Memoirs of a Battle Brothel is a RPG Maker H-Game made by A Memory of Eternity. Following a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2020, it was released in 2022, and can be downloaded here.

Memoirs of a Battle Brothel is a narrative-driven, tactical turn-based RPG, set in the CyberPunk setting of MoonFall, where players assume the role of a Facilitator, an associate of the Courtesan’s Guild that provides much-needed services for guild members, including lodging and upkeep of facilities that attracts a wealthy clientele. Part manager-owner, steward and battle commander, your actions will impact the prosperity of your Guild Hall, as well as the fate of MoonFall.

Memoirs of a Battle Brothel contains examples of the following tropes:

  • Civil War: The Courtesan's Guild devolves into one of these near the start of the game, between the Traditonalists, who want to keep the Guild the same to protect it, and the Progressives, who want to reduces restrictions on who can become a Courtesan, and regulate the entire sex industry, which would put the Guild at odds with MoonFall's crime syndicates.
  • Cult: The Shaper cults worship magic, hoping to reclaim their homeland and to restore the waning power of magic, with the Three Moons being the largest of the shaper cults.
  • Cyborg: Several, but Kore is the most extensive, having too many augmentations to be a proper Courtesan, and has enough bionics that after losing the lower half of her body to a bomb and dying from her wounds, she is still able to be brought Back from the Dead.
  • Expy: The Traveller's Mandate is one of the SCP Foundation.
  • Facial Markings: Dejah Mars has some, to honor her family and bloodline.
  • Fakin' MacGuffin: Gray hands you one of these to give to Iron Gregarion when the latter is looking for the Throne Relic, and implies he has pulled a Somebody Set Us Up The Bomb. Unfortunately for Gray, Gregarion swapped it for the real deal.
  • Hello, [Insert Name Here]: You get to choose the first and last name of your character, as well as the name of your Guild Hall.
  • High-Class Call Girl: Guild Courtesans are these, having been highly trained in social etiquette and sexual techniques (as well as combat), and have a level of prestige that other prostitutes don't have. The Guild Progressives want to get rid of these, opening the Guild open to anybody who want to be a Courtesan.
  • High Collar of Doom: Thassia combines one of these with a catsuit with a Navel-Deep Neckline, although it's subverted considering how she's not one of the bad guys.
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: Gray tries to pull a Fakin' MacGuffin on Iron Gregarion when the latter wants the Throne Relic, and implies he has pulled a Somebody Set Us Up The Bomb. Unfortunately for Gray, Gregarion expected this and swapped the fake for the real relic at some point, meaning Gray gave Gregarion the key to being able to claim the throne.
  • Ms. Fanservice: Any female with a full body talksprite is this to some degree.
  • Navel-Deep Neckline: Thassia sports a catsuit that combines this with High Collar of Doom.
  • One-Gender School: Although the Courtesan's Guild isn't really a school, only females are allowed to become proper Courtesans. The Progressives want to get rid of this rule.
  • Power at a Price: Shapers are magic users, but lose a memory every time they use their powers.
  • Private Military Contractors: Stormbreaker Securities is one, and has been hired by some of the smaller crime syndicates to fight the Iron Cartel.
  • Really Royalty Reveal: When Iron Gregarion sends you to get the Throne Relic from Gray, he reveals that not only Gregarion descended from the Pirate Kings, but so is Thassia.
  • Silk Hiding Steel: Courtesans are trained in social etiquette (although some don't use what they've learnt) as well as sexual training, and have enough combat training that when the Guild's Civil War starts they use said training to fight more like soldiers.
  • Shady Lady of the Night: Combat training is part of the process of becoming a Courtesan, and when the Civil War starts, Courtesans engage in combat, bombings and other warlike actions.
  • Vigilante Man: The Old Watch is a group of vigilantes.
