Weirdest Thing You've Seen in a fanfic or on a fanfic site

People are way too comfortable with that kind of AU. There's a popular Total Drama fic with it too. I know we love star crossed lovers, but there has got to be a more tasteful way to do that. I'm sure there's a fic out there that pulls it off though, but just...not my cup of tea.

The weirdest crossover I've ever seen? It was between JJBA, Metal Gear... and 13 Reasons Why. Basically in it it's revealed that Hannah Baker's death was actually the work of an enemy stand, and Solid Snake and Otacon team up with a bunch of 13 Reasons Why characters to take down a bunch of stand-powered Metal Gears... Yeah.

It was wild, it's on AO3, had 3 chapters done by the time I discovered it; Not so sure if they've written more since I last read it.

Once I read a Cars fanfic where Finn was brainwashed into being EEVILL, the spies casually blew their covers to everyone, and there was a car who could climb trees. I spent fifteen minutes laughing at a line about Siddeley going into Radiator Springs because it was so stupid (he's too big to be in Smash Bros).

Fanfiction for fanfiction.

I think we have a trope for that.

I found a fanfic by shippopotamus that I'm 90 percent sure is a parody but it's this hilariously weird Snape x secret character fanfic called warts and all. I laughed and cringed as I read it.

I vividly remember coming across a Undertale fanfic on AO3 that was a crossover with... Nutri Ventures: The Quest for the Seven Kingdoms, of all things.

And it was a vore fetish fanfic, of course.

Yesterday I read a Beast Wars fic that shipped Megatron with Rattrap. Not Dinobot, the other Maximal that would make the most sense to ship Megatron with, not even Primal, Rattrap.
It was a bit short though

Somebody on F-F-dot-net wrote Persona 5 fanfics where Ann tortures and kills people for being ugly. And the reader is supposed to agree with her.

I found a fan novel for KanColle that had Helena, Atlanta, Gotland, and one of the other light cruisers traveling through the American southwest and fighting a Mexican drug cartel.

A Pokémon fanfic about Cynthia and her Gastrodon sneaking into a kid's bedroom to read comic books under their bed. The fic suggests they do this fairly often, and Gastrodon can talk for some reason. It's also Cynthia x Gastrodon, though it's unclear if what they have going on is supposed to be romantic or just a friendship.

An MLP/Thomas crossover whose premise was that Lady brought Twilight and Sunset to Sodor after a Canterlot Wedding accusation, and ponies and trains are apparently counterpart species, featuring bad grammar. Part of me feels bad for making fun of this corner of Fimfiction, though, because these authors are clearly young.

I found a fanfic for The Quintessential Quintuplets that reimagines the romantic comedy plot into a geopolitical history.

Mass effect fanfics where humans are replaced with WH 40 K orks and every dialog were replaced with ORK english. It was weird sure, but very hilarious.

This post movie Firefly fanfic [1]. I mean, the author is not exactly wrong concerning the premise, but considering what is in the author's note, this is clearly written with the sole intention to piss the fans off by having The Alliance kill all protagonists.
