Kory: i will need to do some more testing to see if the 500KB should be lowered even more but either way everyone can relax because the database will not crash or implode in anyway due to page size so splitting pages isn't a huge priority and is just more of a suggestion. For pages that actually load slow, splitting the pages will help slower internet users navigate these pages better.
It looks like pages over 500,000 characters (html formatted, that is) are crashing the server when someone tries to edit them. programmer's whine
They need to be fixed, anyway. Way too big for one page. They need to be broken up into subpages of a reasonable size.
I'm trying to get better about communicating before big changes, so we'll let this one run for a while before taking the action. The server crashes do come under the heading of 'urgent', though.

That appears to be a list of links to the trope page for the purpose of sorting out misuse, particularly for the relevant cleanup thread.
It's a list of wicks to Mondegreen, for the people who are cleaning them up so that they don't have to check every page.
If you are editing it for a reason other than to remove entries you have checked, you shouldn't be editing it.

Did not expect myself to finish that...
Looking at it, the game engine is a big part of what makes a game able to run on Windows, Linux, Mac, etc...
Although, possibly not the be-all-end-all. I'm not quite clear if Ren Py, for instance, could be a Windows Games sub-index. making it easier to split things out...
Sandbox.Windows Games does have another way to sort, though...

Alright, so since ~Piterpicher is the person in charge of Sandbox.Windows Games, I have a question about it.
What do I do for a series where various games on different platforms are grouped together in one trope page? Specifically The Incredible Machine, a single page which covers games from the DOS era up to Windows 95/98. I wanted to put the last two games (95/98-era, the games in question are Return of the Incredible Machine: Contraptions and Even More Contraptions) under the 95 folder, but I can't since they don't have separate pages. Should I just put the names down as sub-bulleted red links underneath The Incredible Machine? Or not?
