Go To

Pugsley will attend Nevermore in Season 2
  • I mean, it would make sense to have both Addams Kids at the school, and he would be away from those jocks, who bullied him.
    • And be put in a school with cliques that have just as much of a hierarchy like any other school. He wouldn't last five minutes, even if everyone knows he's Wednesday's brother.
Enid and Rahne Sinclair are related somehow
  • I have no evidence outside of their name and affliction.

Goody is still around
  • Morticia warned Wednesday not to trust Goody. Goody didn't just heal Wednesday, she put herself into her body to wait for the right time to come out or take over.

The Identity of the Stalker
  • The jock from the swimming pool: He followed Wednesday to take revenge and thinks pictures of her would frighten her, not realizing she is into that kinda thing.
  • Ajax
  • An evil Addams relative we haven't met before
  • Yoko.
    • Jossed Naomi decided to leave because of scheduling and because Yoko was an Advertised Extra.
  • Someone affiliated with Morning Song.
  • A version of Debbie from Addams Family Values. In fact, it'll be revealed that she's part of the reason Fester is on the run.

Morticia will take over as Nevermore’s headmistress.
  • It would be a good way to get her in the show more and explore her relationship with Wednesday, not to mention see more of the family.
    • Or she could be the new botany teacher. She does love tending to her plants.
      • Jossed: The new principal will be a new character played by Steve Buscemi.

The next Big Bad will be an Outcast supremacist
  • Either a Magneto-like figure who wants to protect their people from hateful Normies at any cost, or one who thinks their powers should let them rule over the Normies.

Melissa Hunter will get a cameo in the next season.
Considering how well received by fans that her fan series was, Melissa Hunter may turn up next season as someone who runs into Wednesday, which may include a Lampshade Hanging between the two and Wednesday saying You Look Familiar.
  • Pop a long blonde wig with flowers on her and let her play Wednesday's aunt, Morticia's estranged—and quite strange—sister, (possibly named) Ophelia. "When we were much younger, people used to think we were twins," she says, to explain the marked age difference.

Morning Song will have a greater, more sinister presence in future seasons
The cult run by Bianca's mother and her new husband Gideon will send members to Jericho and infiltrate Nevermore Academy to recruit students into their thrall and establish themselves a power base to run their operations from.

Laurel might not be dead
Granted, it is unlikely Wednesday would let her live after everything Laurel put her through. But we never see her body and her death is not confirmed (either in-universe or through Word of God) so maybe the creators wanted some wiggle room to potentially allow for her return. Perhaps Wednesday left her severely disfigured in an institution for the criminally insane, which for someone like Laurel could be a fate worse than death.

Pugsley is going to become tougher in Season 2
Thanks to Puberty and Character Development, he will become a devious, cunning and mischievous troublemaker. He will also develop pyrokinetic abilities. He will also make subtle, but threatening references to his unusual appetite.

They add Pubert in season 2
  • Unlikely, because Pugsley ate Pubert.

The Nightshades will have a few new recruits
  • In line with a lot of TV shows, the Nightshades looks to be a protagonistic group in Wednesday that continues to fight more evil in the series. And what better way than to add a few more students in their society?
    • Enid Sinclair. Perhaps the most likely addition to the team. She’s already dating a member (Ajax) and is very close with another one (Yoko). Plus, being part of the winning team in the Poe Cup and taking down the monster haunting Jericho puts her in a very good standing among her peers. So why hesitate to invite her to pledge?
    • Eugene Ottinger. Him playing a crucial role in taking down Laurel Gates should put him in a good standing among his peers. Plus, the society could find value in his passion for bees. Shows tend to have major supporting characters join a protagonist faction in later seasons, and Eugene would be no exception.
    • Wednesday Addams. Sure, she expressed no interest in joining at first, but Character Development might think otherwise. She’s after all the daughter of former Nightshade leader, Morticia, so it would be satisfying to see her as a Legacy Character taking on the role. Plus, it wouldn’t be much of a surprise if she takes over leadership, given how she outwitted all the members in her supposed “kidnapping” and led them to their attempting interrogation of Tyler Galpin.

