Trivia / Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner

Go To

  • Accidentally-Correct Writing: The Road Runner's claim that roadrunners don't drink in "Beep, Beep" is actually true, as those birds absorb the water from their prey through their digestive systems.
  • Acting for Two: In the Japanese dub, Wile E. Coyote's voice actor, Hideyuki Umezu, is also the male narrator in both his and other Looney Tunes shorts.note
  • Beep Me Up, Scotty: We all know it's "BEEP BEEP!" Yet for some strange reason, it still sounds like "MEEP MEEP!" Paul Julian, the actual speaker of the sounds (which are still used to this day) said it was more a "HMEEP HMEEP!"
  • Completely Different Title: Known in France as Bip Bip et Coyote ("Beep Beep and Coyote", Road Runner's being named after his vocalisation in the French version). A literal translation of the title would be Wile E. Coyote et le GĂ©ocoucou.
