at least check it to see if it was poisoned? Knowing GC, he's probably having it checked out since he's a detective...

Yes. It came back negative.

Well that's a relief. Any news on 616N, or Valecor as he now calls himself?

Nothing on what he's up to, but our cameras have confirmed that he's in the arena again... and that he's weak to salt as he just attacked another tribute covered in the stuff yesterday.

That's great news! Get or scientists working on bullets infused with salt asap!

The Arena

Valecor manages to steal a file on the tributes and looks proceeds to look them up on a stolen laptop.

   Well, this Bill Cipher guy seems like a promising potential ally...   

He then breaks into one of the many hidden storage rooms and takes the nearest item he can find, shoves it into a box, writes a note about meeting him in a certain location when Bill has the time and puts it into the box before sealing it up and secretly placing the box at Bill's camp.

The third update:

The Science Center

The phone rings. Hal answers it.

Yes? ...shoving a bunch of cigarettes into one's mouth and lighting them all!? Is that tribute high!?

The Arena

Reading about Emmet, Valecor chuckles as he decides to mess with him. He writes a letter that simply says "Hello Rex!" and anonymously sends it. Later, coming across a sleeping Starlight, instead of trying to kill her, he instead casts a nightmare into her dreams that's about what she fears turned Up To Eleven.

Sometime after that Valecor meets up with Bill in front of an abandoned museum. After a brief discussion they join forces. (don't think I'd be able to RP as Bill properly, sorry about that) After this meeting, feeling inspired after meeting Valecor Bill decides to torment the cursed tributes.

Later on during the day, Scooter learns of Valecor and offers to join him, learning from Bill they made cookies.

Heh.... Salted fish. I see what you did there, Gamechanger.

And I imagine Starlight's nightmare would be something like this.
