WMG / Delicious Party♡Pretty Cure

Go To

The Sixth Ranger Cure will be a Purple Cure
Similar to other shows which have had the Pink/Blue/Yellow Main Trio dynamic.
  • Well Gentle does have a purple color scheme...
  • We did notice one of the villains calling her "weak" and saying her effort was "minimum". Maybe a Mistreatment-Induced Betrayal will happen?
  • Leaks have confirmed that Gentlu is the Sixth Ranger indeed... except that she is a gold cure ! That said, part of her outfit is purple. And her civilian identity is associated with purple.
  • Her henshin background seems to suggest she is officially categorized as a purple Cure.
Kome-Kome will be the Sixth Ranger Cure
Similar to Ha-chan, Kome-Kome is advertised, through the Cure Watch accessory, as having a evolutionary pattern that starts as a baby and grows up to a similar age to the Cures themselves, paralleling Ha-chan's advertising.
  • In series, she won't be, but it's confirmed she does get a Cure form in the movie.
Alternatively, Takumi Shinada will be the Sixth Ranger Cure
Takumi appears frequently in pre-release artwork, and is possibly the figure in the white cloak on the poster, which means he might be part of the magical shenanigans in the season. He could be the first main male Cure!
  • While nothing has been made official yet being as the first male Cure, it is confirmed in episode 14 that he is the "figure in the white cloak" and introduces himself as "Black Pepper".
A Crossover Movie would be with either Fresh, Suite or Smile Precure
Seeing Healin Good Precure did a crossover with Yes Precure 5 and Tropical Rouge Precure did a crossover with Heartcatch Precure, there is a chance this series might either meet with Fresh Precure since they are in between or Suite since it's the successor of Heartcatch or Smile to add a sense of continuity (of it being every 2nd succeeding season).
  • Kira Kira PreCure A La Mode would be a fitting crossover.
  • Jossed. Delicious Party's movie will be a solo outing.
The Sixth Ranger Cure will be a Green Cure instead of Purple
Rather then having another purple cure like the theory above, a green cure would much more fitting for this Precure season and it's theme of food. Foods tend to more green then purple (like spinach, lettuce, green smoothies, vegetables, salads, etc) so it would much more awesome to have a green cure in this cooking-themed season rather then a purple one.
  • Jossed. Cure Finale is considered a purple Cure, as noted in a previous WMG.
Yui ate Kome-Kome
Search your feelings, you know it to be true. Each time they transform, a fairy turns into food and is eaten, being replaced by an identical twin. Mari's bag is full of about fifty or so of them.
The Movie will set in Munich
Similar to the HeartCatch movie, it will involve the Cures learning about German culture while on a trip to Oktoberfest with the battle with the movie villain taking place in Neuwachstein Castle.
  • Jossed. The movie is set in a magical realm of dreams, and is based around children's meals.
Takumi will be revealed to be Yui's half-brother
In the character bio teaser, there was a hint that he was more than Yui's childhood friend and whilst the obvious twist would be that he is also eventually going to be her protector as white hat boy, my wild mass guess is that he will be her childhood friend and also half-brother, likely same father since we've seen both their mothers already.
  • NO NO NO NO NO NO, this would ruin all the shipping some of us already have for Yui and Takumi!
  • Jossed, Episode 13 reveals they have two different fathers.
Rosemary's fate after his Delicious Stone is restored
After his broken delicious stone is fixed, Rosemary will have the chance to return to the CooKingdom. But by then, Mari-chan will have gone through Character Development, and have bonded with the Cures, Kome-Kome, Takumi, Akiho, and pretty much so many other people in Oishiina Town. This means it'll be too hard for him to just leave everbody he's grown to love like that. Of course this is Precure, there should some better options for him by the end.
  1. Rosemary ''will end up leaving to return to the CooKingdom , but he and the girls will find some magical way for them to say in touch. Meaning they won't drift apart, even after they're all older in a Distant Finale.
  2. Or maybe Mari will decide to stay in Oishiina Town with everyone, having grown so close to them that he won't want to leave. He can end up keeping all his magical powers and be able to have a happy life supporting the girls in the finale.
Rosemary will have a male love interest
Pretty much a lot feel that Camp Straight Mari-chan is a gay man! So maybe, just maybe, he'll get a hinted or confirmed relationship with another man. Whether it's someone in Oishiina Town or the CooKingdom (like maybe Fennel or the shadowed figure in the opening), this could work since Precure is starting to hint more lgbt characters in their works.
Gentle is either an orphan or a latchkey child
Some of Gentle's actions suggest that, wherever she's living in Oshiina Town, she doesn't have parental supervision, an example being mentioning buying her own shopping, in that she buys whatever food she failed to collect the recipippins of, meaning she's 'literally' out buying her groceries for the week after the fight is over.
  • Partially jossed. Her parents haven't been seen, but she lives with her brothers.
    • Fully jossed as of episode 37, where Amane’s parents finally make their appearance.
Rosemary will adopt Amane Kasai
As an extension of the above theory, Rosemary will, when they find out Amane is quite literally running her family's business on her own, step in as her parent or guardian, taking over ownership of Fruits Parlor Kasai.
  • Jossed. her brothers take care of her, not Rosemary.
Fruits Parlor Kasai will be the Cures' secret base
Several toy items have been announced as pieces for a shop playset. Possibly the Cures will use Amane's sweet shop as a place they can plausibly enter and leave at random points in the day, and no-one in the building will react to it.
  • Appears to be jossed. The Cures usually gather at Yui’s house whenever they’re discussing important matters.
The party glasses are used for the group attack
Cause you don't just make Mary give the cures special-looking cups and then not do anything with them, right?
  • Jossed. The Cures use stylized blenders for their group attack instead.
Yui's grandmother is The Narrator
The Narrator has an elderly voice like the grandmother and the narrator herself is keeping things secret for the time being.
  • Alas, Yui's grandmom passed away before the series ever began.
    • I mean, ghosts aren't very unusual for a series like Pretty Cure, are they?
Episode count will be reduced because of the hack
Not unlike what happened with Healin' Good♡Pretty Cure.
Rosemary will become an Honorary Uncle to Takumi.
Once Takumi reveals he is Black Pepper to the group, Rosemary would probably like to have a place in his life, as he is the son of his old friend Cinnamon. Takumi will be apprehensive at first due to still not entirely trusting Rosemary, but he will eventually warm up to him.
If there is a Distant Finale, it'll be set more than just a few years later.
Specifically, it'll be set when Yui is now an old woman with a granddaughter of her own. She'll teach her about how food brings smiles, passing it on to a new generation.
  • Also! This kind of finale could also show that Yui and Takumi have finally become a happily married couple.
Seems rather obvious this is where they may be going with this.

