Quel Nerd Col Pizzetto (translated as "That Nerd With the Goatee"), also known by his other Go-to handle The Someone, is an Italian Youtuber who covers topics regarding content between awful cartoons, underappreciated games, anime of dubious taste (often done for April Fools' Day), comics, and (sometimes popular) movie flops.

Being from Youtube since 2008, Someone only started making videos in 2013, talking mainly about Anime before adding the rest mentioned above to the mix.

The channel per se can be considered a Jack of All Trades because of the many type of videos, with examples including specials done for specific days of the year.

When doing videos, Someone utilizes an In-Universe persona which is apparently an Emo Satanist with a lot of interest in Eldritch Horror (trust me, It Makes Sense in Context).

He's commonly followed by Number Two best friend "Il Recensore Mascherato" (literally "The Masked Reviewer"), a downplayed Mysterious Stranger that always hides his face and identity with a bandana and hoodie.

Someone also haves an Alter Ego called The Warden, which is an entity obsessed with fanfictions, and wears dark clothing and a mask to cover his identity.

His channel can be found here.

This is the trope war!

  • Berserk Button: Any mention or idea towards giving DmC: Devil May Cry attention will result in him getting quite angry and consider it the the game that should not be named.
    • The same situation is also given to Stitch! and Teen Titans Go!, both of which he admitted to be two animated abortions.
    • He sometimes dislikes when adaptations ends up messing a lot from the source. During the collab review of Fist of the North Star, he gets quite mad over the way the rice (which in the original anime adaptation had a purpose and a Symbolism) ends up being utilized for a single cutscene, to the point his voice gets more and more frustrated and results with a Stylistic Suck screen colorization mixed with green screen effect and an high pitched "WRYYYYYYYY".
    • Flipping a joke he initially made againts himself also counts (as he will quickly tell the one doing it to cut it off), except it's a bit rarer when this happens.
  • Cast as a Mask: When intepreting The Warden, he wears one.
  • HA HA HA—No: He kinda haves this situation during the review of Adrian, where following the titular character warning two girls that "drinking too much leads to being raped", Someone tells his audience to Laugh with Me! before quickly shifting the tone with a Voice Change Surprise to question Adrian awful mentality and stereotyping.
  • Jack of All Trades: Someone channel is full of everything, from reviews to AMV tributes to musical parodies.
  • One-Hit Wonder: AfroBoy, a character that appeared in a two-part series, became a fan favorite. Unfortunately he never returned for future videos, but Someone promised that one day he will return.
  • Running Joke: Expect Pinkie Pie to appear and do a Rimshot whenever Someone makes a joke.
    • Whenever Someone pulls a joke that makes fun of Emo culture, expect him most of the times to use the most stereotypical tropes from that community, such as depression, self-harm (by doing a very awful interpretation of it, such as "cutting" his arm with a plastic knife) and the usage of Linkin Park to seal the obvious joke.
  • Secret Identity Vocal Shift: The Warden is basically just Someone with a low pitched voice, done to keep the theme of anonymity.
  • Stylistic Suck: Someone edits are simple and quite straightforward, such as altering his voice pitch post-production or make it more louder, a green screen (wich is the white wall behind him), or add a random filter to the video to give it some sort of drug-inducing effect.
  • Suddenly Shouting: One of the more infamous examples of him doing this comes from the double review of Stitch! and Teen Titans Go!, where he ends up cranking the volume up without giving the viewer any warning, and the volume is quite loud as well. You may end up getting temporarely deaf if you were listening the review at high volume.
  • Take That!: One thing Someone always does most of the times in his reviews is to poke fun at both sides of a community (or whatever is related with what he's reviewing) with a brutally honest comparison or criticism. Same is also said for his jokes, being just as brutal.
  • "The Reason You Suck" Speech: He will sometimes go on quite a lenghty speech towards why the thing he's reviewing deserves to be mocked. Out of most examples, the one he kept for Adrian was the more impactful one, as he made it clear just how much he hates Adriano Celentano ego.
  • Two Aliases, One Character: As Warden is basically Someone, both are never seen together. Subverted during the 1000 sub special, as Warden and Someone alongside their masked friend reviewed together an anime.
  • Voice Change Surprise: In-Universe Someone can apparently alter his voice due to various situations, such as moments of seriousness towards the spectator or a friend, or out of frustration and anger. It's never explained how and why, but due to the above mentioned persona he plays, Someone is likely channeling his "dark powers" to make his voice sound different. In Real Life, it's obviously just him altering his voice with some softwares post-production.
  • You Have GOT to Be Kidding Me!: Sometimes this specific situation will happen when Someone will go on a quite specific detail on a character or something related to the original adaptation. One such example happens during a collaboration with Youtuber Terapia Nerd for the review of the Live Action movie Fist of the North Star, which questioned if Someone infodumping on Yuda regarding the original adaptation from Hokuto no Ken was serious or not.
TN: "...Please tell me you're not serious."
