To make it not-index, call it not-an-index (i.e. I turned the page type to Trope).
Thanks! Looking at what other indexes could be removed...
Could we make a No Real Life Examples, Please! subpage for Multiple Reasons? Because Abusive Parents is on at least 3?
...
Should Tear Jerker index the tropes?

Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576Double post because it's been a while.
Are the names implications correct and This Index Has Had a Hard Life is a sub-index of Backstory Index?
Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576I would say no, it includes "present day only" suffering. It includes Break the Cutie and Corrupt the Cutie, which can happen in the story's present as part of the plot.
It's not ready for launch, but I'm wondering if there's any other indexes out there for my Signed with a Kiss draft?
So far, I've got Kissing Tropes and Love Tropes.
CSP Cleanup Thread | All that I ask for ... is diamonds and dance floorsThe Neptunia series is on Visual Novel for some reason. I don't think that fits?

TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupDo we have a non-Japanese "Adult Video Game" index? Or is that H-Game and we just picked a Japanese-centric name and no one's changed it?
Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576For the same reason why we don't have NSFW Webcomics or Adult Literature I take.
I'm not confident why Eroge is technically own genre.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupWe have Erotic Literature. NSFW Webcomics was cut because "NSFW" is broader and varies depending on culture, and webcomics don't have a rating board. We don't rate works ourselves, but we may make note of existing ratings (e.g. Motion Picture Association and its age ratings, and more broadly Media Classifications) and recognized genres (e.g. eroge).
It's certainly being treated as a general index. For instance, Coming Out on Top and Ladykiller in a Bind are listed there, and they are not Japanese.
We also have Animated Shock Comedy for Western Animation.
Not just that, but we also have Mohs Scale Of Violence Hardness (specifically any work at Level 7 or higher).
Kirby is awesome.Mad Scientist and Well-Intentioned Extremist have 30+ indices. Are there any that look redundant or unsuited?
Mad Scientist: Character Flaw Index (I don't think it's a flaw so much as an archetype), Cosmic Horror Story (maybe I am just not too familiar with the genre but it seems incidental)... and Tropes of Legend and Overdosed Tropes don't actually need to be indexes, right?
Well-Intentioned Extremist has a lot of conflicting indexes that consider it either heroic or villainous, but these ones are the ones that could probably go: Heroes (it's already on Anti-Hero), Knight in Shining Tropes (not sure what it has to do with knighthood specifically), No One Respects the Spanish Inquisition (this index looks superfluous in general, but a WIE is not generally portrayed as silly or incompetent), Quirky Good (really?).
Edited by Synchronicity on Feb 4th 2023 at 11:17:20 AM
That Quirky Good index is, uh... I dunno, "quirky" is a real understatement for appears to be an index for villainous character traits on hero characters.
Don't know about Tropes of Legend/Overdosed Tropes, though the Danish indices just replicate the English articles, so I removed the indexing there.
Re Mad Scientist: I think it's not necessary for Tokusatsu Tropes (I think it's a horrible index in general because it says nothing why the tropes are there and has a lot of Universal Tropes), Evil Minions (Evil Genius would be a more logical fit in its place), Horror Tropes (already at Sci-Fi Horror subindex), Discredited Trope (it's entry talks about Strapped to an Operating Table instead)
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupCould WebVideo.David Near go on Horror Web Originals? I tend to see singular works there, but this guy's content is mostly horror-based.
I'd appreciate any other suggestions for indexes this new page can go on please. Thank you for your time.

No child should have to think of selling medication for food. Are you afraid?^ It seems to fit there.
Macron's notes~TheLibrarian1701, per TLP Guidelines, Outlandish Device Setting needs at least one trope index when launching for categorizing, anything from Genre Tropes, Media Tropes, Narrative Tropes, Topical Tropes.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupI'm still trying to figure out which to put it under. I'm not finding anything that feels correct.
Similar trope Inventional Wisdom is on the Applied Phlebotinum index, so that might work as well. I also took the liberty of adding Outlandish Device Setting to the "see also" section of Inventional Wisdom.
Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes.Launch Personalized Pledge, where should it go?
Korean Drama to stop indexing Abusive Parents: Just unticked Does Indexing in the page type, but its page type is Index. Now it's still indexing, probably because of page type.
A edit might fix it. Edit: nope
Also, it doesn't have a work list, offloading that to Korean Series?
...
Also, The Far East and Asia have overlap. Is that an issue?