Instead of season 2 we get a spinoff
Like say, Elizabeth Gillies as a young Morticia.
  • The young Morticia was already seen in Season 1.
Laurel would have killed Tyler, if her plan had been a success
  • Laurel hates all Outcasts, and Hydes are probably no exception. If her plan to destroy Nevermore Academy had been a success, she would have killed Tyler, because she has no use for him anymore.

The love triangle will continue in Season 2
  • Being an Outcast and out besting her makes Tyler more of an equal in Wednesday's eyes, and she'll continue talking to him and visiting him in prison while Xavier will still orbit around her.
    • Jossed: Jenna Ortega confirmed that there will be no romance in Season 2 for the character.

Tyler's mother is still alive.
  • Although it is mentioned that she died, it is possible that she is still alive, and only faked her death to protect her husband and son.

Tyler's whereabouts in Season 2
If Tyler returns in Season 2, here's the likely scenarios of what will happen:

Xavier's dreams aren't linked to the monster - they're linked to Wednesday's visions
  • Their discoveries occur at very similar times in the plot and are clearly accurate enough to bolster Wednesday's suspicions

Tyler will be considered a weakling and a loser by other Hydes.
Losing to a novice werewolf is something that can ruin your reputation.

Cousin Itt will be in the next season
  • Similar to Fester, he'll be reuniting with Wednesday while on the run.

Joseph Crackstone will return.
  • When he was killed again by Wednesday in the season finale, she may have only destroyed his zombified corpse, but not his soul. This means he could possibly turn up later on in the series as a ghost or a Demon of Human Origin, likely even more powerful than he was before.

Bianca's parents will serve as a Big Bad Duumvirate in Season 2.

Wednesday's book gets published and the whole world knows about it
  • The events of season 1 are told in Wednesday's book, which gets published and with it some unwanted notoriety for her.
  • Because of the book, more of Crackstone's heirs or a coalition of normies are coming for vengeance.

Gomez's magical ability is Playing with Fire.
On the 60s show, Gomez would sometimes pull out pre-lit cigars, and in all adaptations has quite the excitable, passionate disposition. This would put him in a Lightning/Fire Juxtaposition with his brother.

A future season will focus on a rivalry between Nevermore Academy and Miskatonic Academy
It will be a classic school rivalry plot, with a subtext of Poe's embrace of the macabre unknown and Lovecraft's bigoted fear of the unknown. While Nevermore is a magic school, Miskatonic will have a science fiction punkish aesthetic.
There will be another Villain Twist
Since they did a Hans twist with Tyler, they could either do a Agatha Harkness twist or a Royal Pain twist with one of the other characters.

The bullies who killed Wednesday's pet scorpion disappeared and were never found
Given the fact that Wednesday was clearly traumatized by it and is relentless when it comes to evening the score, it's very unlikely she simply let it go...

Jekyll was his own master
  • Because he chemically unlocked his own Hyde. He then kept drinking the serum.
One Character will do a Musical Number in Season 2
It would be a counterpart to Wednesday’s Dance Number in Season 1.The Candidates are:
  • Enid (It would be an example of how she and Wednesday are contrasting, but harmonizing.)
  • Xavier (Because of how he and Wednesday have lots of character parallels, based on their powers, hobbies and family situations.)
    • There’s also no official confirmation that he won’t be in Season 2.
      • Jossed Xavier was confirmed to not be in Season 2.
  • The third candidate is a new character, who will be introduced in Season 2.

The second season will end with Wednesday going with Enid to spend time in San Fransico.
  • It would be a nice Call-Back to the Season 1 final.

Reasons for Xavier's and Yoko's absence.
  • Tyler killed Xavier between seasons.
  • Xavier decided to leave Nevermore, because he wants to focus on his Mental Health.
  • Yoke decided to leave becasue she's been at the School for Decades.
