Previews: Trailer

Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles includes examples of the following:

  • Art-Shifted Sequel: While similar in design to Mutant Mayhem, the trailer shows that this interquel series will be 2D animated, as opposed to the film’s CGI.
  • Description Cut: In the trailer, Leo’s narration boasts that there is nothing the brothers can’t handle. Cut to Donnie screaming and Mikey wailing that he can’t handle this.
  • The Unmasqued World: The trailer makes a point that this version of New York already knows about the Turtles (due to the events of the film) and loves them.
