Changed Rebirth is a Changed webcomic by Chinese artist meo-糸欧.
Set after the events of the "Captured" bad ending, to stop the Pale Virus spreading out again, Colin (Lin) has been transformed by Dr. K into a canine latex goo creature, using an experimental mutagen to break his mind into obedience. Now working for the scientist as a lab assistant, Colin keeps a watchful eye as the doctor takes his leave. It's another uneventful day, until he notices a strange dark latex wolf pup stealing research papers...

Changed Rebirth provides examples of:
- Air-Vent Passageway: Puro reborn uses these to quickly travel across the complex, due to Oblivious Transformation in play, it never occurs to Colin when following that as an anthropomorphic goo monster he can do the same.
- Bad Future: The fancomic is set after "Captured" ending where you have a good relationship with Puro, but failed to establish a strong enough one, so he and Dr. K will fight each other to a stalemate.
- Born-Again Immortality: Puro hasn't died in the bad ending, as artificial latex beasts can't die. The latex wolf has merely undergone a regeneration process when his crystalline core was cracked, reverting him to a Blob Monster before emerging as a sweet little pup.
- Forced Transformation: Colin (Lin) is no longer human; forcefully "transfurred" into a white wolf and hypnotized with drug injections to make him obedient, all so that he won't spread the virus to the outside world.
- Identity Amnesia:
- As a consequence of the "transfurmation" process, Colin like so many humans, has suffered a Death of Personality, and has only ever known working for K as a sentient monster. He cannot remember who he was formerly, maintaining a Blank Stare throughout, until Puro comes along.
- Without a human host, and being attacked by Dr. K, Puro's dark latex regeneration cycle has reset his sapience after reverting into a crystalline form and then back again. He now has to relearn everything, including how to speak, all over again.
- I Did What I Had to Do: Indirectly invoked as memories of Dr. K mistreating Colin and Puro as both expendable return back to the former-human, all to stop the Pale Virus threatening what remains of humanity.
- It's All My Fault: Colin tearfully blames himself for not being there for Puro when he needed him most.
- The Igor: After the events of the "Captured" bad ending, Colin fulfills this role for Dr. K around the complex.
- Loners Will Stay Alone: K remarks as Colin leaves with Puro in hand, he is once again alone in the superstructure, but he has now grown used to it.
- Only Friend: Heartwarmingly, Colin's memories of Puro at last return and he leaves the tower complex with him; finally fulfilling The Promise he made to his goo companion many years ago.
- Regained Memories Sequence: Chasing after Puro to his den and the library, Colin's memories as a human befriending the latex wolf slowly begin to return.
- Ridiculously Cute Critter: Puro, reincarnated as an adorable little wolf pup, who is just as inquisitive and Intrigued by Humanity as ever before.
- Tuft of Head Fur: As a white latex wolf, Colin still retains a tuft of his original hair color.
