- Adorkable: All members have their moments, but Ryota especially stands out thanks to his kind-hearted, cheerful and occasionally awkward personality.
- Awesome Music:
- The songs they created for the five Rurouni Kenshin movies can qualify, since they convey the themes of each installment well.
- Rurouni Kenshin: "The Beginning" is fast and full of power in every word, which fits the eponymous samurai's one singular goal: to create a new, better future.
- Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno: "Mighty Long Fall" is the embodiment of hope when everything seems to go into disarray. It was needed after the Downer Ending, where Kenshin has seemingly failed to save his love and stop Shishio from getting to Tokyo.
- Rurouni Kenshin: The Legend Ends: "Heartache" acts as a ballad to the past and future, because even when Kenshin's old ways will never be forgotten, he can still continue on the road to a peaceful future.
- Rurouni Kenshin: The Final: "Renegades" is actually a Villain Song for Enishi, someone who intends to tear down the Meiji era and seeks revenge against Kenshin, who killed his sister.
- Rurouni Kenshin: The Beginning: "Broken Heart of Gold" has an air of regret and pain running through the song, befitting of the eponymous samurai's darkest days as a killer—not to mention accidentally killing his beloved Tomoe. Yet, it's still soothing to listen to!
- "Make It Out Alive" came as a surprise in late 2023: a pulse-pounding anthem for the Monster Hunter Now mobile game, with lyrics offering hope in the face of insurmountable odds and adversity.
- The songs they created for the five Rurouni Kenshin movies can qualify, since they convey the themes of each installment well.
- Broken Base: People who like the Eye of the Storm album (or even found the band through it, as it came with their biggest international success so far) and people who find it boring or worry about the band selling out and becoming too pop.
- Fan Nickname: "Toru Quinn" for a version of Toru that briefly shows up in the "Kanzen Zaitaku Dreamer" video, with his hair (bleached blond) tied up in pigtails and swinging a baseball bat.
- Harsher in Hindsight: "C.h.a.o.s.m.y.t.h." has the line, "Dream as if you will live forever and live as if you'll die today." The title of the song is made up of the initials of Taka's close friends—one of them being Haruma Miura, who passed away in 2020 at only thirty years old.
- Hilarious in Hindsight: Toru used to be a huge fan of Avril Lavigne growing up. His childhood friend Ryota is now married to Avril's sister Michelle. Who'd have guessed his childhood best friend would end up as his teen celebrity crush's brother-in-law?
- Ho Yay: A whole bunch between Taka and Toru. On stage, Toru is the main target of Taka's Cuddle Bug tendencies; both on stage and off, the two clearly have a lot of affection for each other. It doesn't help that they also live in the same apartment complex and are both still single while their bandmates both have wives and kids. Taka has once referred to their silent on-stage communication as "boys' love," and then of course there's the infamous performance of "20/20".
- Never Live It Down: The TV appearance that had Toru trying to wrap ham in watermelon (among other things) is about a decade old now, so his skills may well have improved since, but the fanbase still treats him as a Lethal Chef.
- Seasonal Rot: Fans of their rock sound consider the Lighter and Softer Eye of the Storm album significantly weaker than the others.
- Tear Jerker:
- "Nobody's Home" is Taka's apology to his then-estranged family, especially his parents, whom he had gone no contact with for several years. It actually helped mend the relationship.
- "C.h.a.o.s.m.y.t.h." has become one after the untimely death of Haruma Miura.
- "Take What You Want" is heartbreaking enough on its own, thanks to its lyrics. Live, Taka sometimes performs parts of the song and chorus a capella, drawing out every moment of anguish and heartbreak to make it hit extra hard.
- "Broken Heart of Gold" is possibly their saddest song yet, both in terms of melody and the dark, depressing lyrics.
- They Changed It, Now It Sucks!: A common fan response to the Lighter and Softer tone of the Eye of the Storm album, although criticisms of them becoming too pop started emerging much earlier than that.