Cinnamon/Monpei was framed for the first theft of the Recipe-Bon.
In Episode 19, Rosemary says that the Recipe-Bon was stolen once before by Cinnamon, but Amane says that she heard that it was actually stolen by the Bundoru Gang. What likely happened was that when the gang first tried to steal the Recipe-Bon, roughly 20 years ago, Cinnamon discovered their plot and stopped them. However, he was eventually caught trying to return the Recipe-Bon to its proper place, and was promptly accused of being the thief. This lead to him being exiled from CooKingdom and sent to Earth as punishment for his supposed crime.
  • Confirmed in episode 42.

Amane, Yuan, and Mitsuki have a deceased parent.
So far Amane's parents have not appeared on the show. While it has been a very long time since we have a cure with a deceased parent (the last one being Yayoi from Smile PreCure!), but there may be some vibes that suggest that one of the Kasai parents are deceased. Thinking about it like this, it is also possible that the grief of losing a parent played a part in the Bundoru Gang brainwashing Amane into Gentlu.
  • Jossed. Episode 37 shows that their parents are both alive and well.

Fennel is Godatz.
He's been around since the first episode and even the opening sequence but has had very little significance so far. He could have possibly stolen the Recipe-bon and framed Cinnamon for it. Godatz also does not have a revealed voice actor, leading to the potential that they are hiding it due to a spoiler like what happened with Darknest back in Star Twinkle.
  • A new potential suspect for Godatz's identity is Ginger. Rosemary's master who apparently knew Yui's grandmother and wore a cat-like hat. Considering the Bundoru base is cat shaped and Godatz appearance resembles a cat face.
  • Confirmed for Fennel as of Episode 41. Ginger was a Red Herring.

Yui's Grandmother Yone was the previous Pretty Cure and partner to Kome-Kome's predessesor.
Related to theory above, with her knowing Rosemary's master and ability to see the recipepe.

Narcistoru's Heel–Face Turn will end with him dying.
Given everything he's done to Oishiina Town, the Cures, Mari, Takumi, Amane, and Spiritoru, Narcistoru is far too evil to redeem, or at the very least redeem and possibly stay alive. Episode 37 seems to hint the beginning of his (underseved) redemption, but Secretoru, his former comrade, attempted to kill him. Nothing really says that Secretoru and any other villain won't attempt to kill him again, so we should assume while redemption for Narcistoru is possible, there's a good chance he may take the bullet for the Precure in the climax of the season, having a Heartwarming Tear Jerker moment with Amane before dying.
